How lucky are we that you persist, not throw your hands into the air, and walk away from this platform. It matters not to us that things are not centred, (I have never noticed), it's your clever content that keeps us engaged and keen to learn. How exciting about our new upcoming project with you and the sew-along. This is so generous of you Jennifer. Many thanks, Vicki.

Jennifer, when you cut out the back of your fabric is it just to reduce the bulk? Also, is that iron on fleece you use to back your fabric? I’d so, doesn’t it make it hard to take out stitches you are not happy with? Love your work!!

Pat, my snippet piece was tacked onto a piece of calico to fit into a hoop. I then removed the calico from within the tacking stitches - leaving the snippet attached the calico to fit in the hoop. I hope this makes sense

I accidentally watched this video twice. I’m glad because I’ve been wondering how to create a shadow box for my daughter. A few months ago, we explored the lot where a Masonic temple once stood. This lot is the site for her new home which is being built now. We found what I call “artifacts” on the site. I plan to put the artifacts in the shadow box with some sort of art at the back. The back of the new home would overlook a park if we could see thru the trees. Wouldn’t it be cool for me to stitch autumn trees for the backdrop? My daughter loves fall. I know you call your tree “dead” tho it looks like a tree passing into winter’s sleep. It’s a good idea. Thanks! ❤️💚🤎
