Thanks for the review! We're considering buying one and it helped a lot to have a closer look at the features

Nice bike. Can't beat it for local deliveries. Double battery a good idea.
    Good video. Thanks

Really informative review and ride. I appreciate it. Looking to move away from a two car family and have a much more exciting way to engage my toddler when we have to go out and about. Thought about the Tern GSD but really didn't like that she would be behind me. Even up front has its draw backs but Id rather be able to engage with her as we ride, along with the fact that she would be in a well protected actual seat too! Choices are 1. Load 60, 2. Load 70., and 3. Packster 70. I love the box on the Packster but full suspension of the Load is calling me. Choices!

@@NevoEVReviewIreland yeah I got the Shimano ep8 version from Think Bike in Dublin, the bike institute also sell them afaik.

@@spillanemike Bullitt bikes are super popular in Berlin, I met a guy at a stop light who got a "Muscle Bullitt" which meant 'no battery.' Not sure if that's their official naming, but they defo have a bit more spirit in their colours/design than competitors.

@@ChelseaBlacker i had considered an "analogue" :) one but given the hills in Cork decided on the battery one, yeah, some great colours :)

Thanks Derek! At 12:10 you mention the Control Technology Package's double suspension option (cargo & 'driver') - do any competitors offer this? Also, at 02:54 you say "you can option that with a magnet" - perhaps you meant a lock? I did a comparison Packster vs Load 75 (both Riese & Müller) ruclips.net/video/02M_ydns3Gc/видео.html 😉

Having looked myself, there is very few competitors with front and rear suspension.....

Thanks for the comment and great video Chelsea! Let me come back to you regarding which cargo bikes offer dual suspension At 2:54 you are correct. Sometimes my mouth moves faster than my brain with these one take videos.

Just heard back and as far as I can tell, the only other cargo bike models with the option for full suspension is the Riese & Muller Load 60 and Load 75 models

Hi, indeed, Control Technology Kit (rear suspension) can now be optioned for Packster and Transporter models as well, Load 60/75 it comes standard. There in NO other ebike company offering rear suspension frames. The gloves box has a key lock as a option.

@@NealMcQuaid right? It definitely corners the market for buyers looking for ultimate comfort. When I turn onto cobble stone streets without a moments hesitation, I think “best upgrade ever!”; but I could just be working extra hard to justify the cost (and subconsciously preferring cobbles?).

Hello, you're talking about a baby seat option. How does this work? I don't find information on that anywhere. Nice video. Thanks!

@joseph if you're keen on a less urban cargo bike, have you considered the Load 75 (by the same company as the Packster)? It's built with touring in mind (longer distances, varied landscapes), double suspension option means you and your cargo are comfortable no matter the terrain, and the battery makes the distance downright pleasant to cover. A lower centre of gravity means it's more nimble & fun to ride than the Packster in my opinion. Here is video comparing the two ruclips.net/video/02M_ydns3Gc/видео.html (shameless plug, although legit helpful I hope!)

Wow... After so many complaints, R&M still managed to put that notorious flimsy piece of cheap junk port cover at an even more vulnerable position. Can't believe the chase of profits could be displayed in such shameless manner. Shame on R&M.

Have seen these type of bikes around South Dublin , and with children in them ... really seems quite dangerous way to transport kids around - the bikes that I saw looked quite wobbly at times - as if the rider hadn't full control of the thing. Is it appropriate to be promoting these for transporting children? Fine, if you're moving boxes of tomatoes !

Thanks for your comment. We should all work towards a road network where transportation like this show be safe to be on the roads. I've not heard of any accidents involving them yet where there are numerous car accidents every day.

Pretty standard mode of transport for children in many parts of Europe!
