It will be interesting to see what they do. I think Kreese has an even fonder connection to Tory than he does with even Johnny. I think he sees Tory within himself. A lot of potential with this storyline.

You know what I'm surprised that you didn't mention as one of the things to expect is more bonding scenes between her and Amanda. I mean after all, yeah Kreese defended Tory but it was Amanda who got Tory on the right track in S4 to where she is right now, but other than that great list. I can't wait to see who you do next.

I mean Tory no longer trusts Kreese after the falling out they had at the prison, and Kreese might see her as another enemy after failed attempts to recruit her back into Cobra Kai like with Johnny during season 3. Kreese really doesn't have any room to lecture Kim Da-Eun since he tells his students to finish each other, and kick students out for petty reasons.
I'm not sure if her expulsion will matter much as the miyagiverse doesn't often get into intricate details like that. And even so, community college is always an option for her where she could start. Interesting points but with Tory it was very different to a Bert and Mitch for instance. Kreese isnt full no mercy 100% of the time. When it's tory and Johnny now, he has a soft spot for both of them We even saw that level of softness in season 4 with Tory where instead of telling her to cheat, he instructs her to do what she wants. I do not see him viewing her as an enemy, I mean he did tell her to do whats best for her, he cant really fault her for what she chooses to do. That's where I think kreese and kim will differ. He shows that he still has gray areas for certain people. Where as what weve seen from Kim is one note and evil.

Kreese only cares about having strong fighters. Caring about people and caring about people's skills are two different things. Kreese wouldn't have gone to those lengths with the landlord if Tory wasn't one of his best fighters, which is the opposite of Johnny helping Miguel regain his range of motion despite Miguel not being able to move his legs right after the surgery and Johnny not even planning on getting back into karate after losing Cobra Kai. And then Kreese had her keep secrets from everyone in season 5, including about Cobra Kai's victory that was bought. He only did that after he saw no further use for her to get him out of prison legally. And yet Kreese claimed that Johnny "betrayed" him when that honor really goes to the former since he went behind Johnny's back and took his dojo in season 2. He also tried to justify everything he did to Johnny when they spoke at the prison instead of admitting his wrongdoings.

But I don't think TB3 would have spent all this time making Kreese into more of a gray villain just to have him revert back to his old ways. Somethings got to give. Kreese was a one note villain in the karate kids, now he has layers. Time will tell

It going to be interesting to see Sam and Tory and on the same side and hopefully they can become friends or allies . Also, i would love to see Chozen be her mentor
I want to see Tory and Sam work their problems out just like how Miguel and Robby did with theirs in season 5, and see either Tory or Sam win the tournament after Silver cheated in season 4
I think Julie will just do a couple of episodes, one where she's guest sensei at Miyagi-Fang (maybe she takes all the girls for a day or two, while the boys get Mike Barnes), then appears in the big finale fight, as they need a woman to go against Kim Da Eun. You know there will be one.
Very good points! Something: Freeze the clip at 3:47 and compare how Peyton List looks there, and then compare her 1-1 with the actress which portrays Betsy. Tory and Betsy look much more similar as many realize, same eyebrows, same eye color, similar hairs, etc.. And in S3 you can see anytime when Kreese sees Tory, he has a flashback of Betsy and when he and Betsy became a couple in 1965. I stick with a thought I have since S3: Betsy was maybe pregnant with twins, Tory s mom and aunt, Betsy died, but the two twin sisters were saved. So Tory would indeed be the granddaughter of Kreese and Betsy, and should it be like that and Kreese finds it out, his conflict with Daeun is 100% clear. And it also could be the key for him to beat his evil demons, because a part of Betsy would live in Tory but also in her aunt and mother.
Betsy didn't die. I've said this for years. Watch the episode where Kreese's C.O. opens the letter. The envelope is red or pink. Does that sound like a color you'd be sending a death notice in? A pregnancy notice defiantly. The C.O. was only playing head games when he said she died. Since Kreese thought Betsy was dead why look for her? He went on with his life. I think Tory's mom is Kreese's daughter, making Tory his granddaughter and they'll use the actress that played Betsy to play her own daughter. Thats why she hasn't been shown through the series.

So it would be difficult for her to portray a middle aged woman. I say it's 50/50, 50% theyll eventually become close, 50% they just stay allies. I am leaning more towards them becoming friends, but if that is the case, it'll need lots of time to get to that point.
I don't think Tory has any career plans whatsoever, as she's mainly concerned with making sure she becomes guardian to her brother once their mom dies. That means a full-time job with a stable income, so she's going to need something better than either of her restaurant jobs. My personal theory is the Larussos offer her a job at one of the dealerships, similar to what Robby was doing in S1. She'll go back to school in a few years, once Brandon is old enough to get a PT job and help contribute financially. Personally, I think she is more likely to go to a trade school rather than college.
I can picture Tory's Aunt trying to get custody of the little brother but backfired after the mom asked the LaRussos to sign a guardianship of both kids until they go to college.
I think Tory and Johnny from a Teacher/Student bond based on similar life experiences that helps her going forward.
