Lockdown in New Zealand - A Day in the Life of Growing Up Without Borders

- 4 weeks ago the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, announced that the country was going go to Level 4 and our lockdown life in quarantine began here in Queenstown.
Other than trips to the grocery store and daily walks we have been stuck indoors.
For us this pause has allowed us to catch up on a backlog of video edits, accounting and a lot of email and administrative tasks.
We've also had time to workout and master some new baking skills!
We can't wait to have the freedom to move around again but until then we're staying home, staying safe and encourage you all to do the same.

I was in NZ over thirty years ago. I remember how beautiful and uncrowded it was. Never made it down to Queenstown but did drive across the middle of the south island. Ate some farmed venison which tasted much less gamey than the wild variety. It was nice not having to worry about poison ivy or poison oak when I hiked through the woods. It’s definitely one of the better countries to be locked down in.
How fun ! Henry is hilarious. I can't imagine getting stuck in someplace so wonderful... I wouldn't want to leave :-)

I got on Google earth and measured the length of that lake 77 KM long.. that's a big lake.. And Chloe is the best at dance exercise.. Common Angelique get coordinated girl ;) .. Yes beautiful autumn weather you are having.. same here where i live in Australia.. crystal clear weather and brilliant sunshine.. Perrrrrrfect.. It's my favorite time of the year..
And you guys seem to eat very well... Better keep an eye on that.. make sure you get enough exercise to burn of all that nice food you guys are cooking up.. And yes Chloe seems to be a top sheff in the making.. :D

😂😂😂 It’s a miracle we all didn’t gain too much weight.
It look's like you guy's were in Fernhill on your walkabout. Lived there too during lockdown. Couldn't get used to queuing up outside the dairy on the corner though! Was great to go down town and have the place to yourself, no crowds and great opportunity for photography. Have since moved to Katikati.
That shepherd pie looked delicious! I enjoy cooking. Henry loves eating socks Lol!

Dang, Chloe has just grown like Jack in the Beanstalk. In just a couple of years she’s passed all the other females in the family. Heck it seemed to have happened in the last six months. Can’t believe that’s the same toddler in the opening video introduction. Wow.
I know...we can’t believe how much she has grown either. We only realize it when we watch a video from 1 year ago.

Cats don't travel well. Airline baggage personal have been known to play football with pet carriers. Kitty-cats can be excellent companions. Mine sure is sweet.

Nice seeing you here. At first we travelled all out of our own pockets and since we work remotely on our different projects we can be anywhere in the world with a good Internet connection. Now we've found ways to cut cost on accommodations by doing home exchanges. Sure! The only thing is is we’re literally only allowed to be in the close proximity so going for a unnecessary drive is still restricted. We were told to go home by the police the other day when we tried to go to the neighboring town. As soon as it opens we’re definitely going to showcase the whole area.

Woooow my favourite family on RUclips, I hope you are ok and soon back to Switzerland. Hopefully you are going to be able to travel with out getting the mandatory vaccinations for travelers. Check into that please and try to travel with out someone pushing you towards vaccination, especially for your kids. Let me know what are going to be your thoughts.

Visas & video editings are probably done by your husband, but how so much money ? Is your husband very rich ?
You wouldn’t believe it if I told you. We all help with video editing and we work online so we can work anywhere we go. It’s a little non stop but we make it work. 😉
