This is one of my favorite - if not THE favorite - albums of all time. It is so joyful, and full of emotion.

I've just been steered to Robert Reed by a very good friend, who knows me well and understands me and my musical tastes.... This is a breath of fresh air !!!!..... People (including myself 😮) are always harping on about the prolific Prog years and how current music is ALL shite !!!..... IT'S NOT !!
In the past several years we've had an amazing array of yesteryears artists creating some wonderful new albums.....
YES - MIRROR TO THE SKY
STEVE HACKETT - The Circus and the Night Whale
JON ANDERSON (& Band Geeks) - True
DAVID GILMOUR - Luck & Strange
TELEGRAPH - MIR (if you like Camel... check this out)
And now I've found ROBERT REED
I hope that Mike Oldfield endorses these Sanctuary albums...
These are great reminders of the
    wonderful Return to Ommadawn
Mr. REED. you, Sir, are an extremely talented and gifted musician, and 2023/24 has brought 70s proper music back to life... 👍👍👏👏👏

Robert Reed basically went and continued where Mike Oldfield left off to do other sorts of music after Tubular Bells II (1992). The man has emulated the whole Mike Oldfield Sound Universum with great precision, from the synths and the drums, via the chants to the flutes and the guitars. There's even present "long metallic hanging tubes". Wow!

He's got the guitar tone and phrasing down to perfection. There's a QE2 vibe in here at the start. It's like a lost Mike Oldfield album that somebody found in a vault! Simon Philips on drums too!!!!
