I love this cake. I know this is back before Thanksgiving, I assume 2021, but now in May of 2022 I've been searching for the fake fruits like strawberries, cherries, and blueberries. Not one bite of luck. 😣😖

Hi Laura,I so love your videos and have just started to try fake Cakes.I want to definitely try this one. One question...how would I get the styrofoam to sit flat while decorating with the pipe cleaners out the bottom? I tired this method on another cake and ended up cutting them off out of frustration from the wobbling. Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thx
Yes glue your styrofoam cake to a cake board or make one like I do with a foam board from dollar tree. I then poke the through the cake and foam board and add pipe cleaners. It’s still gonna be wobbly but you can hood the foam board to help you decorate it.
Also I have cut the neck off a mannequin head and glued it to the foam board like a build in cake stand. There is a hole in the bottom of the neck so you can go right through with pipe cleaners then tuck them back up in neck. It doesn’t wobble like that.
That cake turned out so life like and gorgeous ok I’m convinced you can do anything lol anyway Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁

You poke holes through your styrofoam cake and put pipe cleaners through it ? And then through the bottom of your shipping box?
Yes and twist them on bottom of box and cover with shipping tape. 😊
You also have to wrap it well with bubble wrap
