What about bloodsucker encounters? Aren't these creatures supposed to be nocturnal? They are moving around now as if going to a picnic. There were 3 at the shelter where the trader was near the Wild Island. I heard them in the building and saw them through the window and was like "I guess they made a nest here". Then they opened the door and started attacking me. From other videos I saw, it seems it is due to this patch where bloodsuckers now roam around. Does not feel right to me, considering these are supposed to be enemies of a high difficulty. You should expect rare encounters with them...

This is such a lie 😂 The game is exactly the same..... dont believe these bots. This game is broken do not waste your money just play it free if you have Gamepass and you will see just what a mess it is. Yes absolutely the game had potential before release. But it failed. Everyone defending this game is just giving the devs the benefit of the doubt even though this game is practically unplayable. Of all the unfinished game releases in 2024(worst year in gaming) Stalker2 is the least finished. Its a 20 dollar game they charge full price for: empty, repetitive, broken economy, broken combat, broken AI, broken textures, broken quests, broken anomalies... I could go on... this is not even a hardcore experience the difficulty is simply fighting the broken game mechanics. Enemies are just braindead autolock bullet sponges that spawn and despawn out of no where. Its so bad I stayed quiet but I cant just sit back and watch people blatantly lie and cope over this goddamn scam of a game..
Seeing that enemies still detect you from 10 kilometers thought bushes buildings and hill in "stealth" game and that's like easiest bug to fix still not patched gives me no hopes for this game
Tough but not unthinkable. That's obvious... No man's sky, or holding on like Anthem. That's unthinkable. And they didn't need 1 good Netflix season to save the game like Cyberpunk 2077 (just to throw it away with the witcher 4 , Chad Ciri and the lore breaker) Active Accountable Responsive Responsible Coherent and consistent with constant updates. Truely a gem amongst sh*T, a clear response in today's woke DEI garbage. They're doing well. But tiers themselves from a 5/5 to a 4/5 for going after single player exploits that doesn't change the game but gives life to it instead of focusing on what really matters. Despite the quick and attentive feedback from the gamers. That most agree that shouldn't have happened if you're releasing a game, not exploits but the non inclusion of A-life and a working economy and campaign/story that still can't be progressed. I get they've been through alot. But to prioritize a fix of forced gameplay (yes it's enjoyable to not stress, worry, fear or grind currency amongst actual reality in a game meant first and foremost to remove oneself from it which is reality for the sake of enjoyment) however it shouldn't have been in any list of fixes until they have a playable game that has appropriate means (that means cutting repair costs to 1/8th the current cost on regular gameplay) 101k for just my armour..... 3k to 14k max(specific mission reward under specific situation completion) that's unacceptable. They wanted it on Xbox, they're going to play by the rules and the rules are set by gamers that remember cheats being a series of button presses and can still save the game. Don't F with me because we still know the days where you have one life one chance one playthrough and failure means starting all over again. Leave us the simple things that are harmless. Or give us mods so we can have something your tiny greedy little inconsiderate hands don't want to do. Let us play how we want to play, we are gamers we'll find it or not play it. Because how it's meant to be played is how we like it not how you try and sell it.

the most hilarious part about this dumpster fire is that each patch is the size of the whole game.
Stalker 2 game of the year 2024 . Loved this game man 60 hours crossed in steam . Addicted with stalker 2. Need multiplayer pvp mode in next year early months dev
A life 2.0 definitely needs fixing, but we also need binoculars and night vision. A little bit of added gameplay mechanics wouldn't hurt either like a faction system, a stalker ranking system, and world interactions
and no reload interrupt
@ yes! well more of a fleshed out reload system, like if mag is taken out and you interrupt it, the reload animation starts at that point.

Why didn’t they fix before release?
Their country's at War with Russia, they had to flee their country and lost half their staff. Many of which died including the original creator of Stalker, GSC. Had to get a new studio and staff. You know, the typical things a gaming studio has to deal with.

Because as with all games now days, the players are the quality control department. They need thousands of players to find and report bugs.
Just because they're in difficult conditions doesn't mean Im allowed to be angry with the bugs. Once again. They knew invasion was imminent and they stayed. When another country would have gladly paid for their housing and food
The enemy spawning continuasly in the same area needs addressing right now
It was a great game even before this patch. However it was really rough in performance mode on my Series X. So i hooked the Xbox to my VRR monitor and made a huge difference. After some time I'll make my 2nd run as it has mamy different endings based on choices.
The unthinkable is 110GB patch size -- downloading the ENTIRE game again, so I can play single-player campaign.
Yes. Its probably annoying with slow internet connection 😢
Welcome to UE updates, where even when devs changed 1 file of 1mb, players have to redownload whole 5gb archive
Yes!! They finally pulled it off !! They broke the game so I can't even load a save without a fatal l crash ... Looking around on the forums it looks like me and countless other are stuck until the new patch is out..
Well seems like there was another 10gb patch so ill try again
Are we really applauding a game for being released half made. I spent money on this game weeks ago. It was a horrible experience couldn't finish the story after trying from the beginning 3 times. I'm over the game. Half assed products are excepted without anything care now.
same dude and i cant even get a refund, got ripped off by some plebs blaming war for releasing a game early, absolute joke
@dridda9117 I love the stalker series too bee waiting for this for a very long time. This studio will make it right and it will be a good game but fuck why not wait. Its not a money issue is a programmer issue. They get paid way too much for what they do. Everybody and their mom can program now its not that special anymore.
My game on xbox is now impossible to play. I can't get past the load screen, it immediately crashes back to dashboard
As soon as A Life is fully working, I plan on buying this game.
Good because I want to play this game. I will buy it once they fix the performance issues.
They have improved it significantly. I got ~10fps more in settlements now without FG
I refunded after an hour of playing. The game runs very poorly. I've played games with much better graphic and run much smoother.
waiting on playstation version :(
@AJ-eh5kn it won't be on PlayStation I'm a playstation fan myself and Stalker 2 Remake is a Xbox and PC game only
It's on sale now, and received a major patch. So maybe it's time to give it a chance?
We went from A-Life non existent to Offline AI. So at the very least a Propper implementation of A-Life would be possible. The render distance for AI is just 80m still, and once they turn from online to offline they basically get time Frozen, unlike in the older Games where they would roam around. Saw a dude Jury rig his Game to have a 500 m AI render distance. Dude played with 30fps But with a somewhat working Skeleton of A-Life
80m? thats so shit lmao defo not playing it until i can fix that
I have been in touch with devs through email, and the way they respond to messeges trully shows that they care.
I'm still stuck at SIRCAA, with Ritcher not showing up in the stairs so... didn't change much for me. Maybe in a year or two I will get back to the game
Try reloading before that save unfortunately for you, I know it sucks but you probably did something wrong along the way, and by wrong I don’t mean necessarily your fault but made a wrong move or did something you shouldn’t have. If you’re on pc potentially conflicting mods

Unthinkable? You mean they fixed bugs?
I still can't play it because of Unreal Engine 5's default movement oversight of not stopping movement when pressing opposite directional keys at the same time on a keyboard. I have tourette's syndrome and sometimes it just happens, causing too much frustration to even walk straight. Support even had me record a video demonstration of the oversight and responded with "we make no guarantees" which I read as "get filtered, scrub".
Ahhh I have had that problem where he keeps moving !! So annoying man
As a person who had his childhood in the 80's / 90's I disagree they should be applauded for having a 'mostly' built game at launch regardless of circumstance, such backwards logic from this generation. Build games 100%, then ship it.
I just got another update 9.8gb on windows ….20/12 ?
Maybe they will ad a god damn night vision gogless becouse it felt like i played 70% at night and using flashlight just gave away my location , and i remember previous games had night vision...
Either that, or extend the range of the flashlight itself. I use it sparingly and opted to just focus on silhouettes in the dark.

Goddammit, could you had done this video without the spoilers???
After playing last night for a couple hours, major differences were how often I encountered humans. Its definitely UP!! 1 group did spawn directly behind me during a reload though. Everyone seemed easier to kill as well. Stash markers color changed. That's about it. Still need view distance to be fixed. Its just stupid to hear the gun fights but can't see anything until suddenly, POOF they they are. =)
I played tonight and got stuck on a main mission. I can't progress further. I'm sooo happy about economy fixes tho, because that's what's really important

This is such a lie 😂
The game is exactly the same..... dont believe these bots.
If anything the performance took a major hit on consoles with absolutely no noticeable benefits and now it takes up more room on the harddrive..
And they didn't need 1 good Netflix season to save the game like Cyberpunk 2077 (just to throw it away with the witcher 4 , Chad Ciri and the lore breaker)

Coherent and consistent with constant updates.
Kudos to GSC for delivering us this awesome experience while working overtime in these harsh conditions 💚

These days, the only reason to get a game at launch is if you have no impulse control and lack patience, cuz nowadayz, its best to let the game cook for as long as it needs to for it to be its best representation of what the team was going for, and by the time they do that, the price will also be much lower...Prime example is Cyberpunk 2077....
