Dude you just saved my JOB!!!! I came online to find a duplicator for 96 40cm tall chess pieces I have to turn out for a customer and believe me ever with a template they are not turning out the same! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!
This is great! The only improvement might be to use one of those 3 tooth wheels on the angle grinder since it has a thinner kerf and will give a more precise initial cut than the chain saw style disc.
I have a small bench top lathe and I definitely want ... No no, NEED one of these. But I am not smart enough to make one, even if you gave me the plans for mine.
Brilliant! Only one thing I would add is a Finishing Toolholder platform, incorporating a 35 deg ISCAR VNMP/G insert to eliminate all the "MANUEL" touch up with the Tool rest and all that FALDERALL??
Do you think this device can be used to build a pool cue? A pool cue shaft has a diameter of two centimeters on one side and one centimeter at the end. The length of a short is almost 70 centimeters. The problem is that the wood is thin and so may deflect under lateral load.
So dangerous, I would never do it. Use the tool for what is made, that is why there are no attachments like that in my country. They would never be approved and pass the safety tests.

That was hilarious! You did an awesome job on the legs!
This is both genius and hilarious

4:16 Yikes! For added safety I would also use a foot pedal switch.
Actually, the hair in the beginning was nice. IMO

Muito bom!
Parabéns.
how did you make the pattern?
So do u center the template to the center of the lathe ? And do u have to avoid carving the square areas where the apron goes?
For a second I was thinking, I don’t know what country this guy is from but we might have to go to war with it. Glad that’s not his real voice.

Yeah this might help for sure
Nice job. I think the only improvement that I would make is make the sled pointer out of aluminum.
4:16 Scary. Second improvement would be to use a foot pedal switch for added safety.
Who do you say to watch on utube in the beginning of your tutorial?
