It’s why you can’t record inside any federal courthouse. Denver Metro Audit is going to federal prison next week for recording inside a SSA office. The people that are in charge of public property have many of the same rights and authorities the person on private property has Including the right to make rules and regulations to maintain good order and discipline and have people removed that are causing problems Just because property is public property doesn't mean you have the right to be there… That property is owned by the government, not by the people, and certainly not by any individual of the public. The government ALLOWS you to go under that property on the condition that you are there to conduct legitimate business Bothering people while you're walking around with the camera is not legitimate business In addition to that, the post office is spectral because the post office is not received tax money, while it is owned by the government, and the land is federal land, the post office doesn't receive any tax money, and therefore they operate under a specific set of rules Poster seven SPECIFICALLY says that you MAY take photographs (or purpose of this customer going to pretend that shooting video and photography are the same) in certain areas But poster seven also CLEARLY states that the person in charge of the post office has the authority to revoke your permission to film Which means when they tell this idiot to stop filming he is required to stop filming and when he doesn't, he is no longer welcome there, and he is therefore trespassing if he doesn't leave They are in charge of the property you are a guest. If you do not conduct yourself in the appropriate manner as defined by them you will lose your permission to be of the property and you will leave or you will be removed to as you should be

The differences between private property and public property are actually very small That's not my opinion that's what the Supreme Court has said He was not conducting any legitimate businesses on that property and therefore he was told that he needed to leave The post office operates under different rules in that since they don't receive any government money, they have different rules and other government buildings and establishments While poster seven says that you may photograph (and film) that is by permission, not by right The PERMISSION is granted by the people in charge of the post office and they can revoke that permission anytime they so choose They don't need to have a reason, but usually it's because your actions are causing a distraction or are making their customers uncomfortable and the comfort of their customers is more important than your privilege, ergo they revoke that privilege and you need to leave Failure to leave when they tell you to do so is grounds for having trespass because, once again, we were only on the property because they give you permission to be there There is no right to go on to any government owned property. Public property is private even if it's open to the public? My head hurts! Poster 7 dictates how postal employees are to respond to citizens photographing and video recording postal facilities and property!
You people need to learn the law. The Suoreme Court decided in 1983 that governments at any level have a right to restrict First Amendment activities inside any government facility. It’s why you can’t record inside any federal courthouse. Denver Metro Audit is going to federal prison next week for recording inside a SSA office. Rage Girl Radio was convicted yesterday for recording in a Pennsylvania DMV. It’s the law. Learn it!
The people that are in charge of public property have many of the same rights and authorities the person on private property has
Including the right to make rules and regulations to maintain good order and discipline and have people removed that are causing problems
Just because property is public property doesn't mean you have the right to be there… That property is owned by the government, not by the people, and certainly not by any individual of the public.
The government ALLOWS you to go under that property on the condition that you are there to conduct legitimate business
Bothering people while you're walking around with the camera is not legitimate business
In addition to that, the post office is spectral because the post office is not received tax money, while it is owned by the government, and the land is federal land, the post office doesn't receive any tax money, and therefore they operate under a specific set of rules
Poster seven SPECIFICALLY says that you MAY take photographs (or purpose of this customer going to pretend that shooting video and photography are the same) in certain areas
But poster seven also CLEARLY states that the person in charge of the post office has the authority to revoke your permission to film
Which means when they tell this idiot to stop filming he is required to stop filming and when he doesn't, he is no longer welcome there, and he is therefore trespassing if he doesn't leave
They are in charge of the property you are a guest. If you do not conduct yourself in the appropriate manner as defined by them you will lose your permission to be of the property and you will leave or you will be removed to as you should be
Poster 7 is a poster, it doesn't dictate anything. It gives public notice.
CFR 39 is the federal code.
@viralsheddingzombie5324 It's the notice of what the public is allowed to do on postal property. You can argue that it's just a poster but, it reminds postal employees what their limitations are when it comes to their conduct when dealing with citizens!
@@vallejoborncalihasbecomeal9022 no, no, it informs citizens how they are to behave on property that We The People gave to the Postal Service to conduct their business .

And the Sgt was intentionally interfering with YOUR BUSINESS playing that music (PRIOR RESTRAINT) now AI has tools that remove that AND RUclips no longer restricts the background music if it is incidental to your business
The differences between private property and public property are actually very small
That's not my opinion that's what the Supreme Court has said
He was not conducting any legitimate businesses on that property and therefore he was told that he needed to leave
The post office operates under different rules in that since they don't receive any government money, they have different rules and other government buildings and establishments
While poster seven says that you may photograph (and film) that is by permission, not by right
The PERMISSION is granted by the people in charge of the post office and they can revoke that permission anytime they so choose
They don't need to have a reason, but usually it's because your actions are causing a distraction or are making their customers uncomfortable and the comfort of their customers is more important than your privilege, ergo they revoke that privilege and you need to leave
Failure to leave when they tell you to do so is grounds for having trespass because, once again, we were only on the property because they give you permission to be there
There is no right to go on to any government owned property. There is permission provided you have permission and you have legitimate business
People are under the mistaken impression that they have some kind of claim of ownership to government property and that is simply false
