I was on fire a year and half ago and I was on fire for a year then I slipped and haven’t recovered 100% since. In Jesus name I will stand and run to him! I rebuke the sin in my life in the name of Jesus Christ
This kinda funny because i been a Christian for 1 year and half(starting of 2018 to middle of 2019) then i backslided for 4 years and beggining of this year i been slowly getting closer to God( or God was getting closer to me) and i actually repented and living for him now. I backslided because when i started working i was the only Christian on the job it seems and i guess i wanted to fit in, so i started drinking and partying ect. And it took me down a very dark part, to the point i was cursing God and wanted to become a warlock for the devil. Now am just praying that i don't make this same mistake and backslide or become lukewarm for whatever reason
This is all true to everyone watching, I was recently battling anxiety and intrusive thoughts very strongly. I grew up in church so I’ve never dealt with this type of problems I just heard of them. In recent years I’ve pulled away from the Lord and he revealed to me that this anxiety was because of all the music that I was listening to everyday, alcohol and cigars. That gave permission to the enemy because I opened those doors. To make the long story short I started listening to nothing but worship and praise music everyday, I’m also in constant prayer throughout my work day. Best decision I’ve ever made; if you’re watching this it’s time go back to the Lord before it’s too late.
The spiritual warfare is very real, when I first gave my life to the Lord it definitely was very easy that is until I let my guard down and started to listen to worldly music again and even fornicated. I knew that the Lord was warning me not to do these things but I still did it that ended up opening up demonic doors in my life, and needless to say God allowed me to suffer the consequences for my actions, I was listening on worldly music listening to the wrong voice that "there is nothing wrong with it it's just music", I ended up thinking about things that are very worldly I found myself worrying about worldly things in life, the man that I was fornicating with ( was my boyfriend at the time) we both found out he had HPV AFTER we had intercourse so now I'm dealing with a STD aswell (never had one!).. I can definitely say not just by reading the word of God but also by my personal experience, that we need to live according to how HE wants us to live! Not WE, I want to do!! I cannot stress this enough I try to warn my neighbors but sadly we live in a fallen world and so many don't want to hear the truth they'd rather continue to live in a lie. After all God is our creator so he knows what's best for his creation, and if we just trust in his ways and follow after Jesus we will not find ourselves in these messed up situations. Just trust in him stop sinning! It's for your own good! But yes God delivered me as well from anxiety in fact I had social anxiety I had depression I had hatred in my heart, I was once lustful, I fornicated, I did drugs and the Lord delivered me! And as of now, with the STI that was passed down to me from my (then boyfriend) I believe God forgave and is helping him and I! We both wanted to get married so we did just that to show the Lord that we are truly serious and we want to be honest with him! And as of right now I'm also working I'm trying to stop listening to worldly music and it does take some time to adjust but I know I can do it if I did it before! @@kbro7484 I think it all depends on you and your relationship with God, and what kind of secular music you’re listening to, there’s definitely bad and worst. and also I feel like the enemy would leave you alone for a while and make you feel that everything is ok, that there’s nothing wrong with listening to secular music, in my case I was obsessed with an British artist who actually sang about depression, drugs, loneliness, mental health and spiritual stuff and so on. In my case, I was obsessed with a British artist who actually sings about depression, loneliness, anxiety, mental health, parties, spiritual stuff, and so on. But I was so obsessed with his music that I couldn’t stop listening to it and I just ignored some of the lyrics but still listen to it, but after a while, I suddenly started feeling anxious and having panic attacks, so when I got into prayer God revealed to me that that was part of the problem so I repented and and I stopped listening to that music for good.
Yes God wants us to pray his words back to him through JesusChrist, because our words are worthless to God, but his words are from heaven which God delights in.

Prayers for my son, he was clean from alcohol for the last 2 years , and now he starting drinking alcohol again. He has alot of medical issues. As a mother, this makes me very sad.
Father, we place before You this dear person's son who is struggling. We first lift them up as the longing parent waiting for their wayward child to return. That You would grant them Your peace in this storm. Fill them with Your expectation. We pray for Your deliverance for the son from anything that sets itself on the throne of his heart. It is the throne You paid to redeem. We ask that this son would grow to hate the very thought of alcohol. That any future sips of alcohol would make him sick. That he would equate taking in alcohol, in his mind, to willfully ingesting human waste. Free him Father, to serve You in Spirit & Truth. Grant him and all of us the hunger & thirst for You, & a devotion to You like never before. In Jesus' Name we ask & thank You for what you are going to do. Amen.
@@sleepyhollow783 Prayer is great but on top of prayer he needs understanding and discernment. People turn to alcohol and compulsive habits as a way to escape some underlying feeling of negativity. As humans we're conditioned to flee pain by using the short-term pleasures of the flesh be it alcohol, drugs, sex, pornography, gambling, video games, television depicting worldly desires, etc to the point where these activities become behavioral snares. Robbing people of precious time by entrapping their minds in a cycle of sin. To help the son they need to understand the reason why he turns to alcohol. The stress trigger that compels him to thoughtlessly drink. Then he needs to replace that drinking habit with something uplifting and turn to God to help him resist falling back to impulse. Praying is an excellent start but her son needs to be present to hear it to inspire his own spiritual change and transformation from within. I too struggle with addiction to pornography and violent/spiritistic video games but once I realized that I used them to compensate for feeling disconnected and a lack of social intimacy and came to they conclusion that they'll never satisfy that need it was easier to stop. Sometimes I'm tempted as I'm human but the underlying recognition makes it easier to catch myself and ask "How is this benefitting me in the long-term?" to pause in a moment of reflection and turn to better activities. The capacity to pause and think is everything when battling demonic addictions. It guards against compulsive action that'd hold us spiritually and mentally enslaved to fleshly inclination and worldly temptation.
Tell him to get back to sobriety. Many people that are sober now had slip ups. Tell him you got his back but that he has to put in the work to stay clean. Ask for God's help ànd forgiveness. Show your son some of these videos, he talks about how he got clean in other videos.

I've been following Jesus for about 6 months now. You're so right. The beginning was easy, then I met a woman at church and "bit the hook" I started to fall away. I pray the Lord provide me with the strength to follow him wholly for the rest of my life.

BELIEVE LIKE A CHILD Is it perhaps your desire to enter the kingdom of heaven? Do you wish you had certainty about it? Here is what the Lord Jesus had to say about it: "Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein." Luke 18:17. What did Jesus mean by these words? Notice that Jesus said, "receive" the kingdom; He did not say "work for" or "earn" the kingdom. How then can we be sure to receive the kingdom of God as a little child and truly enter therein? To know what Jesus meant we have to understand how a little child receives, since this is what Jesus requires of anyone who wishes to enter the kingdom of God. Have you ever noticed how a little child receives things, let's say from his parents or grandparents? Think about it for a while. By observation we know that little children receive without any inclination that they ought to EARN or DESERVE what is given to them. It does not occur to them that they should first become worthy or deserving. It is clear that little children always receive in humility and without reservations. Little children truly know how to receive a gift. They display an absence of pride and self-sufficiency; they simply receive without works and without merit. They do not feel that they first have to earn or deserve what is given to them. They do not measure themselves by their own performance and try to judge whether they should be considered worthy of the gift. They do not think to bring the question of their own merits or goodness into the equation. This, dear friend, is the simple point that Jesus was making. He is saying that this is the way that we need to receive the greatest gift that anyone can ever receive -- the gift of eternal life in His kingdom. The reason we need to receive it as a little child is because, try as we may, we can never earn or deserve it through our own merits, goodness or performance. God Almighty is holy and righteous and cannot look upon sin; His standard is perfection. Even if we have failed only once in our lifetime to fulfill even the smallest commandment in the law of God, we fall short of that perfection. The Bible states that: "All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). We all have failed to keep God's moral law, the 10 commandments perfectly; we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. We can never change our imperfection and make ourselves acceptable to God by trying to be good. Isaiah 64:6 says: "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." God is holy and righteous and therefore has to punish sin. The Bible also reveals that God is love and does not want anyone to be damned to an eternity in hell. So the Creator Himself chose to become flesh and to pay the penalty for our sin, which is death. John 3:16-18 states: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." By simply trusting wholeheartedly in the finished work of Jesus, who lived a perfect and sinless life and died for our sin on the cross, and by receiving this free gift of the forgiveness of sin and eternal life by His grace, anyone, regardless of what terrible sins they may have committed, can be be born again by the Spirit of God and receive the gift of eternal life. This is how good God is: He was willing to take the punishment for our sin upon Himself. He is unlike anything that we will ever encounter in this dark world that has been marred by man's rebellion and sin and Satan's subsequent evil dominion. God created mankind with a free will to choose for themselves what they will and will not believe, and what they will and will not receive. He will never force His love and gifts on anyone. He will never force anyone to have a relationship with Him. In His mercy and love He offers it but still allows everyone to choose to receive it, or not to receive it. The Bible says that God is love. He is a God of mercy and grace. Mercy means that we do not get the judgment, condemnation and punishment that we deserve. Grace means that we get all the good from God that we do not deserve. God is both -- He is both merciful and gracious. Our human pride is what leads us to think that we somehow have to earn or deserve God's favour and gifts through our own performance, good conduct and meritorious deeds. But that is deception. We tend to reason that we first have to become 'good enough' before God would forgive us and accept us and allow us entrance into His kingdom. We don't realise that God requires perfection. So we focus on ourselves instead of on what Jesus has done for us through His perfect, finished work on the cross and the complete payment He has made for all our sins, past, present and future, through His blood sacrifice. To receive what Jesus did for us requires humility and faith, both of which is found in abundance in a little child. Thinking that we ought to merit the things of God will actually prevent us from receiving them, for it is contrary to the way a little child receives. It CANNOT be earned by us. It was earned on our behalf by what Jesus Christ has done for us and we just have to receive it as a gift. If indeed we could earn it then it would mean that we would have opportunity to boast in ourselves. Yet, our imperfect performance can never satisfy God's standard of perfection. The only way that we can receive eternal life in the kingdom of God is to receive it from Him as a free gift. It is not available to us in any other way. We can never earn the things of God. The Bible makes it very clear: "For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). Having said all this we can see how our human pride can be a major hindrance to our receiving from Him, not only the free gift of eternal life and the complete forgiveness of our sins that would secure our entrance into the kingdom of God through being born again, but everything else that we need and that He has provided for us by His grace in Christ; things like healing, provision and blessing. God is truly a good, good God. But we can only receive from Him if we are willing to receive as a little child. My earnest prayer is that you do. God wants us to trust in Jesus like we would trust a parachute. Only His perfect work on the cross saves us from God's righteous judgement on our sin. Believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again from the dead on the third day and God will impute the righteousness of Christ to you and make you a new creature in Christ. P.s. Titus 3:4-7 "But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." Romans 10:9-11,13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. @@truthbtold6118 we are saved by grace through faith, not by what we have done. It is also a one-time irreversible event like your earthly birth. Rightly divide the word between salvation (a gift) and discipleship (costly). Preaching Hell to the saved and lost does not work for soul-winning. The saved have nothing to fear about Hell because the faith alone born again cannot be lost, they have now been found and sealed until the day of redemption. If you don't believe that, you call God's promise a lie. The lost, if they hear preaching of Hell and condemnation - and are told they must stop sinning to be saved (works) - inevitably stop listening and they should, as this is a false works-based Gospel. Repentance is simply a change of mind. Faith in Jesus saves, not repentance and faith. If you have gone from unbelief to belief you have repented. Trust in what Jesus has already done, not what we do.
Im isolated at my brothers helping to take care of our mom im not from California, i keep my eyes in Gods books and try to pray in the middle of the night i get to church when i can, there is alot of mind control here and manipulation, from my brother and his girlfriend and they do to try to telle how to live my life. When i get a chance im out of here i have job to do And God is going to use me mightily. But right now i got to read i got to study
I have grown in faith as I've gotten older. Thought I was putting God first but now realize I was putting things I was interested in ahead of God. I pray that God sees my efforts to grow in Him and seeking His righteousness. Satan hides a lot of those distractions and wants to accuse us before the throne of the Creator. Asking forgiveness for my spiritual blindness.

That's the problem with folks they are trusting in themselves to be saved. Focus on Jesus repent and believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ 1st CORINTHIANS 15:1-4. That's real man. Jesus knows what's up. That's why HE spoke about lust. He created women, but also told men that if you even think about them in an overt sexualized perverse way, then He must die on a Cross. Because we are fallen and transgress everything He made. Jesus did the heavy lifting. They are your distant cousins man, they are ribs of your ribs....Love them and look at them as family from another family. Would you do your sister like that? No. You would not. Then don't treat your distant cousins like that either. They are the weaker vessel looking up to you.

Walking with Christ is a discipline, if you get lazy, even just not praying regularly and not being in the word daily, and I know because I did, you can easily backslide or fall victim to doubt and temptations of the flesh. It’s so easy. You have to make time for God.

Thank God for you, for making this video, brother. 16:40 hit. Ever since my big bro passed away last year, my anxiety has been bad. Sometimes I would be anxious and stressed for no reason... hard to sleep.. hard to eat.. overthinking thoughts.. the devil in my head with intrusive thoughts.. I picked up drinking.. sometimes I want to cry and scream from the stress and anxiety.. I clench my jaws and got TMJ jaw and joint pain in my face from stress.. depression... laziness.. tightness of throat and chest.. shortness of breath from anxiety... etc... It wasn't until recently when I started turning back to the LORD and casting my cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7) that I started to feel better since before my brother's passing; I was never experiencing this anxiety or stress. But God is good!
Brother i thank God that i'm still alive and that his grace is that big. I preached online but i was not ready for it. I preached foolishly. I reaped what i planted. In the meantime i thought that i'm following Christ. I was deceived and double minded. All because i had a lackluster prayer life.

I have always reasoned that if the Lord blessed me with a husband and I went to bed and got up every day without opening my mouth, during the day I didn't talk to him, it's only a matter of time before that relationship will destruct. Plants, loved ones, friends, animals and more assuredly, God needs to talk to us and need us to talk to them to sustain and grow that relationship. Thank you for this message and I agree being committed to God and being still and making time to hear from Him is vital to fight.

I cannot tell you the power of God’s presence when I am in the humble prayer posture, worshipping and then praying on my knees. The focus on Him alone. The peace and joy in consecrating that time with God alone. Nothing compares.

A year ago I was very faithful and felt deeply at peace. I’ve since fallen away and I feel spiritually dead. I used to feel a connection, like a physical presence near me as I prayed, as though the Lord was standing behind me, and I would tear up because it was the first time I’d felt true peace in my life. Now, I feel nothing. I heard once that when King Solomon fell away from God, God left him forever. I fear deep down that I share his fate, and no matter how much I pray I will never be with God again. I’m not looking for pity or sympathy, I am just hoping someone here will have some advice or wisdom. I feel most of the people in my life don’t truly know God or won’t tell me what I need to hear.
Hi my name is Debra, as I was reading what you are saying I can relate some. I fell away from the Lord, just consumed by life. And I believe by the Grace and Mercy of GOD the Holy Spirit started drawing me back to him. But it seems like the harder I try the farther I feel from Him. Last night I came across a video that really gave me some clarity. It made me realize just because we can't feel GOD'S presence doesn't mean he's not there. We all want to feel HIS presence to confirm our Faith, BUT that's not really Faith. Maybe if you watch some of these videos it may help you as you walk with the LORD. I want to save this and send it to people that are struggling in my life or people that I think that need this type of message. It's amazing how God can use someone and you don't even have to be up on the stage you just have to stay in prayer and in the word. That's the key to the Christian walk. I found your channel! I remember I seen your video on how to rebuild engine at home. I found it interesting because I want to learn how to rebuild engines, cars are my passion. Dear family Please research Genesis 1:14. Read it. Dissect it. The first truth is to acknowledge that it, Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God and it has not been "nailed to the cross." Point is, God has a Time/calendar that sits in the heaven where no man can tamper with it. He ordained it in the beginning of creation before He gave commandment to keep the seventh we day Sabbath or any of His appointed times. We cannot say that it does not matter what calendar we use to calculate the Sabbath, when God has already given us a calendar. Today, there are still Sabbath/ Sunday blue laws on government books. It is a great possibility that God may allow the nations to enforce these laws again in society, but in a greater degree this time around. These "Sunday blue laws" are calculated by man's time not by the Time God ordained in Genesis 1:14. There is nothing new under the sun. God used nations before to prove His people to see if they will hearken unto His commandments. Judges 2:20-23 & Judges 3:1-4 Every day God's scattered people are being tested to see if they will keep His laws or No. Do not take this truth likely. Research it again. There will be a famine for the word of God. People will look for it, but it will not be there one day. Now, if any claim to be a servant of God and continue to hold on to tradition above what God commands, then, their worship is in vain. Their worship to God is useless. God does not accept it. Read Mark 7 The last gospel in Revelation 14 to be preached upon earth is to be heed.... ...Worship Him that made heaven, earth and sea, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, whosoever worship the beast, his image and receive his mark will have no rest day and night and should be destroyed in the presence of the lamb and the angels by fire and brimstones. Remember, days are by the lights in heaven, Genesis 1:14. God's Sabbath is calculated by the sun, moon and stars. Knowing this truth or any other truth will keep a person from being deceived❤️

This kinda funny because i been a Christian for 1 year and half(starting of 2018 to middle of 2019) then i backslided for 4 years and beggining of this year i been slowly getting closer to God( or God was getting closer to me) and i actually repented and living for him now. I backslided because when i started working i was the only Christian on the job it seems and i guess i wanted to fit in, so i started drinking and partying ect. And it took me down a very dark part, to the point i was cursing God and wanted to become a warlock for the devil. Now am just praying that i don't make this same mistake and backslide or become lukewarm for whatever reason

This is all true to everyone watching, I was recently battling anxiety and intrusive thoughts very strongly. I grew up in church so I’ve never dealt with this type of problems I just heard of them. In recent years I’ve pulled away from the Lord and he revealed to me that this anxiety was because of all the music that I was listening to everyday, alcohol and cigars. That gave permission to the enemy because I opened those doors. To make the long story short I started listening to nothing but worship and praise music everyday, I’m also in constant prayer throughout my work day. Best decision I’ve ever made; if you’re watching this it’s time go back to the Lord before it’s too late.
The spiritual warfare is very real, when I first gave my life to the Lord it definitely was very easy that is until I let my guard down and started to listen to worldly music again and even fornicated. I knew that the Lord was warning me not to do these things but I still did it that ended up opening up demonic doors in my life, and needless to say God allowed me to suffer the consequences for my actions, I was listening on worldly music listening to the wrong voice that "there is nothing wrong with it it's just music", I ended up thinking about things that are very worldly I found myself worrying about worldly things in life, the man that I was fornicating with ( was my boyfriend at the time) we both found out he had HPV AFTER we had intercourse so now I'm dealing with a STD aswell (never had one!).. I can definitely say not just by reading the word of God but also by my personal experience, that we need to live according to how HE wants us to live! Not WE, I want to do!! I cannot stress this enough I try to warn my neighbors but sadly we live in a fallen world and so many don't want to hear the truth they'd rather continue to live in a lie.
After all God is our creator so he knows what's best for his creation, and if we just trust in his ways and follow after Jesus we will not find ourselves in these messed up situations. Just trust in him stop sinning! It's for your own good!
But yes God delivered me as well from anxiety in fact I had social anxiety I had depression I had hatred in my heart, I was once lustful, I fornicated, I did drugs and the Lord delivered me! And as of now, with the STI that was passed down to me from my (then boyfriend) I believe God forgave and is helping him and I! We both wanted to get married so we did just that to show the Lord that we are truly serious and we want to be honest with him! And as of right now I'm also working I'm trying to stop listening to worldly music and it does take some time to adjust but I know I can do it if I did it before! @@kbro7484 I think it all depends on you and your relationship with God, and what kind of secular music you’re listening to, there’s definitely bad and worst. and also I feel like the enemy would leave you alone for a while and make you feel that everything is ok, that there’s nothing wrong with listening to secular music, in my case I was obsessed with an British artist who actually sang about depression, drugs, loneliness, mental health and spiritual stuff and so on. I used to listen to him everyday and nothing happened until suddenly I started feeling anxious and having panic attacks, that’s when I repented and stop listening to that when God revealed to me in prayer that that was part of the problem.

Something I learned is that, prayer is simply talking to God.

Prayers for my son, he was clean from alcohol for the last 2 years , and now he starting drinking alcohol again. He has alot of medical issues. As a mother, this makes me very sad.
Father, we place before You this dear person's son who is struggling. We first lift them up as the longing parent waiting for their wayward child to return. That You would grant them Your peace in this storm. Fill them with Your expectation.
We pray for Your deliverance for the son from anything that sets itself on the throne of his heart. It is the throne You paid to redeem.
We ask that this son would grow to hate the very thought of alcohol. That any future sips of alcohol would make him sick. That he would equate taking in alcohol, in his mind, to willfully ingesting human waste.
Free him Father, to serve You in Spirit & Truth. Grant him and all of us the hunger & thirst for You, & a devotion to You like never before.

@@sleepyhollow783 Prayer is great but on top of prayer he needs understanding and discernment. People turn to alcohol and compulsive habits as a way to escape some underlying feeling of negativity. As humans we're conditioned to flee pain by using the short-term pleasures of the flesh be it alcohol, drugs, sex, pornography, gambling, video games, television depicting worldly desires, etc to the point where these activities become behavioral snares. Robbing people of precious time by entrapping their minds in a cycle of sin.
To help the son they need to understand the reason why he turns to alcohol. The stress trigger that compels him to thoughtlessly drink. Then he needs to replace that drinking habit with something uplifting and turn to God to help him resist falling back to impulse. Praying is an excellent start but her son needs to be present to hear it to inspire his own spiritual change and transformation from within.
I too struggle with addiction to pornography and violent/spiritistic video games but once I realized that I used them to compensate for feeling disconnected and a lack of social intimacy and came to they conclusion that they'll never satisfy that need it was easier to stop. Sometimes I'm tempted as I'm human but the underlying recognition makes it easier to catch myself and ask "How is this benefitting me in the long-term?" to pause in a moment of reflection and turn to better activities. The capacity to pause and think is everything when battling demonic addictions. It guards against compulsive action that'd hold us spiritually and mentally enslaved to fleshly inclination and worldly temptation.

Tell him to get back to sobriety. Many people that are sober now had slip ups. Tell him you got his back but that he has to put in the work to stay clean. Ask for God's help ànd forgiveness. Show your son some of these videos, he talks about how he got clean in other videos.

I've been following Jesus for about 6 months now. You're so right. The beginning was easy, then I met a woman at church and "bit the hook" I started to fall away. I pray the Lord provide me with the strength to follow him wholly for the rest of my life.

BELIEVE LIKE A CHILD
Is it perhaps your desire to enter the kingdom of heaven? Do you wish you had certainty about it? Here is what the Lord Jesus had to say about it:
"Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein." Luke 18:17.
What did Jesus mean by these words? Notice that Jesus said, "receive" the kingdom; He did not say "work for" or "earn" the kingdom. How then can we be sure to receive the kingdom of God as a little child and truly enter therein?
To know what Jesus meant we have to understand how a little child receives, since this is what Jesus requires of anyone who wishes to enter the kingdom of God. Have you ever noticed how a little child receives things, let's say from his parents or grandparents? Think about it for a while. By observation we know that little children receive without any inclination that they ought to EARN or DESERVE what is given to them. It does not occur to them that they should first become worthy or deserving. It is clear that little children always receive in humility and without reservations.
Little children truly know how to receive a gift. They display an absence of pride and self-sufficiency; they simply receive without works and without merit. They do not feel that they first have to earn or deserve what is given to them. They do not measure themselves by their own performance and try to judge whether they should be considered worthy of the gift. They do not think to bring the question of their own merits or goodness into the equation.
This, dear friend, is the simple point that Jesus was making. He is saying that this is the way that we need to receive the greatest gift that anyone can ever receive -- the gift of eternal life in His kingdom.
The reason we need to receive it as a little child is because, try as we may, we can never earn or deserve it through our own merits, goodness or performance. God Almighty is holy and righteous and cannot look upon sin; His standard is perfection. Even if we have failed only once in our lifetime to fulfill even the smallest commandment in the law of God, we fall short of that perfection. The Bible states that:
"All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).
We all have failed to keep God's moral law, the 10 commandments perfectly; we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. We can never change our imperfection and make ourselves acceptable to God by trying to be good.
Isaiah 64:6 says:
"But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."
God is holy and righteous and therefore has to punish sin. The Bible also reveals that God is love and does not want anyone to be damned to an eternity in hell. So the Creator Himself chose to become flesh and to pay the penalty for our sin, which is death.
John 3:16-18 states:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
By simply trusting wholeheartedly in the finished work of Jesus, who lived a perfect and sinless life and died for our sin on the cross, and by receiving this free gift of the forgiveness of sin and eternal life by His grace, anyone, regardless of what terrible sins they may have committed, can be be born again by the Spirit of God and receive the gift of eternal life.
This is how good God is: He was willing to take the punishment for our sin upon Himself. He is unlike anything that we will ever encounter in this dark world that has been marred by man's rebellion and sin and Satan's subsequent evil dominion.
God created mankind with a free will to choose for themselves what they will and will not believe, and what they will and will not receive. He will never force His love and gifts on anyone. He will never force anyone to have a relationship with Him. In His mercy and love He offers it but still allows everyone to choose to receive it, or not to receive it. The Bible says that God is love. He is a God of mercy and grace. Mercy means that we do not get the judgment, condemnation and punishment that we deserve. Grace means that we get all the good from God that we do not deserve. God is both -- He is both merciful and gracious.
Our human pride is what leads us to think that we somehow have to earn or deserve God's favour and gifts through our own performance, good conduct and meritorious deeds. But that is deception. We tend to reason that we first have to become 'good enough' before God would forgive us and accept us and allow us entrance into His kingdom. We don't realise that God requires perfection. So we focus on ourselves instead of on what Jesus has done for us through His perfect, finished work on the cross and the complete payment He has made for all our sins, past, present and future, through His blood sacrifice.
To receive what Jesus did for us requires humility and faith, both of which is found in abundance in a little child.
Thinking that we ought to merit the things of God will actually prevent us from receiving them, for it is contrary to the way a little child receives. It CANNOT be earned by us. It was earned on our behalf by what Jesus Christ has done for us and we just have to receive it as a gift. If indeed we could earn it then it would mean that we would have opportunity to boast in ourselves. Yet, our imperfect performance can never satisfy God's standard of perfection.
The only way that we can receive eternal life in the kingdom of God is to receive it from Him as a free gift. It is not available to us in any other way. We can never earn the things of God.
The Bible makes it very clear:
"For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Having said all this we can see how our human pride can be a major hindrance to our receiving from Him, not only the free gift of eternal life and the complete forgiveness of our sins that would secure our entrance into the kingdom of God through being born again, but everything else that we need and that He has provided for us by His grace in Christ; things like healing, provision and blessing. God is truly a good, good God. But we can only receive from Him if we are willing to receive as a little child. My earnest prayer is that you do.
God wants us to trust in Jesus like we would trust a parachute. Only His perfect work on the cross saves us from God's righteous judgement on our sin. Believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried and rose again from the dead on the third day and God will impute the righteousness of Christ to you and make you a new creature in Christ.

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

@@truthbtold6118 we are saved by grace through faith, not by what we have done. It is also a one-time irreversible event like your earthly birth. Rightly divide the word between salvation (a gift) and discipleship (costly). Preaching Hell to the saved and lost does not work for soul-winning. The saved have nothing to fear about Hell because the faith alone born again cannot be lost, they have now been found and sealed until the day of redemption. If you don't believe that, you call God's promise a lie.
The lost, if they hear preaching of Hell and condemnation - and are told they must stop sinning to be saved (works) - inevitably stop listening and they should, as this is a false works-based Gospel. Repentance is simply a change of mind. Faith in Jesus saves, not repentance and faith. If you have gone from unbelief to belief you have repented. Trust in what Jesus has already done, not what we do.

I have grown in faith as I've gotten older. Thought I was putting God first but now realize I was putting things I was interested in ahead of God. I pray that God sees my efforts to grow in Him and seeking His righteousness. Satan hides a lot of those distractions and wants to accuse us before the throne of the Creator. He created women, but also told men that if you even think about them in an overt sexualized perverse way, then He must die on a Cross. Because we are fallen and transgress everything He made. Jesus did the heavy lifting. They are your distant cousins man, they are ribs of your ribs....Love them and look at them as family from another family. Would you do your sister like that? Walking with Christ is a discipline, if you get lazy, even just not praying regularly and not being in the word daily, and I know because I did, you can easily backslide or fall victim to doubt and temptations of the flesh. It’s so easy. You have to make time for God.

Thank God for you, for making this video, brother. 16:40 hit. Ever since my big bro passed away last year, my anxiety has been bad. Sometimes I would be anxious and stressed for no reason... hard to sleep.. hard to eat.. overthinking thoughts.. the devil in my head with intrusive thoughts.. I picked up drinking.. sometimes I want to cry and scream from the stress and anxiety.. I clench my jaws and got TMJ jaw and joint pain in my face from stress.. depression... laziness.. tightness of throat and chest.. shortness of breath from anxiety... etc...
It wasn't until recently when I started turning back to the LORD and casting my cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7) that I started to feel better since before my brother's passing; I was never experiencing this anxiety or stress. But God is good!
God will get you through it! Have faith and keep seeking God 🙏

I have always reasoned that if the Lord blessed me with a husband and I went to bed and got up every day without opening my mouth, during the day I didn't talk to him, it's only a matter of time before that relationship will destruct. Plants, loved ones, friends, animals and more assuredly, God needs to talk to us and need us to talk to them to sustain and grow that relationship. Thank you for this message and I agree being committed to God and being still and making time to hear from Him is vital to fight.

I cannot tell you the power of God’s presence when I am in the humble prayer posture, worshipping and then praying on my knees. The focus on Him alone. A year ago I was very faithful and felt deeply at peace. I’ve since fallen away and I feel spiritually dead. I used to feel a connection, like a physical presence near me as I prayed, as though the Lord was standing behind me, and I would tear up because it was the first time I’d felt true peace in my life. Now, I feel nothing. I heard once that when King Solomon fell away from God, God left him forever. I fear deep down that I share his fate, and no matter how much I pray I will never be with God again.
I’m not looking for pity or sympathy, I am just hoping someone here will have some advice or wisdom. I feel most of the people in my life don’t truly know God or won’t tell me what I need to hear.
Hi my name is Debra, as I was reading what you are saying I can relate some. I fell away from the Lord, just consumed by life. And I believe by the Grace and Mercy of GOD the Holy Spirit started drawing me back to him. But it seems like the harder I try the farther I feel from Him. Last night I came across a video that really gave me some clarity. It made me realize just because we can't feel GOD'S presence doesn't mean he's not there. We all want to feel HIS presence to confirm our Faith, BUT that's not really Faith. Maybe if you watch some of these videos it may help you as you walk with the LORD. I found your channel! I remember I seen your video on how to rebuild engine at home. I found it interesting because I want to learn how to rebuild engines, cars are my passion. I also remember you are a man of God. And thats why I started looking for your channel.... At the time I seen your video of rebuilding engines I was with my baby mama. Since she left me I've been going through tuff times but hanging on with the help of God. Now I just started working in a car dealership dealership as a service porter and working to become a service technician. Dear family
Please research Genesis 1:14. Read it. Dissect it.
The first truth is to acknowledge that it, Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God and it has not been "nailed to the cross."
Point is, God has a Time/calendar that sits in the heaven where no man can tamper with it. He ordained it in the beginning of creation before He gave commandment to keep the seventh we day Sabbath or any of His appointed times.
We cannot say that it does not matter what calendar we use to calculate the Sabbath, when God has already given us a calendar.
Today, there are still Sabbath/ Sunday blue laws on government books. It is a great possibility that God may allow the nations to enforce these laws again in society, but in a greater degree this time around. These "Sunday blue laws" are calculated by man's time not by the Time God ordained in Genesis 1:14.
There is nothing new under the sun. God used nations before to prove His people to see if they will hearken unto His commandments. Judges 2:20-23 & Judges 3:1-4
Every day God's scattered people are being tested to see if they will keep His laws or No.
Do not take this truth likely. Research it again. There will be a famine for the word of God. People will look for it, but it will not be there one day.
Now, if any claim to be a servant of God and continue to hold on to tradition above what God commands, then, their worship is in vain. Their worship to God is useless. God does not accept it. Read Mark 7
The last gospel in Revelation 14 to be preached upon earth is to be heed....
...Worship Him that made heaven, earth and sea, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, whosoever worship the beast, his image and receive his mark will have no rest day and night and should be destroyed in the presence of the lamb and the angels by fire and brimstones.
Remember, days are by the lights in heaven, Genesis 1:14. God's Sabbath is calculated by the sun, moon and stars.
Knowing this truth or any other truth will keep a person from being deceived❤️
