If you were to go in, I'm sure you will leave without your wallet, or scammed by being overcharged for your food/drinks, or leave with a disease. I've never been inside those businesses but have read the sex workers in them are typically not Japanese, they're trafficked in from other countries in South-East Asia or China. @@gytan2221 Your country has very high standards then, This video shows the area to be very respectable for a nightclub area compared to British standards. Here there would be fighting, emergency services, rowdiness, people being sick from too much alcohol etc.etc.
The one thought I keep having watching these tours is how we saw thousands of faces, we'll likely never see a single one of them again, but in average each one of them will go though 75 or 80 years of random Tuesday afternoons having all the daily thoughts, fears, dreams and experiences of a lifetime, each their own. Be kind to one another. We're all going though the same thing.
I would be very happy to live in this unsafe area. In comparision to Tokyo, Hamburg in Germany feels like Mos Eisley on Tatooine in Star Wars during the dark times.
An excellently shot video footage. It didn't look unsafe at all. There were plenty of people outside just minding their own business. The atmosphere looked relaxed and friendly. The streets looked much cleaner than in the most safest parts of London.
When I was In Roppongi, the Nigerians would run up to me to pimp girls: “I got white girl, I got black girl, I got Asian girl”. As long as you were nice and cordial, they didnt kick up a fuss when you said no.
When I lived in Tokyo the only time I didn't feel safe was in some parks where sometimes a flying huge cockroach (the type that live outdoors only) would turn up...
It’s my dream to go to Japan someday . I wish for it to be sooner rather than later but I’ve always been in love with Japan & its culture & people. My life would be complete if I got to go there for a few weeks or even move there if I had the chance.
I just got back from Tokyo and stayed in Shinjuku. I don't think there is an unsafe zone unless you go looking for it. Or follow a tout. The touts are very obnoxious. Plus I think every ward of Tokyo has a giant Gundam to protect the citizens.

These are the people you don't see during the day and come out to larp at night. Its for sure safer than every other major city at night. The area with all the trash looks like a VR chat room.
i feel this is pretty normal. It's just what happens outside clubbing/entertainment streets in the CBD of big cities late at night. If you go clubbing a lot, then hop between clubs it's always like this outside regardless where you go.
Clearly, you've never walked through any major UK city after 6 PM, let alone 3 AM. It's refreshing to see a country that puts its own native population first.
Do not go to Brussels in Belgium, it is the hellhole; New York is safer by night than Brussels during the day. Today in the news on the radio, until today, December 8, there have already been 97 shootings in Brussels. That is an average of 8,08 shootings each month.
For a moment I thought this was Hakata, Fukuoka. I was walking late at night and the streets looked kinda like the beginning of the video. I’ve had a few people try to call me towards their bar- but I could literally see them approaching me from a distance, so I just move to the other side of the street lol. *I didn’t get called as much- I don’t look Japanese myself, why is this?*

We're all going though the same thing.
at 5:19 what was that girl hand signaling to the guy?
I would be very happy to live in this unsafe area. In comparision to Tokyo, Hamburg in Germany feels like Mos Eisley on Tatooine in Star Wars during the dark times.
i love how the most unsafe place in japan are like 100x safer than the safest place in america/canada
nice interesting walk again JE, well done and thank you 😊
Absolutely Loved Every Minute
Looks a lot safer than any large city I've seen. Night or day.
An excellently shot video footage. It didn't look unsafe at all. There were plenty of people outside just minding their own business. The atmosphere looked relaxed and friendly.
The streets looked much cleaner than in the most safest parts of London.
My guy has to come to New York to feel what unsafe truly is.
Maybe 20 years ago.
Nowadays New York is safe, nearly the whole of brooklyn in gentrified. Queens is getting there.
Beautiful 😍
When I was In Roppongi, the Nigerians would run up to me to pimp girls: “I got white girl, I got black girl, I got Asian girl”. As long as you were nice and cordial, they didnt kick up a fuss when you said no.
I'm surprised by all the Nigerians working as pimps for the escort agencies.
It’s a shame
I'd say yes if they were pimping boys
This already looks 10times more safe than the safest district in my country.
When I lived in Tokyo the only time I didn't feel safe was in some parks where sometimes a flying huge cockroach (the type that live outdoors only) would turn up...
Safer than Vegas. Safer than San Francisco. Safer than LA. Safer than Portland. Girls are much cuter, slim, and feminine. My kind of vacation spot.
My air BnB was like 5 mins walk away from Shinjuku. Loved it.
Their unsafest zone looks like Disney Land compared to some unsafe zones here ..lol
As a lifelong American, this looks clean, safe and positive. Kudos.
16:57 at left side, there is a red Ford Mustang GT (1999-2004) also known as the "New Edge" Mustang.
It’s my dream to go to Japan someday . I wish for it to be sooner rather than later but I’ve always been in love with Japan & its culture & people. My life would be complete if I got to go there for a few weeks or even move there if I had the chance.
Tokyo's "unsafest" zone yet a trillion times safer than Chicago, Illinois.
Wow dude. Balls of steel! Seriously, props to you for daring walking these gangzta killa ghetto project slums.
That's looking real safe and pleasant right now.
If that’s how it is as 2am it must be jam packed during the day!
Still looks better than safest zone in USA
Don't be afraid, child.
We know
Reminds me of my time in Tokyo. Totally safe everywhere you go 😊
I just got back from Tokyo and stayed in Shinjuku. I don't think there is an unsafe zone unless you go looking for it. Or follow a tout. The touts are very obnoxious. Plus I think every ward of Tokyo has a giant Gundam to protect the citizens.
Amazing! I did not see a single person who was more than 10 pounds (4.53 kg) overweight until 13:22! The Japanese really know how to take care of themselves
These are the people you don't see during the day and come out to larp at night. Its for sure safer than every other major city at night. The area with all the trash looks like a VR chat room.
The "unsafest" zone still... very safe. One of the many nice things about 日本.
Its is actually safer than my home country @15:00PM
Japan exemplifies hope for humanity
the most dangerous and usafest place in Japan at 3AM looking like the most safe and nice place in Latinoamerica
Baik sekali anda sudah berbagi suasana kita dimalam hari yang begitu indah, saya suka sekali videonya
i feel this is pretty normal. It's just what happens outside clubbing/entertainment streets in the CBD of big cities late at night. If you go clubbing a lot, then hop between clubs it's always like this outside regardless where you go.
I never felt unsafe all by myself when I visited Japan no matter what time it was and place
13:25 Tokyo so beautiful night 😊😊
Very nice 👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤
Seriously 3am? There are so many people our it's crazy!
Looks safer than the safest place in Birmingham to me.
What exactly is unsafe about this place? It seriously feels a thousand times safer than standing in my front yard in broad daylight, lol!
There are several black guys.
super nice 👍👍👍👍
Japan is so beautiful
It is unsafe because of it's full of cute girls.
We stayed near Shinjuku/ Kabukicho area in Spring 2023. Didn’t feel the place was unsafe at all. It was so lovely ❤
That is an average of 8,08 shootings each month.
this is such a vibe
still one of the safest zones in the globe lol
I see more guys walking around. Good tour though! Looks safe AF.
Are you white
Seems pretty nice, clean and safe to me, it's all about common sense, and respecting the locals, just like any other place you go as a tourist.
It seems like Tokyo has more beautiful women per square mile than NYC.🙂
And of course far more camera-toting gaijin wankers.
@5:32 what's with the girls holding up what looks like home made banners?
3 am 😮
This part 5:06 reminds me of a scene from Blade Runner 2046 (new)
