I specifically remember the clothes store, the pool party, the park, and the soccer area. Those were the golden days in adopt me. I feel like now there is just so much greed, scamming, even updates, jts not the same anymore.

i joined when it first came out, because it was one of the first games recommended to me on my list. i remember that age-o-meter thing to choose whether you wanted to be an adult or child, renting apartments, having parents buy you stuff, those super sweet mums, and i was always happy when someone comes into the nursery to adopt a kid.

I still remember when adopt me was somewhat a roleplay game, adopting people, or finding people to adopt you, not just trading pets, or scamming. Today the baby nursery pretty much doesn't have any babies in it.

I was playing around roleplaying before the pets! All the updates that have either been around or come around and went away, they were all so wonderful. I remember coming home from school and instantly hopping on adopt me to see the update. And I’m so excited of what’s yet to come!

@XSammyTheFurryX it sure was! It’s quite different now which I really enjoy. There’s so much more to do, instead of just adopting children and having to rent a house with bucks that you have earned, you can trade pets and items, and have a free starter house.

This was very nostalgic for me, I used to play many years ago, the earliest I remember was before the family update when you could only adopt one baby at a tiny and obbies still gave bucks when you completed them, you had to rent houses instead of having your own. Seeing the old map again is so bittersweet. I also remember Anna and my sister and I pretended she was evil trapping us in the nursery LOL
My favorite moment is when the Sandbox island came out! I really enjoy building and with the new building tools it's so much easier and more fun!! Love the new furniture and options, can't wait what else will be added 🤩

My favorite moment in Adopt Me was when I very first joined. Scams were never a thought that crossed players minds, people were not just playing to try and get their dream pet but rather make new friends and hang out with people. Role-play, what this game was designed to be made for. People acting out stories made Adopt Me more fun and interesting by showing players what they could do. Now, Adopt Me's player base is strictly focused on getting "rich" which makes the game a competition and not a community for fun role-playing. Now, I do love how Adopt Me is today but as sad as it is, people are quitting because of getting scammed and the game is unfortunately dying. Adopt Mes trying their hardest to revive it but the amount of people who get scammed each and every day really does affect the player base. Theres truly nothing Adopt Me can do to 100% prevents scams so what it takes is for players to get scammed to learn what not to do and what to do. Like I stated before, I do love how Adopt Me is today, but theirs is nothing like how it was. Not very many players that play Adopt Me today will understand what it is that I'm talking about but Adopt Me just lost its spark that drew in the community's attention to play. This has absolutely nothing to do with Adopt Me's staff because me, as well has hundreds or thousands other understand that they really are trying their best to push out these updates but, its to MUCH to LATE, players got bored, found other games and moved on. Roblox Adopt Me will always have a special place in my heart as it is very nostalgic for me. I wish nothing but success for Adopt Me to relight that spark and make it into flame. That mustve taken ages to write. I agree that scamming is really making some players like the game less, but I might add that I sometimes wonder if its partly because really good things that everybody wants are so rare and expensive that people just want to keep scamming so they dont have to pay for their dream pet or whatever. I dont really trade anyway and it suits me because I never worry about stuff like that. And yes happy birthday :D
How long did it take to type?
For real. We didn’t choose homes, we rented them, and if somebody got the home, too bad. We lived happily and roleplayed as parents and babies (I loved being a baby). Trading changed everything.

I joined Roblox in 2019, so I didn’t experience much of the early years of Adopt Me. However, the funnest update I played was probably the fossil excavation site, I never got bored finding all the fossils and exploring 😊

My fav moment was in the 2019 Halloween update! That was the best update ever in my opinion, and I loved the haunted house, and the whole graveyard area where the playground was. I really hope something like this returns this year!

My favorite moment in adopt me was when I first joined in 2018. Everyone was nice, nobody toxic and there was no scamming at all. Even better...people actually talked without trading and made friends with each other and roleplayed really fun roleplays! I miss those days but this new adopt me is awesome!!
My first day of playing adopt was probably 10 months ago. It was very great seeing everyone hatch eggs! What a pause, I really congratulate you and everyone who has been a fan of PlayAdoptMe, the favorite moment when I got legendary’s. The good pet I have is the Starfish. Finally it changed! By the way. Nursery is very good. If I wasn’t missing it. I truely would agree. The Robo Dog is good but the Safari egg is good. Hope you have a good day! By: xerox lols group Adopt Me is wonderful. My favorite moment in adopt me was when i started playing again after not playing for about two years. i don’t know what it is about adopt me but it can keep me endlessly entertained and ive been playing it for years. its been so exciting to see it grow and evolve into the game it is today!

Been here since the beginning! This game marked half of my childhood and probably the childhood of others. My favorite would probably be the pet update, and mainly the game in 2017. I’ve created so many memories here! My friend and I were obsessed, we even got a few other buddies to play it, and it was amazing. We would call every single day to play adopt me while talking on the phone. I remember well that one of the first pets I got from an egg was an unicorn, and I didn’t know their worth at the time, my friend went crazy when she saw me take out the unicorn and I couldn’t understand why. I’ve made so many memories here and I’m willing to make even more, I’m truly thankful for this masterpiece and I’m sure a lot more of people are.
My favorite memory is actually when I FIRST started playing with my kids on here a few years ago, it was back when the monkeys were out and available! I’ve had so much fun over the years with them playing this game, trading, role playing, you name it. Definitely has made a few big “core memories” for my children and myself. Thank you to everyone that’s made this game what it’s become today!

There were so many changes throughout the years! My favorite moment in adopt me was when my friends, my sister & me were all going crazy! We were going on the sky castle and jumping off the back part. I also enjoyed hatching all the eggs and getting cool pets! My favorite adopt me pet would probably be the 2021 uplift butterfly. It’s really adorable!
Funny thing: one time there was a new update and I just got back from a half day of school & I couldn’t get in any public servers because there was a waiting list! There was about 546K people playing.
Thank you for so many amazing updates. They’re the best! Absolutely recommend to play this game!
Ideas for Adopt Me!
- Add back the arcade, soccer field and city, gym and city hall
- Add the idea to customize the outside of house
- Add more foods and drinks
- Add a style changer which u can change styles of buildings of 2017 or 2024
- Add more buildings to the sky, the only thing is sky castle
- Add a park
- Add a forest on which u can travel mountains and wildlife
- Add more tasks for pets.
This has come a long way! I’m so glad I got to see the old adopt me only for about 1 year until pets came! It’s been a great journey! Can’t wait for more updates!
Christmas 2019 was for me definitely my favorite moment! I loved how everything looked like & I loved the how you would buy a gift and hope for a Christmas egg or something legendary. I also loved the safari, jungle & farm egg a lot!
My favorite memory is probably when I met a really kind person while trading. It was really a great experience. We were doing a flex battle, and they were just so nice during it! After the flex battle, they asked if they could offer for my four dodos (they are a neon maker) and when I told them they were nft because I was making a neon, they were so understanding!!! They were like “oh, it’s okay!” They are, to this day, (even though this was pretty recently) the kindest person I have ever encountered in adopt me, and that’s saying something, because I have been playing adopt me for years now.

I hadn't thought about the past adopt me until recently after logging into my account from when the pets first came out and it made me remember the rp times and how I was upset I took a break while the pink and blue eggs came out so I started playing even more until I took another break which was from jungle egg to fossil egg. Now I'm an active adopt me player and love each and every update that comes out so keep updating adopt me because we love everything you do ❤❤❤
For those of you who are curious, the blue egg was obtainable during one of the Easter events where you find Easter eggs around the map and exchange them for stuff at Eggburt’a shop. If you found a cracked egg (looks like a chocolate egg but with a hole on top that exposed an egg yolk) you could exchange that with Eggburt for a blue egg. The cracked egg was at the very top of the sky castle. I believe there was a clue about it somewhere near Eggburt’s stand. The pink egg was obtainable sometime a bit before the pet update released, and you had to use a time travel machine (costed $100 to use) and travel back to when the nursery was being built and convince an npc to include a pet section in a nursery. Upon the task being completed, the player will get a pink egg.

My favorite moment in adopt me was how the community changed over the years I mean a lot of people were so nice throughout the years but some things can’t stay the same I’m just happy to be apart of this community with so many great people like the creators.
My Most Memorable Moments in Adopt is during the pandemic era, my pandemic friends and I we're raising pets, having fun and helping each other out. I really miss them, now I'm a 4th year College and I haven't heard of them playing since then...
My favourite moment in Adopt Me was when I built my first house. With the island update, I finally decided to fully create a home, even drawing out plans and layouts on paper beforehand. The house took at least 16,000amc and the span of 2 days. Once I was finished, me and my two younger siblings spent hours playing inside of it with our pets, allowing strangers from the server to come in, and even made new friends who (to this day) come to my house to age their pets.

My favorite part of Adopt me was the old days. Back in 2017 and 2018 where you could roleplay, not get scammed, and adopt children were all good. I feel like when pets were added to the game, adopt me kinda fell apart in what the game was made for, roleplaying.

exactly even if they were gonna add pets they could have kept it simple like a dog, cat, bunny, hamster and fish. They could have also made them non tradeable like what Tobias said and not have the special limited eggs with was mostly where scamming came from since most people joined after the safari, jungle egg etc. ngl i really wish the old adopt me would come back
I remember playing adopt me in 2020/2019, hatching safari eggs with my friend, it was so refreshing to not care about values or trading, just about getting cute and likeable pets
My big memories stemmed from 2020 - 2021 where I first played Adopt Me! , specially since the fossil isle was so much fun digging up those toys and stuff - It was GREAT. when the isle was jam-packed and people were focusing on digging up and not trading, I joined for the first time when Aussie eggs were released.
You know, Adopt Me has changed so much since I started playing it in early 2020, and I just want to say thank you so much for making this game, which was, and is my (late) childhood. Ever since I started playing Adopt Me, let’s just say, I’ve never been happier since. Thank you, Adopt Me Team. ❤️
I love how Adopt Me has evolved so much! My favorite update was the 2019 Christmas update, it brings back so many memories since it was the first Adopt Me update I've played! I kind of want Adopt Me to return back to its old role-playing map for a weekly update and for it to last for a week, but other than that keep the work up Adopt Me team!!

Although I have played since 2018 when pets weren’t a big thing, my first favourite moment in adopt me was during Christmas 2019. I loved the update so much. From the ice skating on the river to the gifts and the new pets available. Me and my founding would grind on adopt me for hours and hours and enjoyed it throughly, gaining so many interactive pets. Watching this gave me a lot of nostalgia. Now in 2022, the pets I worked hard for are so much more valued, which I enjoy 😂 but I wish I could turn back time to 2019 halloween and actually get the shadow dragon, evil uni and bat dragon 😔
it makes me happy to see how far adopt me has come, but it also is very saddening to see that the old adopt me players knew is gone. i just cannot make myself believe that 2019 was 5 YEARS AGO..i remember the fossil isle update like it was yesterday.. . remember when we got rewarded 20 bucks just for playing the game, and the soccer field that was once on adoption island? the christmas updates felt so alive to me..i just cannot believe that spark is gone. but thank you, adopt me team, for touching many hearts and helping us make great memories in adopt me.

Watching this video made me realise how much I missed before the Aussie Egg update. I really love how the old island looked and wish the adopt me team would bring back the old island and pets once more for atleast a week for all players to experience the wonderful world of adopt me when it started.
My favourite time in adopt me is the Halloween and Winter update. I love the mini games and the beautiful decor all over the map.

My most favourite moment in adopt me was when the mythic egg came out. When I first started playing properly on adopt me, like started to properly grind and started to trade often, the ocean egg was there for like 5 months (this was when I started so don’t reply saying that the ocean egg was in the game for 6 months). Then when the countdown was happening I was online with all of my friends and family, and we all counted down until it came out. It was brilliant because it was the first time everyone in adopt me came together and had lots of fun for me. It was just brilliant.

I remember the nursery differently, I remember two rows of cribs on each side of the nursery and we would go role play, I remember when they added the sky castle update too, it changed so much!

My favourite memory was when I first joined adopt me. In 2019, a couple months after the pets were realised my friends at school told me about this fun game “Adopt Me!” I 5ought it sounded fun, so later when I got home I came onto Roblox and joined it. The first thing I remember is being confused on how to hatch eggs, watching some y vids and finally figuring it out. I spent a lot of time on adopt me back then. From hatching my very first cat, to the Halloween event where I adopted an evil unicorn (which I later traded for like 3 unicorns bc I preferred the normals ones lol), to the Christmas update where I hatched many robins, wolves and swans (never an arctic reindeer though). Throughout my time playing adopt me, I have made many memories. Like buying a robo-dog, making a neon frost fury and even trading for the pet I had wanted all those many years, the frost dragon. Thank you BeThink, NewFissy, and the rest of the adopt me time, for making a part of my childhood better. Because while many were playing Tower Defense simulator, Fortnite, COD. I was having the time of my life adopting new pets with my friends
my fav memory is when my online friends and i made our friendship house in adopt me,worked on making neons,grinding to make money, hatching eggs, partying, celebrating our birthdays in adopt me by making a party housee.

I can remember a few years ago, when I finally convinced my brother to join roblox too, the first game I showed him was adopt me, where we would spent ages trying to trade for his dream pet of a neon dog. Lol. 🤣 I can also remember when the shadow dragon came out and I didn't like it, I thought it was scary!! lol.
Gosh, i started playing back in 2017 near when the gifts first came out with the snowboards. well i didnt play adopt me constantly but i think my best memory of the game is pretty recent. The 2023 Christmas update. It was such a blast. The mini games were great, i liked the advent calendar and the stuff in it, and the story game frost claws fury. There were also so many good things from the event you could buy. but at the top of the list, the people who played with. I played with one of my friends a decent amount who hadn't played the game in awhile and also got to play it with my cousins i dont get to see often.

I joined in 2018 as a kid when I searched up adopt and raise a baby, and I still love the game to this day. My favorite part was when they added tasks to the game, where babies would say they need a bath or something because it made the game funner, I love the pets and adopt me today but I will never forget the adopt me I knew before all the pets.
My favorite adopt me moment was back in between the earlier christmases and the Christmases now. The one year where we could fly on the reindeers in the sky to collect gingerbread was amazing and my favorite time of the game
I actually joined around 2017 and played Old adopt me back in like 2018 and I had so much rare collectibles that I saved over the years
3:18 I throwed a party saying "come party with me! :D" and no one came, I was very sad until i saw some of my friends come saying"party time!" I was so happy I loved those days :')
My favorite adopt me moment was meeting katie someone who was always kind i was not having a good day my mim had kidney stone and needing surgery she was there for me and even gave me pets that costed robux she also let me get something for my cousin
It’s amazing to see how much progress this game has! It’s amazing and I love it! But I think you guys should bring back one of the best eggs, for example maybe the safari or jungle! Then it will have loads of people playing again! My favourite was the fossil eggs!

I remember the old pool party with babies, and i loved getting out of the pool and going into the jacuzzi area.
