- Part of a quarter peal of Grandsire Caters on the fine 1945 Taylor 10 at St Mary's Southampton.
St Mary's has a beautiful ring of bells which go very well indeed. The sound control may have made them a little mushy on our latest visit and they are a little oddstruck, but once tuned into they are a joy to ring. Would happily ring another there.
Special thanks to Euan for providing the Zoom audio clip.
Absolutely stunning.
Stunning bells deserve to be ring stunningly and in this video they were.
Would loved to have simply been there to listen quarter
You wouldn’t be able to hear much with the sound control shut.
Absolutely wonderful ring of bells - magical and full of memories for me. Would like to return for some better ringing at some point
These are just amazing!! By far one of the best 10's I've heard and probably some of the best striking on RUclips. That tenor as well! Another one in the bucket list
These are a very good ring of ten! They are the sister rings of Evercreech and Mount St Alphonsus, Limerick. Nobody talks about limerick and they are the hidden gem in Ireland!
Great video, and nice to have these on YT again. They're a fairly local ring of ten to where I am, and I honestly think they're one of the best hidden gems on the South Coast. I fell in love with these bells the moment I first pulled off here. Thanks for sharing!
My Favourite 🤩
