This video reminded me so much of my mom. She loved making paper flowers and paper "corn husk" dolls. She made some pretty little bridesmaids to set as table decor at my cousins wedding. I have started sewing and making OOak dolls. She would have loved it. She is no longer with us. It makes me so sad that I can't share this with her.

This is awesome! My son and his fiancée were to marry in Spain, but because of what’s going on in the world it’s postponed. They both enjoy miniatures and figures, so this just perfect! I can do this! Yesss! I can give it to them on the day they were to get married ! ❤️❤️❤️

I made my wedding cake with cold porcelain. I think is smaller than this one, but I added two mini dolls of cold porcelain - the bride and the groom - made with a pin inside to attach them in the top. This one is pretty cool, I never had thought make a cake with foam board, thanks for the video

I love these! Such creativity :) A thought: when you have a busy pattern like the one at 13:03, instead of cutting the edge straight, cut it unevenly. Maybe not leaf-specific, but just enough to disrupt the straight line visual. Then the seams would be practically invisible!

The top tier of a wedding cake is traditionally saved to be eaten on the one year anniversary (frozen till then). We ate some of ours first to taste it. Much better than a year later.
