Why don't you install it from underneath that way you lower it a wee bit.

Great question, we did consider that, but we decided that the step from the top step to the interior was not optimal in that position.

I purchased it in the States from Ace Hardware. It is called the Traeger Ranger. It doubles as a woodfired grill too.
