I have the 19 klx 250. I took it across the mountain passes in Silverton, CO. I took it up to 28,000 feet and I found it to be the perfect bike. Engineer Pass, Stoney Pass, Cinnamon Pass, and many Gulches. Greatest views you will ever find. I also spent a week riding the Buffalo Mtn trails of the Harfield McCoy system in W Viginia. The best change I made was to change from the stock 42 to a 52 rear sprocket. My am now turning 6000 rpm at 55 mph. The off road performance is much improved.
I have shejisi mirrors on my 2024 klx 300 they give excellent view, look good, and can fold in when needed. Have haldlebar risers installed and will soon be getting new footpegs. No other mods planned or otherwise. Southern middle tennessee here.
Did you have a problem with putting the exhaust into the mid pipe and then starting it and having exhaust coming out from the mid pipe area I keep adjusting it, but I have the 10 inch
IMO kinda pricey for such a simple bike!! All bikes are up in fact. I went Lifan KPX250 for $2900 shipped.. clearly not kawasaki, but it is darned nice w/EFI. Parts are available and cheap on Amazon..
When you take in consideration reliability, quality, how long the motor will last, and the ability for any motorcycle dealership to work on the bike for service and big problems i think it’s worth it to spend a little extra money. I have a Honda 300l and I love it.
