Nothing but respect for you, Actionkid105! Under these extreme weather conditions you managed to capture a magnificent sunset at Hunter´s Point South! Beautiful! You definitely spoil your very appreciative viewers with every new video. Stay safe and warm, Actionkid105!
Looks cool. Cold as a matter of fact. Better you than me. I don't think people appreciate the fact that you crank out footage with very little editing. I like that. Its about the walk not every little nuance in vid making. Keep it up I've learned a lot about NYC.
Thank you so much! Even though I do many simple walking videos with not much editing it’s not easy to visit so many locations and to plan everything out.
beautiful postcard !! 👏👌👍 ... !!! You arrived opportunely to capture this sunset image👏👏👏👏. Take care of the extreme cold! ... Thank you very much for this nice video !! 💝
I spend hours viewing your videos since we visit NYC for christmas, we are from france, please never stop to post i just love every video you do, thank you for that!
All the time I lived in NYC I never visited Hunter's Point, but thanks to the actionkid I have! Impressed with park from which to view the river and skyline. Glad I didn't notice homeless folks freezing without shelter. TY again actionkid and Mother Nature for the outstanding sunset.
Action Kid, this is one of my favorites. Everything about it is so cool. Time of day, and winter's desolation, views of the river and skyscrapers. And that "strange" water ferry that happens to pull out of its slip as you approach. Magnificent to experience in 4K.
@@ActionKid Maybe because it's not preplanned, and the audience does not know what happens next. Believe it or not, I watch about 3 hours of your work daily. So, as I said, this stuff is addictive! Congrats man. Approaching 50K subscribers shortly! I am getting on in years, and can no longer "walk the walk" but I am with you in spirit! But I know good work when I see it!
the first time i went to new york, that was the first thing that i saw.. the sun going down behind the manhattan skyline, dying the whole sky purple-red.. one of the most amazing things ive ever seen, up to this day
I think he was running so he can be in time to film the boat before it sailed away. He must have known the exact time when the boat would sail off and ran to catch it in time.
Yes! It was very cold! I ran for two reasons: to catch the sunset before it disappeared and to catch the boat arriving (which was actually unplanned, haha)
Ahhh...time to relax and you know what that means? A cup of coke, my favorite easy-chair and of course, a tour of NYC playing on my mobile device. So I'll just indulge myself. That's right! Kick off my shoes, lean back and enjoy beautiful views.
I think you deserve infinite likes and recognition from all your followers, the action you did in full polar wave was very risky !!, you deserve all my respects !! ... you are the best !!💝👏💪
Very lovely! Enjoyed the run -- for a minute I thought that the video was sped-up :D. The sunset on the river and the cityscapes in the evening glow were beautiful. But I also liked the arrangement of the park with those cool plank-covered benches (the one with the back reclined was the coolest!) and the brown, swaying grass -- that was actually my favourite sight: it looked almost like the fur on some kind of a hairy animal :D.
Thank you! The sunset impressed me very much, not as many people venture out in the winter but it’s just as marvelous as the other seasons. I had to run to catch it in time!
Why are you on the run. What are you running for.....Must be cold out there....Listening to the sound of the strong wind.....for me the first unknown part of NYC. Ruud Mulder from The Netherlands
I was thinking about you as the snow was coming down here in buffalo, I was thinking "damn, actionkid should see this" but then see the snow realized you saw for yourself
The gimbal has been acting up recently, it likes to tilt and I have to manually correct it often. The windy conditions may have also contributed to the tilting. I can always get the gimbal replaced under warranty.
The views from this place is beautiful from May to November. It's a favorite of those "Instagram Girls" with their Instagram photographer boyfriends. LOL. A lot of construction for high rise condos and hotels going on in the neighborhood. A lot of gentrification in Queens right now. Higher income young people are moving in.
Hi great video again,is this video has fish eye effect??? Because window frame in train and then yellow pole looks curved when camera is very close,or maybe its my imagination lol
Heard you a little out of breath when you were running. You dont get out of breath on your bike do you? Didnt hunters point use to be kinda run down? Looks beautiful now. love your videos.
Hi Actionkid. I wanted to know how I could send you some money. I really enjoy your videos. I have been away from nyc for so long and watching your videos just makes me so happy.
Hi, K., I did it. It may arrive this noon: *I purchased a HERO7 black.* (Text cancelled. - Prevailed information not needed. All running fine.) A hint: Load ruclips.net/video/bQJ_sCcj2HA/видео.html and start exactly at 03:14.40… - A walking trucker, Steve. - I'm often LIVE with him on long distances.
You are using wide lens, the FOV is all wrong which makes the distances from the lens seem much further than they are, and it also makes the video look very unnatural and unpleasant (bent buildings, trees etc.). For example, notice how bent, almost round, the subway door looks in the beginning of the video. It's a pity because it's such a nice footage otherwise.
Yes, that’s the cons of using a wide angle lens. On the other hand, it allows me to capture more of the background and the picture. I don’t think most people mind the distortion from the lens.
True. Perhaps you could look into reducing the angle to lessen the distortion, because it makes the video less 'realistic' and less immersive (at least to my eye). Anyway, thank you for your uploads either way. Cheers.
A little bit dangerous but sometimes you need to put some action into your life 😉 I was looking down for ice too, so it wasn’t like I was running recklessly, haha

What an amazing sunset - the sky looks incredible! Thanks for sharing another wonderful video my friend.

Love the videos. It looks so cold there. Thank you for posting this!
Just amazing😃 perfect sunset for a post card. I am glad you stopped running, it’s dangerous in that slippery snow ❄️
Gorgeous sunset action keep up the great work u do,the 4k is perfect

I was wondering why you were running,,,got it,,trying to catch the sunset! Your videos are great. I really enjoy them.
Something peaceful about this
Thanks for your videos! Nice to get to see NYC from your perspective. My time there was too hurried.
Actionkid you have an amazing world in NYC. Happy CNY!

Thanks for freezing to get us this nice footage!
I was running for warmth after this video was over!

actionkid105 you run and the image on the screen almost doesn't shake. Is it a feature of the camera?
It’s my gimbal stabilizer and the GoPro HERO7 Black HyperSmooth stabilization working together.
@@ActionKid Great.
N.Y.C.- cold but beautiful.
il en faut du courrage pour sortir avec un temp pareil bravo

Its so perfect, im realy relaxing end cry....;)
EVERYONE appreciates the Sun after the experience we just had
very cold and windy!
Wild winds
I was glued to the screen thinking you were going to slip while running! Haha.
If that happened there might not be another walking video for awhile 😖 I was looking down for ice while I was running so I wasn’t doing it recklessly.
Looks like the gimbal tilted once you started running....is there a fix for that?
The gimbal has been acting up recently, it likes to tilt and I have to manually correct it often. The windy conditions may have also contributed to the tilting. I can always get the gimbal replaced under warranty.
I will dream about this tonight 👍
LOL, I thought at first this was "Hunts" Point not Hunters Point when i saw the name of the vid!
Hunts Point is on my to do list as well!
I thought you fast forward some bits on here! haha

Do they call this the Southport water district ?
No I’ve never heard it called as such
I go to nyc in the summer months never been in the winter it looks another animal usually full of joggers they must be indoors on a treadmill :)
Hi great video again,is this video has fish eye effect??? Because window frame in train and then yellow pole looks curved when camera is very close,or maybe its my imagination lol
Yes, the GoPro has a wide angle lens
I can't stop watching your videos even one moment but i have a question from you why did you run at the first of video?
To catch the sunset!
@@ActionKid yeah got it
Action, were you running? Outstanding!
Yes I was! It was worth it to catch the sunset and the ferry leaving.
Heard you a little out of breath when you were running. You dont get out of breath on your bike do you? Didnt hunters point use to be kinda run down? Looks beautiful now. love your videos.
I get out of breath when I do any kind of short burst of physical activity. Hunter’s point used to be an abandoned industrial area.
