When discussing types of team comps, you use terms like shatter and mirror and turbo cleave and jungle cleave. Some of us don't know what those mean.

Absolutely amazing video, the breakdowns are on point & the format is great.
Rogue as a cc bot is so different as you'd have to do multiple stuff within 1 sec or 2. It's like being on drugs, you see everything in fast speed & the others are in slow motion. Rogue, especially sub is a good class to practice reacting, acting & thinking at an incredible speed, that's why Whaazz & Pikaboo make it look like matrix at times.
This video will allow few teams to practice rmp at a good level, a lot of teams under 2.6k will start crying at how OP rmp is. Even more so after this vid.

For the people in this chat crying about how OP RMP is, consider how much practice and coordination goes into playing it at this level. It's much much easier to achieve higher rating playing lower skill cap classes like any double melee train comp. RMP makes the casual wow player's head spin.
Is it possible for you guys to make a video on how to capitalize on defeating the RMP on different comps? For example which specific "openings" to look for etc? As someone new to pvp, this helped lots to see what they do, so i can attempt to stop them, but it would help a lot as well to see specific weaknesses, openings, etc to try and capitalize on :)
Really easy way to counter is look for Kidney on your team, especially at lower rating this is a sure fire sign they are attempting a go. As soon as you see kidney on anyone CC either the mage or the rogue immediately. If you can’t stop one of the two dps use a defensive cool down. Higher rating they won’t always kidney to start a go, it may be a cheap shot or keeping an eye if they’re sheeping the kill target that’s a sign of a setup. Should make it a lot easier to survive just paying attention to kidney. (RMP is my main comp)
Great video breakdown! I've only ever played mage once and it was for this comp back in cataclysm, and with not that much time I was able to hit the good old 2200 rating. Went from playing a warlock to mage wasn't too hard since I was already good at cc with fears and counter spells with 2500 rating, only needed to learn the dps rotation and it was easy to get good set ups for a kill.

Its because the players playing rmp are by far more dominant than the rest of players in the pro tour, and because fire mage is nuts.

It's because Sub and Fire are OP AF right now. If one of the 3 specs are OP they will own.
Rogues are defenitely not OP, theyre very good, but not OP AF....
Sub is far from OP buddy. Def. needs huge buffs.

I love RMP man, but it really is super difficult and frustrating to play, because as you said, it looks so easy, but all the little things seems to make the difference.

Awesome video, so its good to cs poly on goes so the mage can't do shit and you can effectively kill, only issue is I focus the healer a lot so seeing thr mage cast poly is hard, do most mage just switch focus between polys?

Its so much fun fighting against Sup Fire !!!! I like to die in one stun or running across the map like an idiot to get the sub in fight, but it feels like he needs 2sec to be ooc !!! Oh but no there is the FIRE mage with so mutch ICE spells XD NEED big changes this specs are stupid as hell

Why not poly paladin at open instead of ring?
1) positioning - Whazz kidney’s the pally LOS around the pillar so the mage uses ring to land the cc without having to use a shimmer charge to get in LOS of the pally.
2) enemy team has a mage. opening with ring baits counter spell on his frost tree which keeps Whazz’s mages arcane school protected (for klepto) and still allows him to shimmer poly if the mage kicks the ring because of the shorter cast time on poly.

Lol at the comments didn't watch the vid or are unable to comprehend anything.
The first thing they do is complain or moan, without thinking how within a second or 2 you see a sap, cheap & kidney, poly & so on. Doing this at that speed, coordination & planning is amazing but these guys all says "OP NERF RMP". They die in a 5 sec stun cause they didn't realize they were getting well done cooked by them or just used his cds/trinket bad.
The fact that in the first clip, Whaazz alone has all 3 enemies in a cc before opener and still has duel, bomb and blind left is exactly what makes this so dumb though. Yes, Whaazz is insane but he also has an enormous toolkit to be insane with. That's the whole point.

It's SL, everyone has incredible amount of toolkits for survival or turning things around.

Tanks shouldn't be allowed in arena. I don't want them nerfed idgaf what they do in PvE just keep it as heals/dps.
@@robertfugate2232 I don't know, I thought having them in the place of healers is a pretty cool way to integrate them into PvP. They don't have a dispel, they take 20% more damage, and their healing is very reliant on doing certain things. They don't get to play setup or CC comps because their avenger's shield would break CC and they have to spam that in order to heal. I kinda like it. If Blizz thought about balancing it for the role, it could be a nice flavour.
@@bos7522 I see why you could think that and I'm definitely not implying the win wasn't impressive or took a high level of skill. The game had me entertained and the reverse sweeps definitely had me on the edge of my seat.

It's called skillful setups using cross CC, careful trading of defensives and dropping combat using your available tools. You have to bide your time, be patient and careful. And the thing you're doing is called making a fool out of yourself. The only 2 teams that play RMP in AWC at both EU and NA are coincidentally the ones with the 2 best rogues.

I know I know pick me teacher.! Yes Timmy.? Is it because they just still have way to much burst damage for all the amount of cc and Def they have? Exactly Timmy, maybe we finally need the kidney nerf and bring it down to 4secs like other ccs and cheap shot can only stun twice or have an I ternal cool down on sheep (and wl fear) just like hex has. But Mr teacher, rogues and mages always cry, when they can't 2v1 teams and say they are unplayable, while my class can be kitet and has basically no cc and no solo outplay potential! Well Timmy, if you dominate this hard for 15 years being balanced and on par with others just isn't an option for those who main them.

I agree, they should nerf RMX, that comp has been broken for over a decade now. Put 10 sec CD on cheapshot so they can't spam it during shadow dance, make Blind a poison again, increase KS CD to 30 sec. As for Mages, increase DB CD to 40 sec, delete triune ward, nerf combust more.
