It's crazy that you can just go to a bar and join a cult nowadays. When I was young and wanted a bit of cult action you had to jump though all these hoops. Going to church retreats, join the local rotary club, hang out at the museum. Now its like just go to a bar and meet willing dudes; no questions asked. It's a better world you young folks are building in my opinion.

Cult Con 2021 was great, had way more souls than Cult Con 2020.

If I recall correctly, a certain percentage of stationcrew that's alive must be cultists. Like, 70%+? 80%? Not THAT sure, but it's rare 'cause it requires so much conversion

I was the clown chaplain who went in swinging with the clown dagger and got immediately rekt. This has to have been the fastest cult win in TG's history.
Cult con is kinda cringe to be honest. We had one every cult round for like a week after this shift and it always went the same way. No funny war between cultists and sec/crew, just steamrolling until cultists summon nar nar and win.

Many people like to bring up comparisons between Paradise and /tg/ so I'll give you the gyst of what would happen on Paradise as a result of this.
Everybody who voluntarily got culted would have been temporarily banned for self-antagging. Seeing as it's Medium RP, crew are expected to not WANT to be culted and sacrifice their lives to resurrect Nar'Sie.
Anybody who kills culties (including security and Command) would be perma'd (brig, not server) for murder because culties are crew on manifest who can be deconverted. When they receive halos, you are allowed to murder them (but, you must make full attempt to revive and deconvert, if possible).
You might see this as no-fun-allowed but what's more fun than setting up your department just to get immediately murdered because the cultist convinced a few greytiders to join them so they were legally now allowed to murder people and not break any server rules.
Watched it again and have a couple additions.
You may have noticed the lack of security presence. There's no possible way for security to respond to this. The cult grew too fast. The entire crew couldn't respond to this fast enough. Even an ERT couldn't. Short of spawning half a dozen wormholes or an anomaly inside the bar, this couldn't be stopped.
This is why I prefer Paradise over /tg/. It's a game with rules that try to keep every side more or less equal.
@@PhrozenFox The fundamental problem with your outlook is treating SS13 like it's a competitive deathmatch that needs to be balanced and governed by a bunch of metagame rules.
It's a roleplaying game. Antags aren't supposed to just go full autism efficiency to chase greentext, they're supposed to add conflict and variety to the round. Your attitude promoted validhunting, helps perpetuate shitcurity, and ultimately leads to more antag murderboning since trying to do anything creative as an antag when the rest of the players are trying to "win" just means you getting permabrigged with zero RP.

9/10 cultists on LRP aren’t ballsy enough to do this and even then they often fail, Livrah videos aren’t normal rounds.

And this is why all unsanctioned worship is illegal outside of the chappel. Sec should have been there to ruin your little con before it started.
