I'm 42, haven't been depressed since my early 20s, life is good, I'm completely content, but man I still love emo. This song was always one of my favorites. The music we love in our 20s seems to be the music we end up loving for the rest of our lives.

Every time I hear this song I just think of the time my friends and I ran up a hill singing/screaming this at a cross country practice. The rest of the team thought it was hilarious and the coaches had that look of “why are these the kids we’re in charge of,” but it was just one of those fun, spur of the moment, random things that you never forget. A few months later we went to the cross country end of season party where one of our group somehow hijacked the music at the end when people were leaving and played this. Everyone started laughing because they knew what was coming as we sang together one last time since two of us were seniors and that was our last year together.
