Why do these people bother trying to explain those silly textes? Do they think that people are that stupid that they can't understand what they read? It's like the "science in the Qur an" stuff, i've read the whole Qur an and i can't, for the sake of me, see ANY modern scientific knowledge on it. I can read about a geocentrical solar system (although greeks had proposed the heliocentrical model around one thousand years before, and that was no miracle), i can read about common ancient cosmogonies, but something remotely related with modern knowledge, not one line. Thing is, if reality contradicts those textes, reality must be wrong. Even when they can see it in front of their eyes.

The trouble of course is that many Muslims, today, continue to act as if this imaginary Muhammad was "the most perfect man who ever lived" and that all his deeds formed the gold-standard for human conduct. These's nothing wrong with the first part of the Islamic creed, which is a reassertion of monotheism; but everything is wrong with the second (actually a post-Koranic addition), which sees this highly problematic individual as Allah's last, final, and most perfect prophet.

Honest historians who study Islam found that the only few instances of "golden age" in Islam were instances when religion became less important, when the Khalifa allowed freedom of poetry, music, art, science, and innovation. Both David and Solomon's existence is highly dubious-but even if Solomon in particular did exist the extent and power of his kingdom would have been quite meager compared to the real super powers of the time like Egypt,Assyria,Babylon etc.The Bible exaggerates the extent and power of his kingdom but the exaggeration about Solomon in the Koran is almost literally outside of this world.I think the writers of the Koran mistook Jewish folklore and tall stories about Solomon as fact.

No scholar worth his name will claim that Jesus was not a historical figure.

King Solomon did exist however the number of wives he had may be either 1. exagerated or 2 were symbolic numbers to make the point that he had way too many women to count as a king as for talking to animals I have never heard of that story also David definitely exist as well as Jesus historian agree to that.
