As a certified hershpark enthusiast a couple more tips If you don’t want to blow money on a fast track especially at the price it’s at now just work back to front either rope drop wildcats revenge or if it goes down watch it until it comes back up as that’s your best time to ride also DO NOT do candymonium first it’s tempting since it’s at the front but everyone else has the exact same idea hit candy later in the day (but not to late)
I wouldn’t rope drop revenge for a few reasons. First reason is that the stampede at rope drop has half the crowd going straight to revenge. I would do Fahrenheit or laff trakk first because the capacity on them suck. Revenge running 3 trains with separate load and unload stations means they get ppl through much quicker and believe it or not on most days the line for revenge is not as long as you think I’ve seen it on multiple days mid day have a line barely making to the switchbacks even on busy days kinda like candy with its dead time
What are your thoughts on rainy days? Just went today and it was dead. Only rained for 3 hours and there was almost no wait times for anything except Wildcat and Laff Track. Bear/Farenheit/Storm/Jolly/Sky all could be ridden non stop all day until closing. It was crazy
I love watching tourists do these things. I live like 8 minutes from Hersheypark and I worked there for a little, so I know everything about it and the surrounding area cause I’ve been here my whole 18 year life
I do to. Ppl think they getting a pro tip and go to this or that coaster first thinking they’re beating crowds meanwhile….. i can have 3 or 4 laps on storm runner by the time they finish their first on revenge or laff trakk or wherever the so called pro tip took them
That’s how I am but with Disneyland, Universal, LegoLand, SeaWorld, and Knotts Berry Farm. I’ve been to all of them hundreds of times and know them like the back of my hand, it’s impossible for me to get lost. I laugh when I see people head straight for the castle or Tomorrowland at Disney, I always start the day in Adventureland and work my way over and around, ending in Tomorrowland. Way better that way.
I go to Hersheypark literally every week and this is what I do, Go to the park at 5:00- closing ( I know that it seems dumb but I had no wait in all the rides) Also go back to front DO NOT BUY FAST PASS it’s nice but not worth it if you go a like 5:00 Bring your own cup because there are free water refills and free soft drink refills if you have the meal pass Only buy a pass if you go there often And if you go in the morning you will only get one ride in either no wait it only takes like 10-20 mins for the park to get very crowded If you do go around lunch time eat it early because you can ride rides while others are eating lunch Hope this helps!
I have worked for them before you don’t need the fast pass. You don’t need to go out opening the key is going on a rainy day. Lol but in all honesty, Hersheypark is a box standard amusement park and you really don’t need to buy all of the extras however, a refillable cup which is about 20 bucks allows you to refill with soda and slushy’s for free for that day.
I live within spitting distance of this place and just want everyone to know we long for the end of tourist season like huddled masses waiting for winter to end but instead of snow it’s idiots who can’t drive and start shit cause they don’t live here, anywho, welcome to Hershey y’all!
getting the happy hours pass during the week (going into park after 4) allows you to go on so many rides without any long wait times. I got on almost every coaster in 5 hours.
Tbh despite I only go once or twice a year, when I go I feel like I'm at home! Like I know every EVERYTHING is and I know a bunch of tips Also another tip! Start back where laff trakk is since over there tends to get the most crowded bc of laff trakk and wild cat
You can also visit the building where Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points in a single game in Hershey Park Arena one of the older functional arenas at 85-86 years old and still hosting youth/junior hockey games
***this is for frugal tourists!!! In my opinion, zoo America isn’t really worth it unless you are going another day with a discount. It is a pretty fun zoo but with the price of Hershey Park tickets, I would spend all day at the at the park and go to the zoo on another day. The chocolatier is overrated and overpriced. I would instead try houlihans or fudruckers. Also chocolate world can be it’s very own trip, or you can go in the same day as zoo America, and the building has a food court, 4D movie theater, and a large store.
My first tip is...don't go...go to Knoebels instead it's free to get in you just pay for each ride you go on the rides are around 1.50 each or if you ride a lot of rides by a wrist band. They have a cool arcade, a swimming pool that is only 8 dollars to get in with a water slide 1.50 a ride. The food is normal price and really really good.
@@cuca402 nope I just love it because I have 3 kids and it makes it affordable to take my kids to an amusement park in the summer. Hershey Park is like 70 dollars a person and then you have to pay for overpriced food and drinks that aren't very good and buy candy that's way over priced and sometimes even pay for rides that aren't included in the ticket price. So I'm just saying if you have a family knoebels is the better choice
@@marlenathorvaldtheir food is good, Knoebels is also very fun. Me and my family have season passes to Hershey. So we don't pay to get in, don't pay for drinks either.
@@LoganMcFalls15 Knoebels food is insanely good especially their fall stuff. Hershey is fine it's just so expensive...yea if you have free passes then go for it it's not bad it's just expensive...it's not just Hershey it's all corporately owned amusement parks...Disney six flags ect. But if you want a good time for a decent price especially when you have kids...Knoebels is the spot....I haven't rented a camper or cabin but I've looked at the prices they aren't bad either. I recommend it to anyone visiting PA. If you live here you probably already know
Even thought I live 15 min away from Hershey spark, we usually only go once or twice a season. But when we do go, we got there EARLY and I mean EARLY. Pro tip, start at the back of the park when you get there, bc everyone else is gonna go straight to candymonium ( frount) so the lines at the back of the park are nonexistent when it opens… also the chocolatier is overpriced. So I would just pack some sandwiches. Alsoooo there is a ✨Starbucks✨ in there. Yourselfome
Ok pro tip for Hersheypark. Its my homepark. My pro tip to get on all the coasters without fast pass and with little waite time. When the park opens, head stright towards the back of the park and work your way forward. Reason, everyone is going to rush towards the coasters at the frount of the park first and by the time you work your way up everyone then should be headed towards the back of the park. So lines will be not as bad.
Not sure this is going to work anymore. Starting tomorrow at the end of sweet start theres gonna be a sprint race to the back of the park everyday as soon as security says go… I go to the park a few times a week. Skyrush for sweet start. Then I’m gonna switch it up between going to Fahrenheit then storm runner one day and the next day I’ll do great bear then storm runner. I’ll join the sprint to revenge now and then as well lol it’s a fun ride I rode it Tuesday evening

One thing I’ve learned is to NEVER ride candymonium first. You will be waiting in line for at least an hour, don’t get me wrong candymonium is super fun but it is not worth waiting an hour plus in line.
