For Girls Like You - Happy Birthday Message from Alena

As we continue to celebrate Wynter’s 40th birthday (January 29th), we end with words from her eldest daughter, Alena.
Alena is the walking, talking, relaxed embodiment of Wynter’s true self.
She is incredibly gifted but is down to earth.
She is quiet but confident.
She is well-rounded and enjoys running just as much as she enjoys writing. She’s competitive in any sport she tries, but is thinking quietly how much she can’t wait to get home to create art.
She has continued her mother’s dream and heart for travel and for naps. And would definitely consider both as full-time hobbies.
She loves the Lord with her whole heart and her favorite verse is: In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:8

This is so beautiful. In the quest to learn how to parent my 12year old daughter in a Godly where, the Lord led me to the past focus on the family sessions with your parents. Your mom's legacy lives on through your beautiful. I think you look most like her. Perhaps you'll visit Kenya and engage the youth here. Food for thought.
