Codex is probably the most beautiful song ever written, cant wait for that one! Love me some Separator too though, so looking forward to the next one!
I'm nervous about Codex. I want him to appreciate RH enough so I don't waste that beauty on his rookie brain
Go To Sleep could be an interesting next step, 'cause it has a different sound. There's a slight southern blues vibe there.
What should I comment today?
I think I'll just say either Bloom or Separator. Actually I say roll with Separator (I'm saying this specifically because I'm listening to an earlier more stripped down live version of it)
I'm a fish now.
Nice, the Bends really is a perfect album, I look forward to more reactions from the Bends!
He has reacted well to it (who wouldn't?). Not a down song in the bunch
Bloom
Fun channel guys! Constructive criticism: most people (myself included) are watching this on a phone and can't see those drawings on the side of your screen at all.
Completely agree with you with everything regarding My Iron Lung. You definitely appreciate the guitar dynamics.
For the KoL, I’d go with Codex or Feral. Not a fan of the album version of Bloom, although the stripped back version for Blue Planet, is gorgeous. The unreleased tracks from this album are well worth recommending; The Butcher, Staircase and of course The Daily Mail.
STAIRCASE
Staircase is great. Might have to do The Daily Mail first.
Codex, Separotor or In Bloom - not expecting high scores from Jacob 🤣
Staircase! And I can’t stress that enough. First of all they released the live recording and it’s flawless. Second, I think Jacob will find this tune very enjoyable. But if B sides do not count, then you want to mess him - straight up “morning mr. Magpie”
Mr. Magpie is my vote too. We'll see what everyone else thinks
Either Separator or Bloom live would probably be the best route to go next. And I’m gonna have to disagree about The Bends being the best album, but I’m personally too much of a sucker for their later stuff to appreciate this over the others, so it’s all personal choice in the end.
My affinity with The Bends also stems from the time in my life it was released. People always love the album that introduced them to a band.
Morning mr magpie or little by little
I loved this song when I first heard it, but I’ve appreciated it more and more the longer I’ve known it and the better the quality I’ve heard it in. Listening to it in all its glory, you can pick up how intense and intentional each of the parts are.
The 15th floor? Is that a reference to "just"???
Really enjoying the channel guys.
Look forward to seeing the reaction to “Spectre”
The daily Mail or Spectre (its a travesty this song isn't on the movie) pls if possible
I've had both of these in the queue for awhile. Gotta get to them soon
@@the15thfloor71 yes please do 🙏 I love your videos 🙌

I’d wonder what his reaction would be to watching Thom Jonny’s live performance
