Dive Exploration in Timor Leste

Without a doubt one of the inspirations for all dive operators to be in Timor Leste is the opportunity to explore new sites or to re discover and understand sites we don't visit regularly, some of those were the legendary sort of sites that one hears tales of from those diving here on the early days of this young nation.
While the world pandemic hit us hard just like most of the world, affectively shutting down international arrivals we were still fortune enough to have each other and thanks to a great handling of things by authorities we managed to go through very few full lockdowns, therefor allowing us to move around and dive still.
So, of course, we were super exciting to take on this opportunity to get most dive operators in Timor Leste together for this expedition, exploring sites on Atauro Island, West of Dili, around Dili and East of Dili. All in all great diving as expected and by consequence able to add a all bunch of sites to our roster.
Is a true virtue to live in a place where you can basically jump anywhere and have a great dive, just need access to the site and off you go, beautiful reefs filled with marine life will be waiting for you.
