Implicit notation includes BOTH an implied multiplication AND the implied grouping relationship of parentheses around the implicit expression. The better, newer calculators are trying to reconcile that discrepancy with the PEJMDAS mnemonic convention.

Implicit notation includes BOTH an implied multiplication AND the implied grouping relationship of parentheses around the implicit expression. Which is why it is reserved for depicting derived or compound quantities such as circumference, area, volume, energy, ect.
Juxtapositional multiplication indicates an implicit notation expression and is evaluated first under the PEMDAS priority level of P, not M.
