I agree, Alan - the twist throttle is perfect, especially during long rides; I have realised that the thumb throttle in my other scooter makes rapid finger fatigue.Mukuta 8+ It's a great city scooter.

Great question! Here's a quick breakdown on how the battery security works:
NFC Card Activation: Each scooter comes with a unique NFC card. You'll need this to start the process.
Unlock & Access Menu: Press the 'M' button to unlock the scooter and enter the menu.
Menu Navigation: Use the 'up' button to navigate to option 1 on the display.
Power Down & Release: After selecting, turn off the scooter. This triggers the battery to unlock.
Battery Removal: Now, you can easily remove the battery.
This design makes it impossible for someone to steal the battery without the NFC card. Hope this helps you.
