Please more of these kinds of videos in and about Denmark. I’m American but 3 generations removed from Copenhagen. I’ve been to Denmark and trying to learn customs I wasn’t taught. Thanks.
I was there about two weeks ago and it was incredible maybe my favorite single thing in Denmark. The casemates were a real thrill pitch black in places, low ceilings, uneven floorings, quite a challenge for someone 6'5" like me. Brilliant. One tip is the free 'tour' is just a speech that doesn't move at all, I missed the English one and so did it in Danish which was quite useless for me. There are incredible views from the top of the tower. Overall a fantastic day trip!
@@destinationwellknown haha but really I think it's really cool that they have this kind of live performance there. It's performed at different times and places in the castle so people can explore and watch the play. Another place that I like is Bakken. Maybe it can be an idea for your next video 😁
Mange tak Kristoffer. Vi besøger Helsingør i august. We went up as far as Louisiana last summer. Now that's a fabulous place and you should definitely do a video about a visit there. Great art, wonderful location, and really great restaurant.
Daytrips: Roskilde to see Viking ships and sail in one. Roskilde Cathedral. A little further out there is Sagnlandet i Lejre. Perhaps A little underrated. A little expensive, maybe. Up early and take the train to Odense. One and a half hour. If going on the net and buy the ticket, it can get fairly cheap. Sometimes 99 kr. In Odense you can see Railway museum, in spitting distance from Odense station. A new H.C. Andersen museum, very interactive. South in Odense there is Den Fynske Landsby. It is a open air museum, with real old houses. Usually animals and a tour in a horse carriage.
Hiya! Frederiksborg Castle would also be a pretty epic day trip from Copenhagen. However, I would prefer to go to Elsinore and Kronborg Castle if I had to choose. Kronborg is a much bigger castle, and its importance to the history of Denmark/Scandinavia is undoubtedly more significant than Frederiksborg Castle. Elsinore is also a much cosier town than Hillerød, where Frederiksborg Castle is located. That's my opinion anyways ✌️
Yes denmark’s content we want
I’ve actually made 2 new videos about Denmark since this one 🤝🇩🇰

Thanks for your comment - I’ll make sure to go out and explore a bit more of Denmark over the summer 🇩🇰🤝
This is on my list of visits this summer. Woo hoo.
Literally the perfect place to go on a day trip from Copenhagen in the summertime 🤝🇩🇰

Fantastic video looks like a perfect day trip. Really like your presentation style and content, Kristoffer.
Thank you so much - what a lovely comment 🙌
@@destinationwellknown Hi Kristoffer, yes please, would love to see more content on Denmark like this video. Cheers, Paul.
Deal 🤝
One of my favorite. There was Hamlet live performance when I visited and I got to talk to the king and the queen (actor and actress of course) lol
Oh that must have been so cool! I’m sure the actors were probably more interesting than our actual king and queen tbh 😅

I'm visiting Copenhagen (from Canada) in July and I'm trying to decide between a day trip here and a day trip to Frederiksborg Castle. Any thoughts?

@@destinationwellknown thank you! for the train up there, can i just buy tickets the day of or should this be something i buy in advance?
@@OriharaKaoru You can just buy on the day in the ticket machines or in the "DSB App"
Well, Frederiksborg castle is even closer to CPH,
and castle it self is larger, also well maintained,
both is absolutely worth a visit.
hey Bro are you from denmark?
Yes Sir 🇩🇰
