- today we're trying on affordable & size inclusive bathing suits from OLD NAVY! as a midsize / plus size / size 16 person, sometimes i struggle finding swimwear and bathing suits that make me feel confident, comfortable, and covered but still cute and stylish. i decided to do a massive try on haul of old navy's swimwear in a size XL - and i won't spoil anything but WOW. hope you enjoy xoxoxo

I agree it looks very cute but as a larger busted girl I totally get why you say it is not for you. If they put in some structure and added a bit more fabric at the cups and made the straps thicker it would be comfortable for a larger bust. As it is the chance of a boob flying out somewhere are just too large.
I totally understand the fear of falling out of that pink triangle top but just know it looks mad cute on you. Honestly, though, they all looked great and I'm amazed at how consistent and successful this haul was! I don't usually shop at Old Navy but I think I need to look at their swimwear now

As soon as you said the one-piece was (9:15) chicken fights and beach volleyball approved, I thought, "Ahh so it's a Sierra beach-day approved swimsuit! I love both of your channels, so this felt like a fun crossover. I'd love to see a vlog-style element to these try-ons where you actually wear them to the beach or pool and let us know how they hold up. I know you don't keep all the suits/clothes you try on, so maybe just add the vlog element for the suits you know you're keeping. :)

I’ve had really good luck this year with Coral Reef Swim for size inclusivity and it wasn’t too expensive compared to other brands I’ve tried. Really liked the amount of options and seeing models of all different types on their website made me feel good.

They all look amazing on you!! That pink one is HOT and you look gorgeous in it. If you're uncomfortable add a sheer cover up or kimono. I honestly gave up on Old Navy suits so I'm happy to see them being so great this year.

I went in person and had to try on so many different sizes bc I had no idea what would fit me. I’m 29 and my body has fluctuated so much over the last few years. It made me so happy to find bathing suits that are cute and that I feel good in!! Made me feel good my own skin!! So thank you so much for sharing and being vulnerable with us during your try ons 💗 It’s inspiring!

I just got my old navy order that I placed after watching this video.
The first suit Carrie tries on it seriously so comfy. It’s fully lined and a bit softer than traditional swim fabric. Also comes in a few styles. And of course everything is still 30% off. Highly recommend

I recently went in store and found two tops I love! One has that orange and lemon print with a cute open back, the other is the same cut as that light orange simple bandeau but in a palm tree print with a black background. Looooove the slight longline!

Yes!! I love Old Navy’s swim, I buy so many suits every year. Also this year they expanded to different type of swim cover ups which are also great. I will say I usually hate the boob pad covers, so I replace the with push up ones I get from Amazon.

I liked the light orange or apricot one with the bandeau top best on you. It looked so nice with your skin colour and light hair.. 🤩 I personally don't like one-piece swimsuits, so the citrussy one was my least favourite.

Old navy is always my go-to for jeans that I know will fit me well and won’t cost me my whole paycheck ❤❤❤ idk why I don’t think of them for swimwear but now I def need to check them out and try some different styles on

You have every right to feel comfy in any swimsuit you're wearing. But OMG that pink suit. I immediately was just thinking, "BADDIE". You looked incredible in everything and we love a fabulous lady showing us size inclusive, affordable options. But I will say, objectively, you look so good in the pink swimsuit. Idk how to validate your feelings while also telling you that any self consciousness you are feeling about that pink suit is entirely in your head. You look amazing. Sending you so much love!

Omg! They literally had a sale yesterday $10 for top and $10 for the bottom. I was contemplating on getting the lime green one then I passed, but today I saw you wearing them and I wish I had bought them when they were $10 😭
I feel old navy is more on the vanity size side, which I shouldn't care about but I do like. I do gift old navy items and I know, it shouldn't matter but somehow you make larger gals who care too much about the size, feel better about the fit.

the pale pink bikini is probably my favourite on you, it's so pretty and i think the triangle top suits you so much! i'm about your size but have a larger chest than you and wear triangle bikinis a lot and they never slip off for me unless it's like very rough surf in the ocean. it might help to practice wearing a triangle bikini at home just with pants on, to get used to it? because honestly you look so cute and you should be able to wear whatever you want!
