These days I feel like Abercrombie is the older early 20s sister that moved to a big city and is going to grad school/getting her first job, whereas Hollister is like the little sister in high school that lives in Cali and surfs/longboards in her down time. Very much related but for sure slightly different vibes

Not sure if anyone has offered up this suggestion yet but I own a few shirts like that green crochet one and I always wear them backwards. I don't feel too comfy being that exposed in the front but I love how the twists etc. look so I just switch it around !! It'd be worth a try to see if you may like wearing it like that with a cute bralette before returning it ^6^

1.) Red is your color omg it looks so good on you especially with your hair color!! 2.) For the blue/greenish colored crochet top you should deff keep and just wear a nude colored bandeau/tank top under it bc it looks so super cute on you and the nude color will be less harsh under it
Also I loved the green sweater and white pants on you, so many cute looks here and I hope you’re able to size down! Maybe next time you try a new brand you can get a couple different sizes so you can accurately see what size you are and have some things fit? Hollister has def turned the corner!! I LOVVEEE them for basics I just did a huge haul from their clearance online and I never thought I would shop from them again!
if you look up chico’s tiered skirts, they have quite a few options! they’re not all maxi but it could be another lead into the perfect skirt!
Yes to adjustable waist bands! I really struggle to find trousers that fit as I carry more weight in my tummy, and my weight fluctuates so much. If it fits my waist, it normally looks insane on my legs, and vice versa. Sick of the stigma of stretchy waist bands being for ‘older people’, not just people that want to be comfy!
I went to the mall and decided to try out Hollister. I couldn't believe it. I found more things and fit in more things at Hollister than I did at American Eagle. Times have really changed since middle school😳
I LOVE LOVE LOVE how Carrie talks about the struggles that come with having a bigger body, a thing I often miss in fashion videos. They are like this is cute and wearable and I’m like, I can’t wear that bc it will be hella uncomfortable, f.e. Mini skirts - - - chaaaaaafeeeee!!!

I LOVE this videos, I enjoy all your content in general. Shopping for clothes is always a struggle for me. Either things don't fit or they dont fit the way I thought it would. So it is encouraging to see I'm not the only one. And seeing the comments of people relating is great!! 💕
The green crochet "lace-up" sweater would be gorgeous over a little dress ... coverage for air-conditioned restaurants and just a cute look. I have a lot of sleeveless little "swing" dresses and sometimes I get a little chilly or the dresses are a little plain ... I love something like that sweater to complete the look.

If I had the little tie front sweater, I'd probably put a bralette or bandeau under it that was in a complementary, but opposite color, like yellow or pink. That way it is still short, so your skin shows, but it looks like it is meant to show underneath.

Love the wide legged light chino pants! Easy to adjust length using hem tape, taking the pants to a dry cleaner for hemming, or watching a RUclips video to hem them yourself, for free! Blind hem stitch is great!

I love watching your content but I’m hoping it takes a turn towards actively discouraging over consumption. We’re all guilty but realistically how many clothes can we physically wear and wear out until they are no longer usable? I purchase a few of the lace cami tank tops this morning! I remember them being super popular when I was in middle and high school, was so fun to see them again! I made sure to get the XXL. I will say the sizing is a bit small and not a real true to size XXL (I have a Hollister pullover I bought last Fall and it’s form fitted but comfy enough)
I am also mid size, I can do a L or XL in most tops. Bottom I’m anywhere from an XL-XXL just depends. Super pear shaped lol. Being in between is so hard 😂

I have noticed on the UK site that there are some xxl stuff appearing which is fab news for me and I love their curvy jeans. Fits so well but wish they did a bit more styles in my size
