@@TheFishingBloggers seriously though, looks like you put in some great work, so it’s tough you didn’t catch. Fishing is so random, sometimes it just cannot be forced, but then other times...... My dad back in the early 70’s had a mirror followed by a common on the river Thames just pleasure fishing for any species on match kind of gear. Apparently the guy he was with was blown away! I’ve not yet any carp from a river and he had 2 just like that! Tight lines mate.
Pukka video that shaun 👍🏼👌🏼 well in mate good filming and editing, unlucky on the blank but then again sounded like harsh conditions from what you said 😪 keep up the good vids 👏🏽
Hi. I have been looking for a carp fisherman that showed us on one of their vlogs, a torch that scares away the tufted ducks. If this is you could you please tell me the name, and where to get one. Same goes for your coat. Many thanks..... Ray.
Hi mate. I'm not the angler that used the torch, think that's Leon Bartropp. The jacket I'm wearing if from Karpr Clothing, great bit of kit... Seriously warm!
@@TheFishingBloggers Hi. Looking at your jacket on the video it looks brown, sandy, and green. The one on the web site looks more blue colour, are they one of the same?
Nice try better luck Nx time. Maybe a feeder rod to the left just where the drop off is and one to the right you could use a match caddy then for your maggots. A roving rod in the middle. 👍
The Fishing Bloggers swim 31 or 32 had the 1st on the drop. Its worth a go with a spinner just off the ledge for a perch and jack pike. Flooding again they must be losing a bit of income. There’s a big Roach with your name on it just a matter of time 👍
Great vlog once again Shaun.. Better luck next time mate your on the bank.. Tight lines and wet nets from all of us at the Carp Crew Screamers.. 👍🎣
Thanks 👍
Lovely video Shaun. I understand you’re not allowed to fish fixed leads on there any longer. What rig would you use in that case?
Thanks John, glad you liked it. Fixed leads? I wasn’t using a fixed lead arrangement, the lead can pull free in the event of a break/cut off.
@@TheFishingBloggers how does it detach? Is it some sort of clip?
Woah man, congrats- massive roach well done
🤣🤣

Unlucky mate keep at it n it will come together just like carp fishing what mainline do you use for roach fishing 😊👍🎣🎣🎣🐟🐟🐟tight lines mate
I was using 8lb mainline, Berkeley trilene in clear.
Hi Guys what camera and editing software do you use?
Canon 700d mostly, sometimes P30 pro and Gopro 7 Black edition. Used IMovie for editing up until the start of this year, now use Final Cut Pro.
Hard luck mate
Not through the lack of trying 🎣
Can't win them all, been a slow start to the year 🙄 be lucky
Some big roach in river ouse at York city I used to catch them over 2lb when I was a kid years ago but they should still be there
Bit of a trek for us that one!
Hi Shaun with the title of the video I was expecting a monster roach but still a good video all the same. Until next time take care my friend.
I was expecting one too 😂😂😂 Maybe next time 🤞
Thought you had one there for a minute. Bad luck
Yes, it's been a frustrating year so far!
Crack on m8..still enjoyed it blank or no blank...all the best...👍👍🍺🍺
Thanks mate. Be lucky 👍

The Fishing Bloggers you were right about the other end of the lake that’s where I had the two Roach in your vid
@@shed43a nice mate, they were cracking roach. I'll have another go when it stops raining, complex is flooded!

Can’t catch every time. 💪
Roach over 3lb are a harder target than a 50lb carp.
I'm certainly finding that out the hard way 😂😂😂
Wilder was robbed
to much talking and no fishing
Standard 😂
