there is one card i use for my labrynth deck...its called "Dark Sacrifice" its a normal trap that says "If card(s) would be destroyed, negate the effect and then send 1 lvl 3 dark (in labs case a fiend Torbie, or Candle) monster to grave" its a foolish burial + negate. + it goes hand to hand (pun in tended) with Lord of Heavenly Prison) since both the trap card and Lord has similar "no back row destruction"
My tech labrynth cards are insane too - Non agression area trap, Dai Dance and Ritual buster trap (Complete Lockdown) - Branded engine trap with despian starters (To extend play the extra deck with fiend-type despian fusion monsters {Quaeritis, Proskenion and/or Masquerade}) - Curse necrofear with Evil heroes engine Labrynth has a lot of playstyle variations not as much as Branded engine but it's worth to take a journey with it, I can't wait to make more new decks with Labrynth 😤👍

You're right about Gastly glitch (Ash can stop it, I hate that card), or even worst Farwelcome, cards that I'm running on my deck; I'll reconsider making space for other traps like Needle ceiling & Overroot But my reasoning for those traps was cause I'm playing Tindangle - Labrynth (with x3 furniture lvl 2/3, and "Subterror Succession" as the main trap, since it sends own monster as effect, so would trigger all Labrynth cards)... yet sometimes I was forced to summon a flip on attack to have a fiend on the field Haven't heard a "Pokemix" in a while; thanks for the video
Labrynth became my favourite deck, topping Branded despia and I love that you introduced me to witch strike... so satisfying to wipe out negation effects😂😂 Ps: keep it up coz the algorithm led me here😉
Witch's Strike can be good if the Adventure stuff gets too popular again. But as of now, it only counters Swordsoul or Munin and maybe a random Ghost Belle in the Mathmech matchup.
@@lip124 i would avoid trap cards that requires having a monster on the field, eradicator is an exception since it has many good matchups, becuz if u go first against mathmech u win anyway and if u go second idk if ull ever be able to have a monster on the field against mathmech with that factorial set

i thought about that but didnt wanna run chaos hunter since it cant special summon itself against floo then i would have to run ghastly glitch to dump it into the GY for the field special eff which i dont really like using becuz getting a face up fiend early on is not as easy as it sounds due to ash negating welcome most of the time and then it would just be a dead card for a few turns, and if u look closer, the matchup that iron wall is good against r branded floo and runick, in all those 3 matchup, ice dragon prison really sucks and in the matchup that ice dragon prison is good in aka mathmech, iron wall almost does nothing so it makes perfect sense, i gotta be careful about trap trick and pot of e as u said but worst come to worst i can always snipe my own wall with welcome and also i can always just... not activate it at the wrong time, its a good sacrifice i would say :D
Yea, that's the issue. Why I don't run evenly or ice prison, iron wall shuts 2 different types of cards off. I would rather run both solem strike and judgment in case I don't get heavenly, I have judgment.
Iron wall hurts your opponent than you and you could always use it after using evenly that you should use it first anyways same with the pot since you cannot use it after doing something else
naisu :D altho barrage is quite tricky, its texts say "when" so if ur opponent notices that and chain something in between, u wont be able to chain barrage unless what they use to chain is also a normal trap card
Witch's strike is a hilarious card to run in this deck, but respectfully I find this decklist to be slightly bricky. What would you suggest to make it more consistent?
i think u should take a look at the newest labrynth vid with the decklist for the spright meta, this one was still mathmech/runick month, altho i would say that if its that bricky it wouldnt have reached diamond facing meta decks time after time
i only run ash in combo decks since it serves the duo purpose of stopping maxx C while also an interuption if need be, for a trap deck like this unfortunately it doesnt do enough, u could run called by but normally u wont see in in trap decks
@@masterduel4free45 i get that. But Most of the Times If i am being second then i really want Ash in my Hand If the opponent gets their Combo Starter into a Board with 4 to 5 interruptions. Have called by, ash Version and a non handtrap Version and somehow that one with✋ traps feels much better or is more succesful
@@ghosty9051 personal preference i guess :D cuz i actually ran more handtrap in labrynth b4 but unless it was against branded, my ash either only ate a called by which is not that useful (if the deck ur using gets heavily affected by called by then its a good thing tho) or it did absolutely nothing due to them always having extenders so i resulted in running torrential and witch's strike + evenly instead

terrors is a non destruction removal and it puts 1 monster back on their field oftenly and that will help trigger ur labrynth cards since most of them benefits from removing a monster off the field specifically, if they dont have any monster on their field u cant trigger em
@@lchidan2782 i would have to disagree on that cuz overroot is actually the only card that can reliably get rid of runick fountain which allows to play the electrician game against runick, compulse might not have the best impact in terms of removing the opponent's stuffs but its actually one of the traps they still use even in the latest version of labrynth recently becuz it can scoop your own monster which comes up quite often granted, in my latest vid of labrynth in MD, i had to take out compulse for a lot of other stuffs due to spright being the omni present and compulse is not that great against those

I don't know why this is so popular, the current meta deck is tearlaments and destroying their hand and board just triggers 6 chain links and loses you the game. Fun idea, terrible in the current meta

I think it’s a fair card for being so powerful, but people opt to not use the card because it’s just a normal trap card.
