    This Skoda Enyaq looks like Subaru Outback in its shape: it is a very nicely presented station wagon people to think it is an SUV. Puting together the charging curve and quality of interior makes the car a very attractive and practical proposition. That is a pity it will not be available on the market of North America.

    Great video! I think it will be safe to assume the Audi Q4 E-Tron will have very similar numbers now. I’m impressed with the MEB platform and the consistent charge curve.

      I wish. My Q4 never gets near the theoretical charging curve

    35 minutes to add back 350+km of WLTP (~175 miles EPA) range is a big deal. A slightly higher sustained peak would shave the time to 30 minutes but we're very close. The Mustang Mach-E is already getting left behind and it's brand new.

    @nevco8774 3 года назад +1

    Having so much data collected, you, Kris, should put some analitical videos with several charging curves together as comparison. Then based on that to group cars in categories from just city cars like Honda E and Mazda MX30 EV to road warriors like Porsche Taycan and Audi Etron GT with some stand alone extremely flat curved EVs like your own Audi Etron SUV. Those kind of videos could catch up being seen by wide audiences.

    It’s just there with the ID.4
    Rumours say that on 20.05. VW will announce the MY22 for their ID models with new sensors interior trims and new exterior colours and the much rumoured increase in max charging power.
    Interesting video, but it only confirmed what we all expected. The Enyaq and the ID.4 have the very same drive unit.
    Thank you.

    So, 200km range in 20 minutes. That's enough for a stop every 200km, pee, snack, continue. I like.

    Kris, very cool test, 👍 looks like it’s right there with the ID4, I take it the charging curve is similar as well?
    BTW what do you sort your chart by? 10-80% charging times or KM pre-min recovered?

    I understand that you only get 125kW if you start at 10-20% SOC, but what do you get if you arrive with say 45? Can you look at the 45% SOC on your graph and does it pick up from there (about 100kW), or is it more complicated than that?

    • @attilalenart865
      @attilalenart865 2 года назад

      Hi Simon, I had IV80 version with 125 kW option. When I start charging from ca. 40% SOC the charging power is around 70 kW. I do not understand why not higher (as we saw at the video) ?

      I’m very curious too - it’s about £7k cheaper in the UK than the 80 (with Govt grant).... and I’m really curious to know if the 60 with the heat pump has a similar range to an 80 without one ( in cold weather I guess ).

    • @enyaq_gorm
      @enyaq_gorm 3 года назад

      @@iixorb that's kind of the calculating I made, ordered a60 with heat pump, and assume it will be roughly similar to my tesla which has 47 kW and no heat pump

    That MEB platform is a winner. And Enyaq should be offered in North America... Heck, no ID.4 available for months here... It would kill it. But eh, VAG is a strange corporation...

    Hi Chris, I saw you cut in the video at 3 min and like 7kWh into the session. Can't you add any part of the graph before 10%?
    I tend to take cars lower than 10% when roadtripping.😉 As I know you do too.

    • @KrisRifa
      @KrisRifa  3 года назад +4

      The reason I don’t at below 10% is so there charts are standardized. But most EVs like this one will hit peak speed at 0% 😊

    The charging screen showed 38 mins to 80%, was this a different charging session? I'm a little bit confused, the excel mentions 34,8 mins?

    • @KrisRifa

      That’s because I started charging at 3% and not 10%. You can see from the video that we are already at 3 mins when we are 10% 👍
