Nice lecture. one confusion only, first u said that neither c or phi can be determined from vane shear test but in example u determined c from the torque determined assuming 100% cohesive behaviour? please clarify.

I am confused too! Is it because he is assuming there's no frictional angle? Wish he could clarify this..
