Question: Should i make a separate ad group for "niche+near me" keywords and put "near you" in the ad copies? or can i just put them in the same adgroup with the "niche+city" ad group?

Hey Aaron, I got your optimization checklist for my performance max campaign, but the monthly checking of the asset performance (where it says good, poor, best) does not show up for me. I’ve been running the campaign at $20/day for almost 2 months now and it says the performance rating is not available for my assets. I have headlines, images, videos, etc. that have no performance rating.
I wish Google named it something else. Have had clients just switching things on which they don’t understand and also wasted time explaining to clients why it’s not really an optimisation score at all.

Did anyone experience the campaign freezing for several days for "learning" just because of a small change for optimization?
A Google rep told me that even a change in CPA target can trigger that disaster. It's crazy. It's like a mine field, you step on the wrong place and kaboom.
Your view and my Google ad view is so different. It's so hard to follow along.

Same here. I have the same for campaigns spending 5k a month for a few months now.
