Would you guys chose the HTC U 11's camera over iPhone 7 or Galaxy S8? 😮 or maybe you think the One Plus 5 is better? - ruclips.net/video/LInflBKFS-k/видео.html
She doesn't even mention noise in the photos which the U11 had a lot of in the night pictures (look at the sky in all the pictures at night in 1080p and you'll see it). How can she be on point?
Adil Husain *No offense bro* but you can't say this with confidence ! BIG corrections : detail is not the same with sharpness. detail is the amount of information fit in square pixels of a specific area. sharpness is made by local contrast (at least two colours in a specific area. you will never never be able to know if a picture is sharp or not if you take a picture of a plain white sheet, etc) don't confuse in-focus image with sharp image too. out of focus image will still look sharp. even bokeh (blur background) is still sharp eventhough the focus is on the subject. just simple explanation, you can see more and clearer explanation on any photography website. clear, sharp and in-focus picture are different too. clear image has to do with exposure. if you underexposed your image, it will never look clear. and don't be fooled with smartphone camera that includes heavy post-processing built-in. the more the post-processing, the easier it is to destroy your image (meaning you can't edit the picture as you please. except you just want to shoot and post it)
I love your reviews, you always give to us all the information of the devices we need to know. Keep going! You're one of the best who makes reviews of tech devices. I really like to see your videos.
Another fantastic review! The U11 looks REALLY GOOD. And, ya the camera looks great too. When you unboxed the U11 I was like OMG look at THAT. That phone is THE shiniest ever. I am content with my LG G6, but HTC has me thinking.
Hi Krystal! For me, the photo winners for each shot were... 1. S8. 2. U11. 3. U11 by a hair, but I liked the S8 shot as well. 4. Almost a tie with the S8 catching the sunset better, but the U11 having less blur on the water. 5. (Mark Twain) Real close. iPhone brings out the color of your hair, but Mark has less contrast and I can tell that the shutter speed was slower. HTC had sharper contrast on Mark, and I loved your smile but that has nothing to do with the camera! All of them were pretty good. 6. iPhone 7 Plus, though your skin tone is a little cool considering the warm light of sunset. S8 pic is just wrong! 7. (Box Jewelers clock) S8. 8. I would have to assume that the sign is the subject, and in that case, the 7 Plus takes the win with a clear sign. However, the S8 brings out the sky better. 9. (Small fountain) U11. 10. Tie between the 7 Plus and the U11. I like the iPhone balance and color in this shot, but the U11 is sharper with more detail. Look at the leaves and small branches above the movie camera to the left. 11. S8. And now I have to open a window because it's suddenly hot in here. 12. U11. 13. (Polar bear) U11. 14. S8 by a long shot. The U11 needs to use the OIS more and cut back on the ISO. 15. S8. All in all, a very good comparison with a thoughtful range of shooting scenarios. Krystal, I'm glad I don't know you because I would get diabetes just being in the same room. Stay sweet!
I prefered the low-light photos of the Galaxy s8, as i don't think you lost any detail with the slightly darker pictures. After all, these were photos taken in a very dark setting, and i don't see anything wrong with the Galaxy s8 showcasing the real difference between lit up areas and darkened areas, because it didn't really seem to lose any real detail while doing so. I don't want pictures taken at night to look like they were taken during the day, as that doesn't even remotely represent the environment that was snapped a photo of.
I'm dying to see what your take on the U11 camera will be. Because according to my experience it's the king of overexposure, in scenes where there's no lights to overexpose its great. HTC needs to fix that. You'll probably afto use it in manual mode to get the best results. That DxOmark score is not really legit, unless they tested it using strictly manual mode. The pixel, iPhone & S8 is better & more consistent in auto mode.
I have the galaxy S8 and I think it's the best. Sometimes it does put a crazy warm hue in a photo but I think it's because it's so sensitive to light changes it tries it's best to compensate and give you the best photo. It is the best camera on a phone I've ever had next to my old Galaxy Note 5.
Galaxy S8 still the best. It doesn't brighten the image in the dark just to make the colours pop which in turn makes more noise like we're seeing in u11 n ip7. But yeah HTC has made some massive improvements gotta admit.
bruhs fer days DXOMARK doesn't equal to real world use or real world camera performance. the HTC u11 cranks up the brightness too much and doesn't always get accurate colors and loses a lot of clarity and detail...
In my opinion, I really love the Samsung Galaxy S8 not just because I have it. I love the lowlight pictures. I don't really care about it crushing the dark areas, in fact I actually like it that way because you'll have an idea on what time of setting this picture was taken. My most favorite part of the camera of the S8 is how the colors on the S8 is so vibrant and eye-catching and plus, a more, pleaing picture to look at. I really love how the colors pop and I love how vibrant it is, not to the point where it's too much. This is only my personal opinion, so don't confront me or anybody in the comments who liked the Samsung Galaxy S8 better than the HTC U11, because, like what Krystal said earlier in the video, it is only through personal preference. Whether you want a more natural and faded look, then the iPhone 7 Plus is perfect for that or if you like a natural but colorful look, then you should get the HTC U11. Lastly, if you prefer a more eye-catching yet very vibrant look, and also very sharp, then the Samsung Galaxy S8 is perfect for that situation.
Douglas Jhonatan I've got both devices. It depends entirely on the situation for still photos, but video on the u11 is better than the pixel. The u11 sometimes over exposes photos.
I would say the iPhone 7 Plus camera is better described as “balanced” rather than “natural”; greens are equally saturated as blues and earthy tones like orange, yellow and red, where as many other phone manufacturers accentuate the greens and pull back slightly on the pinks and oranges. Therefore I find iPhone so do better when capturing sunsets/sunrises , while it trails slightly when capturing greenery.
I have used U11 and S8 in low light and I noticed S8 was way better than U11. S8 is low light king till now but the pictures you showed in video i cant believe its of S8. It was bias. S8 still king in camera.
Costas En Garde No, she very clearly says "there is" without using the contraction "there's" (which is a contraction-- so once again the words being contracted are "there is").
The most ideal camera comparison video that I like ! Could you compare lg v40 vs galaxy note9 & lg g7 vs galaxy s9? I wonder why there isn't any updates of your camera comparison video..
Oh I love your camera comparisons. You look so amazing in any photo Krystal. In my opinion I loved the iPhone and Samsung S8 photos best and the new HTC comes in Last. X
The only bad thing with this test is the product timeline. The HTC is half a months out, S8 is 3 months out, iPhone 7 is 10 months out. I think for the iPhone being 10 months old does a pretty good job. I wish Apple would make the selfie camera a wide angle.
The HTCU11 absurdly DOES have a portrait/Bokeh mode automatically. It's that ultra fast selective focus. Just poke the image you want it to focus on on screen with the green targeting circle. Auto HDR makes it the best.
Looks like the U11 wins overall but you are right the selfie camera is the weaker of the three. Not sure how I feel about the squeeze function but it is something different. I can appreciate that. Great vid! you never disappoint. 👍
How is distorting reality on low light shots the way to go? If I take a picture at night, I want it to look like it was taken at night and not like it had flash on...
I think we can all agree that we're at a point now that it doesn't matter what phone we choose in 2017 the flagship cameras are all fantastic. We now need wide angle lenses.
The U11 brights up the image in low light but at the cost of noise and overexposes bright areas and losses detail in bright eareas in low light images.
Uuu, HTC did great job. Hopefully they make their UI more user friendly. But to be completely honest. Galaxy S8 kinda suprised me. I'm always like Sammy's camera is ok but I don't always love the pictures. This time over all I like it the most. Thanks Crystal. Great job with this comparison.
...Even the HTC 10 after the software updates is better than it was after initial launch... Then I met someone whom had a U11, and the images were awesomely sharp just on auto shoot alone!
Hi Krystal! I like your phone cameras comparisons. Any chance that you take a look at the Sony Xperia XZ Premium? I heard the camera really is amazing on this one.
I think it was a toss up between the iPhone and the U11. Basically it just came down to the situation. The S8 camera was a little too warm for my liking. You really can't go wrong with the iPhone or U11's camera.
As of now, HTC U 11 is the best cellphone in terms of camera performance and it tops all pretty clearly. Even though I often doubt DxOmark's ratings, I'm absolutely OK on their current no.1.

Wow the U11 back camera is astonishing.
Are you gonna do a full review of it Krystal?
Great Video as always :)
RCSantos hello there Mr. Bond ;) !
I'm surprised people's comment! hTC U11 is winner. I don't understand why people choose S8, most of you should use glasses. lol
It's beautiful rather than realistic... So if u're ugly, u can make yourself attractive with s8 aesthetic camera
I think the Galaxy S8's camera is beautiful. You don't understand? Maybe you should be the one wearing glasses, plus you need a check-up really badly.
S8 pertty good
Krystal ur camera comparisons are on point 👌
haha thanks! 😄
multiple points actually :D
She doesn't even mention noise in the photos which the U11 had a lot of in the night pictures (look at the sky in all the pictures at night in 1080p and you'll see it). How can she be on point?
markthaddeus I agree it really makes me wonder if some of these reviewers get paid by these companies
markthaddeus
what noise , I watched the video on 1440 p and the u11 actually shows the tall tree in the background

I love your reviews, you always give to us all the information of the devices we need to know. Keep going! You're one of the best who makes reviews of tech devices. I really like to see your videos.
htc 10 had a better selfie camera than most flagships today. man why did HTC take a step back with the front camera.
Siddharth K.Sekher just because they took out the OIS doesn't mean the camera became inferior. Yeah it sucks but it's still an awesome FFC.
Cuz selfies r gay lol
To be honest. Best camera reviews I have seen by any RUclipsr. Keep doing an excellent job girl!

I think the HTC U11 is over the S8 and 7PLUS but not always
Le-Barge97.1 ;D no it doesn't it had a lot overexposed photos And non accurate colors

Andrew Smith they already fixed it.

I actually own the U11 and the detail you end up getting is comparable to the Pixel. They're both way better cameras than the S8 and OP5.
tech random tv DXO is very accurate and the HTC U 11 takes the win
What camera app did you use on the iPhone 7 from 4:50 that doesnt look like the stock camera app.
Owyebo thats the htc

love Krystal videos !❤❤
agreed
Douglas Jhonatan I've got both devices. It depends entirely on the situation for still photos, but video on the u11 is better than the pixel. The u11 sometimes over exposes photos.
Yes the Pixel is not so good in video recording, but looking at the other comparisons I really liked Pixel mainly in selfies.
+atl3630
not to mention its last year flagship.wait until Pixel 2 then compare.2017 to 2017
Htc manufactured the pixel tho
I would say the iPhone 7 Plus camera is better described as “balanced” rather than “natural”; greens are equally saturated as blues and earthy tones like orange, yellow and red, where as many other phone manufacturers accentuate the greens and pull back slightly on the pinks and oranges. Totally prefer the iPhone 7 on the first pic (selfie), the other two make u look like a ghost

OMG!!! Never thought you would reply...but thanks for showing that you love your worldwide fans...you also looked beautiful like always
I'm *not* a simple man
I have used U11 and S8 in low light and I noticed S8 was way better than U11. S8 is low light king till now but the pictures you showed in video i cant believe its of S8. It was bias. S8 still king in camera.
Paras Khanna That's what I'm thinking when watching this video
Her opening line " There is a lot of great smartphone..."
*There are
yup. stopped watching at 0:01
"There's a lot of great smartphone cameras out there" is what she said. And it's grammatically correct. Back to school kiddos.
DrewManGroup WW did you look at your incomplete sentence up top?? Fail!!
Costas En Garde No, she very clearly says "there is" without using the contraction "there's" (which is a contraction-- so once again the words being contracted are "there is").
Beau Bernier Yes, it's correct. Not sure what you're on about.
unbiased reviewer of all time
keep up the good work
With comparing and without discuss always IPhone 7 Plus is the best
Awesome comparison as always!
Can't wait for you to test the Xperia XZ Premium!
Can't beat realism it's that simple. Can't get any better than what you see with your eyes
The most ideal camera comparison video that I like ! Could you compare lg v40 vs galaxy note9 &
lg g7 vs galaxy s9? I wonder why there isn't any updates of your camera comparison video..
HTC U 11 wins by a big margin...
Oh I love your camera comparisons. You look so amazing in any photo Krystal. In my opinion I loved the iPhone and Samsung S8 photos best and the new HTC comes in Last. X
Are you paid by htc? Clearly s8 was better in many photos than htc u110
rob aggarwal hahahaha you need your eyes checked
The King haah need not to take any sort of advice from you bruh!
The only bad thing with this test is the product timeline. The HTC is half a months out, S8 is 3 months out, iPhone 7 is 10 months out. I think for the iPhone being 10 months old does a pretty good job. I wish Apple would make the selfie camera a wide angle.
Kinda clickbaity. You don't need that, girl.
How is that clickbaity? The video is about exactly what the title says. Best camera between the three phones
:@FrogSqueal
i agree with you
But I can't wait to see what your comparisons bring forth.
I'm a complex man
The HTCU11 absurdly DOES have a portrait/Bokeh mode automatically. It's that ultra fast selective focus. Just poke the image you want it to focus on on screen with the green targeting circle. Auto HDR makes it the best.
I'm gonna be honest, I like tech and all but I'm only subscribed to see this beauty
Looks like the U11 wins overall but you are right the selfie camera is the weaker of the three. Not sure how I feel about the squeeze function but it is something different. I can appreciate that. Great vid! you never disappoint. 👍
Proudly saying PIXEL camera is the best smartphone yet.
Rahil Bhimjiani no
Are you taking the pictures with flash ?
Galaxy S8 is THE BEST EVER !!!

are you blind ?
I'm a samsung fan too but please dont be stupud. Galaxy s8 is NOT the best
Tom Foolery s8 is the best phone I bet you never play with it

Fuck the phone I'm here to see krystal
surprised the iphone 7 plus wasn't on par with the others. i wonder how samsungs dual camera set up will do. all your pix look cool.
Samsun s8 is first, HTCU11 is second and iPhone is third
How am I trolling, its just my personal preference, it doesn't mean i'm wrong
TechL you are a samsung fanboy as htc is the best
TheShinyMidnightLycanroc im honestly not, if I had to choose a phone it would be the one plus 5t
Krystal omg your videos are so much helpful 🙌🏽💯👌🏼
I love your videos and you are so cute
How is distorting reality on low light shots the way to go? If I take a picture at night, I want it to look like it was taken at night and not like it had flash on...
I think iPhone is the best, in my opinion.

Steven Warren yo blind
I think we can all agree that we're at a point now that it doesn't matter what phone we choose in 2017 the flagship cameras are all fantastic. We now need wide angle lenses.
s8 and 7plus is better
The U11 brights up the image in low light but at the cost of noise and overexposes bright areas and losses detail in bright eareas in low light images.
Which phone would you recommend for showing off makeup pics on social media?
Uuu, HTC did great job. Hopefully they make their UI more user friendly. But to be completely honest. Galaxy S8 kinda suprised me. I'm always like Sammy's camera is ok but I don't always love the pictures. This time over all I like it the most.
Thanks Crystal. Great job with this comparison.
...Even the HTC 10 after the software updates is better than it was after initial launch... Then I met someone whom had a U11, and the images were awesomely sharp just on auto shoot alone!
Hey Krystal! Is it possible for you to post, or make a link to some hi-res low light image shots taken between these cameras?
any chance on a HTC u11 review in the works?
