Remember as a kid seeing those mixed in with the rts in Brooklyn and thinking the' future is here' and admiring the different models, one with offset windshields and the newer one with even front windshields

Goodnight Sonic and that was a awesome video about . On the D.O.T Orion VII C.N.G's 1997-1999 Bus Fleet. They most definitely had big shoes to fill when it had come down to the Bus fleet in the D.O.T aka the Private Bus lines . They had replaced alot of GMC RTS and Some Grumman flexibles Buses in one private Bus Operators if I am not mistaken. I was still in High School when I first got my ride on one them it was on the Q-23 way back in the old TriBoro Coach days. Did you know that TriBoro had some of them that where painted in all white and TriBoro Coach had number them with a G in front of there number G3000 or G3005 and Queens Surface had them from i believe from 390 something to up 540 i believe and Comman Bus had them number as 4900 back in day. And yes the use run on local and Express Bus in to Manhattan. And Bus routes also B-103 and Q-53 was a single Boro Express at the time. For the private Bus Operators at the time.
