Thank you so much for this video. I’m homeschooling my granddaughter during lockdown and had no clue how to do this. I’m now able to go in to teach her.
Naprawdę nie wyobrażam sobie życia bez BODMAS. Kiedyś to trzeba było u nas trochę myśleć nad tą kolejnością działań, a z BODMAS-em zawsze na chama można zacząć od dzielenia nawet jeśli wkurza to mnożenie. Coś pięknego ;)
I feel like I've got this too, as i always struggled, but it might have been bad teachers. But now I'm having to re- learn maths at gcse level, then a level, because my work are going to pay for me to do an engineering degree and I'm 42. So don't let anything stop you from learning.
iv got a math test tmr and was very confused of the rules of bidmass , I didn't know when you add or subtract in an equation u work from left to right thank you so much
Never knew this, my 11 yo daughter just taught me. Ref left to right, even in Arabic (famously write from right to left) they write numbers left to right!
Man thank youuuu for making this video, I havent done bidmas since y6 and Ive always thought of it as confusing but this videos so simple to go through tyyyy
Hi, your videos are amazing, clean and simple, can I ask you what kind of app you use to make the videos? Is it a power point or something else they look amazing and I would like to use them for my own studying. 🙏🏻
No,I also get confused when I heard the terms first. But they are the same(the term PEMDAS is used in USA,and the term BODMAS is used in UK and India). There is nothing to do with the order of the ALPHABET when it comes to Multiplication and Division or Addition and Subtraction.Because they are the same priority in order. 8÷2×2=8 9×6÷3=18 Just do from left to right, when these two come
Sometimes you need to multiply first. Multiply and division is like plus and minus, you can do it first or later (ofc earlier than plus and minus). 4/5x10 If you do division first, there will be a remainder, so you can multiply first 4/5x10 =4x10/5 =40/5 =8
You gave a really good and brief explanation now I remember how to do bedmas I hope I remember how it do this in class when I am doing it even though I have extra help with math I will try my best to learn very good form this video
I'm autistic and that causes me to not have focus for very long so when I was in public school I would zone out now I'm homeschooled and in my last year before I go to college (yay) and I'm taking my GCSES there cuz there free and inter some extra tutoring so this really helped it taught me the things I need to know and I didn't lose focus so thank you cognito you are saving my academic career
Thank you so much I don’t know if my school will teach us this so I wanted to know this for the future and I hope I’ll be ahead when we learn this thanks and yea.

Thanks so much for this. I was having a moment wondering why "1-1+1" wasn't "-1" and now I know 🙂
some
wa it evr -2?
How the fuck did you get -1 from that
@@krystiangeldon7929 because I though subs 1+1 is 2 you would do 1-2 and get -1. It’s dumb Ik 🫤
I'm sorry what?

Very helpful, thank you!
Thanks you so much for this video ❤
its so clear for me👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏!
Wow this is so great. This assisted me alot thanks
Great, glad to hear so Nyrvan!!
I think the most confusing thing about PEMDAS and BODMAS is the fact that we're not sure what's the correct answer when it comes to this format.
That’s what the order is for! Brackets first etc… should all get the same answer if you follow the correct route
Is it 21?
No,I also get confused when I heard the terms first. But they are the same(the term PEMDAS is used in USA,and the term BODMAS is used in UK and India). There is nothing to do with the order of the ALPHABET when it comes to Multiplication and Division or Addition and Subtraction.Because they are the same priority in order.
8÷2×2=8
9×6÷3=18
Just do from left to right, when these two come
@@htethtet4367i used bedmas in school. Trying to do pedmas now… I never thought going back to school would be so much😢
thanks this is helping for my end of year next week
It was so helpful to revise..... Thank You so much....👍
I am writing a test tomorrow thanks 😊
This Is a real good way to study
Your better than my math teacher😮
Thanks so much this will help me in school a lot thanks for your help
Sometimes you need to multiply first. Multiply and division is like plus and minus, you can do it first or later (ofc earlier than plus and minus).
4/5x10
If you do division first, there will be a remainder, so you can multiply first
4/5x10
=4x10/5
=40/5
=8
You can still get correct answer by doing division first
4/5x10
4/5x10/1
4x10/5x1
40/5
=8
GG Olivia your correct
You gave a really good and brief explanation now I remember how to do bedmas I hope I remember how it do this in class when I am doing it even though I have extra help with math I will try my best to learn very good form this video
