Straight FAQs up in here.
u are the reason alot of people learn how to progress, i would say keep it up but you are on the highest teaching level already. thank you ♥
I've been working on Planche leans and Pseudo Planche Pushups. Setting my feet against something and marking the ground to track my progress has helped so much. Thanks for these informative videos!
Thank you.
I am gonna try it today.
Started incorporating these on monday they are harder than i remembered! Great timing bro💪
Nice video. I haven't had pseudo planche pushups in my rotation for a while. I'll add them back in soon and try with your new recommendation of not putting the head against a wall.
Thanks brother.
Just what I was looking for.
just when i needed a video on these. I'm working my way towards a full planche and these are pivotal to my improvement. Thanks.
Thank you for these body weight videos. You do great work.
Thx for the info bud
Nice, I just finished planning my next workout and started wondering on the proper form of this exercise. Your video is on point and right on time :D
Thanks bro I will use this as my motivation for my glow up this 2024.
Honestly, Daniel’s muscles look like a road map. Nice vid mate!
Best Fitness Video of the Year. And all that in just 4+ minutes.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you found it valuable.
Thank you for this, would be amazing if you can do a video about tuck planche dips.
Do a follow along workout video please made of these exercises; wall walks, lateral plank walks, shoulder taps and diamond push-ups with a wide hand placement?
Perfect timing me and a friend are currently doing a 30 day planche pushups challenge
Pike push ups vs pseudo push ups which is the better excercise??
I wouldn't try to determine which one is better, rather treat them as complimentary exercises.
If you wanna build strength towards handstand push up,pike push ups,if you wanna build strength towards tuck planche push ups or bent arm planche, pseudo push ups,no one is better it depends on your goals
Brother I do both so I think I can answer your question. I do 3 sets of 12-15 for both . Since I am into calisthenics right now my goal is to achive the handstand and for learning handstand there can be no excercise better than the pike push ups because it makes u familiar with the stance and also strengths your shoulders. Pike walks are also good . But I have experienced a lot of time that my shoulders are more engaged in pseudo push ups rather than in pike push ups . So if u can easily do 15-20 PERFECT normal push ups and want to build shoulder muscles as well as strength, then i would recommend u the PSEUDO PUSH UPS . I gurantee that u will see improvement in your shoulder strength as well as some definition of the muscles . And if u want to achieve the skills like handstand and handstand push ups then also add PIKE PUSH UPS to your workout . Thanks for reading to the end 😊
do both
Pike is best for shoulders but its very intense. Start with pseudo plank for warmup than finish with pike for intensity.
Feet just touching the wall is a great idea! ...I add in pause: lock elbows at the top, and counting on each rep. It's not hard!
Jeff Nippard & FitnessFAQS collab is what I'm waiting for...
Can you do a comprehensive glute exercise breakdown?
You should try to maintain scapula protraction when lowering down to keep tension on the shoulders
I've been doing pseudo planche pushups feet to the wall for ages. Yes, every inch down towards the hips increases resistance exponentially, not linearly. This is not due to an increase in load on the hands (which is minimal) but because of an increase in leverage between the pivot (your shoulders) and the extremities (your hands). I can confirm that even half an inch progression massively reduces reps. Every subsequent half inch even more.
Heck yeah, these push ups are crazy. Also a good idea to record yourself from the side to see where you hands go when at the bottom. They might be further away from your hips than you think.😅
"Savagely strong" xD nice
What about dips to build shoulders strength for Planche
May I ask a question : is it a strong issue if one has rotator cuff issues (mostly biceps tendon )? Thank you
Can pseudo push up use knee instead of feet... Because im weak and i want to master that too
Excessive hollow body limits range of motion at the shoulders ⬅👍👍👍👍
I feel to much pressure blood pressure on my head and I got disconnected with my shoulders is there any solution ?
I can do 10-15 reps with good form but too my head feel dizzy
For full planche push ups isn’t better to do pseudo with protraction all the time?
That's what I do.
That's not possible. In every horizontal push up exercise (if done correctly), your shoulders will retract when lowering.
I never feel this exercise in my shoulders, I do feel it super hard in me lower chest tho
Which one is more challenging, tuck planche push ups or pseudo planche push ups?
depends on how much you lean from what ive seen
My dream physique🫡
Thought we were suppose to maintain protraction throughout the movement?
Staying protracted limits the shoulders movement. Lowering into retraction when descending a push-up is natural. Protraction towards the lockout is recommended though, that's the unique advantage of push-ups over bench press.
If my goal is full planche push up, can I get there by practicing this alone?
This is the first step to full planche push up,but there are many other steps.
1.Pseudo Push Ups(You need to get 15 reps with your hands at waist level to go to the other progression)
2.Tuck Planche push ups(In this push up you just go into a tuck planche position and do a push up,do it with paralletes or between 2 chair to have better range of motion)
3.advanced tuck planche push ups(Now you only need to lean a little bit forward and try to move your legs to a 90 degree angle, you can watch this progression on RUclips to have a better idea, like in the 2 progression use a chair for better range of motion)
There are other steps and progressions that you can watch in RUclips my friend, search it and you will know what to do👍
Does it work an build Side Delts as well?
How old are you man?
The thotbots are here in force. I don't know that I'll ever get first on a FitnessFAQ video again. Congrats, Daniel, you're influential enough to get bot traffic!
Literally feel like I'm cheating watching these videos
I do these push ups with my MtoF transgender girlfriend. She helps me a lot.
