This is my favourite song that Anthony sings in “the Main Event”. His voice is not only silk but has a depth to it. I always get chills when I hear this. Great reaction Mike💖💖

Anthony Warlow was chosen to record this song from the musical, 'Dr. Jekyll And Mr. Hyde', over thousands of other singers from around the world. That's how talented Anthony Warlow is! It is the moment in the musical where a choice has been made made between darkness and light, and the light is chosen. We have all experienced that through our own free will and choice. I just love the cry in his voice. It touches my heart, and for me the tears flow.
One of those thousands of other singers was the great Michael Crawford.😊 Anthony was chosen to sing the dual title role of the original Broadway recording of Jekyll and Hyde and “This Is The Moment” has now become a staple in his repertoire. He just kills it!
@@mssuziquzi Yes, I watched the video of Anthony Warlow being taken through the song by the American producer. Anthony found it hard work, as was not on stage, to visually express the dark personality of Mr. Hyde, as he had only his voice do so. He did it so very well in the end - as his singing shows.
@@barnowl5774 Yes, I saw an interview with Anthony where he spoke about it. It wasn't easy either switching back and forth from one character to the other.
"The light is chosen?" Not so much. This is the moment where he follows his ego and hubris, testing his formula on himself to prove that he was right. The entire point is that while he talks about helping people, he is ultimately driven more by his own ego than by altruism.

Once again a great reaction. We will have to start you on the John and Tom Jones concert after you finish everyting on this one. I only have the cd for that concert ...don't know if there was a DVD but the whole concert is one line and was another terrific concert ....
If you can get to see it, then you need to look for the Australian Opera version The Pirates of Penzance with Anthony playing the pirate king, he plays it as Captain Jack Sparrow, so so funny
