In the original Ruprecht version, one of the rules for a Big Sweep win was for a teammate to have their hands on the money, not the product, before the bell ring. I remember seeing this the first time and thought to myself, "Think she may have gotten the check a second too late," so I used a stopwatch app to confirm and yep, she did get it after the double zero. Had that rule remained intact, they would have not won the $100,000. We don't know if the Ruprecht rules are still being applied today, but whether it is or not, I'm glad this win was counted. I actually prefer grabbing the product over the check to verify a win as there's a chance for a prop mishap to occur; recall a Punch-A-Bunch incident on The Price Is Right where a contestant punched the board to reveal an empty slot, and Bob Barker rewarding the contestant $10,000 by default.
I think it's iffy with the rule. Earlier in the season (episode 2 I think) the contestants grabbed the 5th item and didnt realize until a few seconds later that they're also supposed to grab the money to win the $100k (luckily they had about :20 remaining, time was also continuing to countdown while they didnt have the money in their hand). So I think it might be a midseason rule change where grabbing the 5th item constitutes as a win
OMG!!!! I had NO FRICKEN IDEA that there was a new SUPERMARKET SWEEP years after David Ruprecht's tenure as host!! Awesome as a possum with a blossom!!!! :) :) :) :)
They have the color of the shirts but they don't have the numbers on their shirts 👕 and they do not have the numbers undershirts like team one team 2 teen three and they don't have the shopping cart in front of them so they changed it a little
That was a nail biter! Glad they got the 100k!!!

That was the best bonus round only 1 second left that's amazing
Oh me oh my!! I think at least two were due to luck or either store layout or just being at the right aisle at the right time.
Technically the buzzer had started ringing by the time they had their hands on the check!
Was there a buzzer? I only heard the bells which I’m assuming was to indicate a win.
That wasn't the buzzer, that bell sounds the moment they lay hands on the product.
THESE LADIES GOT THE S.O.S. AND THE Money 💵 WITH ONLY 1 damn second remaining on the timer!! Oh my goodness!

And they never had no one walking into the game

Is it even safe to drink soy sauce?
I liked the original show better, but this is a lot of money, that is nice
Benefit of being a primetime show in this version (No, inflation hasn't been 20x haha)
Lucky
GATOR-pot
Drink soy sauce?
The old game show was way better than this one
