Thank you for another very enjoyable and informative video, Walter! I appreciate that you spoke some of the use of leek for Laguz. This is something that has always intrigued me, and has been widely dismissed by most runologists. I even saw where one of those who did speak about it, Wolfgang Krause, dismissed as an "eccentric academic" which I felt was offensive towards someone who was one of the most eminent runologists of the twentieth century! Also, I love your accent, and your pronunciation of the word paradigm was priceless! I pronounced it that same way for quite a while until my younger brother corrected me...sometimes I still pronounce it that way for my own amusement, and the consternation of my sibling.
Thank you. As you might have guessed, English is not my first language, and now I will go and look up how to pronounce paradigm properly 😂. I will talk a lot more about the leek in my video for Laguz, and I agree. There are several of artifacts that use a lingle Laguz rune in a way that is similar to the way that the power word Leek was used. Probably the Laguz rune was sometimes used as a substitute for the word Leek.
