Aaron is a very mixed up person. Recently, he was flip-flopping about Michael Jackson. He's writing a book and says whatever serves him at any particular moment.
@@gerardinecizmar i agree 100%. I think Aaron is very thankful to Lou for his career but i think he has been abused for so long and so early that it all seemed normal to him...so when someone says "hey! This is wrong!" To him he will defend that because that is normal to him and his reality. Its clear as day that he was abused by Lou and i believe 110% that Nick was abused too but, Nick seems to be the type of person that is probably embarrassed by it and would rather be strong and pretend nothing happened or has the mind set that just because something terrible happened to you, doesnt mean you need to talk about it.
I’ve always loved N’sync ever since their self-tiled album came. And I’ve loved N’sync ever had a crush on each of the guys of N’sync ever since their song I Want You Back came out in 1998.😘😍😍😀❤️😀😍😘😘
Ok ppl need to realize that the contracts were read by lawyers. Lance has already stated in the sway morning show that they needed an entertainment lawyer to really UNDERSTAND the contracts. And their “lawyer” was Lou Pearlman’s lawyer. The lawyer was obviously a crook too. Not to mention, they were also promised the world as they were signing the contracts. This has has happened to so many successful artists starting out in their careers. So it happens a lot. Everything is 20/20 in hindsight.
yea Maurice Starr was something else, but I guess he learned his lesson after what happened with New Edition or atleast I've never heard the New Kids say anything specific about what they were getting in terms of money when Starr was managing them
I watched Boyband Conn last year was really good. I remember back on 2000 watching the formation of O-town and he’d appear on the eps and I knew as a 13yr old he was sketchy as fuck.
Lance is awesome but was hoping to hear something new or hear him give a few more details but this is pretty much just a rehash of exactly what he said in the documentary. I wonder if this whole BSB vs NSYNC with Lou being at the helm would have been possible with the way social media is today. It seems silly that they were pitted against each other but back then all I knew is whatever I saw on TV or in the stores.
The interview with Aron Carter in the documentary is sort of hard to watch. He wants so hard to convince the interviewer that nothing "happened" but his body language tells a very different story.
I heard in an interview that Lance didn’t bother asking him only because he was so busy and not for any other reason or anything but he really wanted to make sure that his mom was in it more so even then Justin himself. It’s in one of the interviews I saw just recently about the documentary.
It seems odd that they wouldn't read the contracts themselves. At 18, I read every line in my financial aid letter and any contract I signed. These guys were in their teens/early 20s when they signed. They should've read their contracts or had their parents look things over.
It was written to sound better than it was. It was one of those things where they were convinced if they didn't sign right then, the deal would not go through.
lily blu Imagine a middle schooler being given a legal document purposefully written by lawyers to be confusing. I’m not surprised at all that this happened. :/ Plus if you listen to the interview these managers were highly manipulative, narcissistic and corrupt who abused their power by tricking little kids.
I don't think you GET it. The contracts weren't great. Everyone in the music industry knows their first record deal won't be good. My son was in Lou Pearlman's group Take 5. Our entertainment attorney said the deal wasn't great but also said..How many times will this opportunity come around again and you renegotiate or leave after your contract is finished. When you're 13 years old....you take the deal. BUT....even with a bad deal...the money made and that should've been paid to ALL of Lou's groups, including Take 5 (Gold and Platinum recording artists) should've made millions. And that's with the crappy record deal. But what Lou did to make matters worse is not double or triple dip but 4 times dip into the pot. Manager, Record Company, Song writer and producer, and owner of owner of the merchandising companies....which is where most of their money is made. BUT even with all of those shady business tactics...(Not done by other music industry people) there STILL should've been millions paid out too all of these boys. You definitely don't understand how this all works, but most people don't.
Even a crappy group makes more than $10k in a shitty record deal. And Take 5 wasn't even lucky enough to get $10k after 5 years of their lives on the road. They got ZERO. OH we fought. We fought hard. But the city of Orlando had given Lou the key to the city ...Not once..but TWICE. He had them all in his back pocket. Judges listened to our story but never took action. The Judge never even made Lou give us the Royalty statements that was required per our contract...but we knew what they had sold by the Gold and Platinum albums on their walls.
The only thing I question is why the parents didn't read it. But the band's? They were children, working their asses off, I don't think it was in their mindset
After watching the documentary film, I kinda don't feel sympathy for Aaron Carter. I don't respect him defending Lou Pearlman. We all know Aaron is on crack. I don't think he's on his mind. I do believed him about Lou never do anything sexual on him. But seriously, would Lou go that far to molest a young elementary boy like Aaron? More importantly, Aaron was just a very young boy that time. I don't think he pay much attention to what Lou Pearlman do in his personal life, or what business he does. Not many young kids at the age of 7-10 don't know what their parents' occupations, and what they do in their personal life.
they say BSB is Coke because BSB came out first and if it weren't for them having the success that they had Nsync wouldn't have been made. So yes, Nsync is Pepsi in this metaphor.
Are they supposed to have consideration for the guy that scammed almost half a billion dollars? When the victim is telling the story is not biased, it’s a fact that was proven in the court of law.
Omg! I watched the Boy Band Con today and I was on the edge of my seat. Well done Lance Bass! It was the most amazing documentary I’ve ever watched.
Ashley Merrill I’m so bummed I can’t wait it because I don’t have RUclips premium
Leeann Pulchny I think there’s a one month free where you get it for free for a month of course. So just use that & watch it
#Ashley yeah i cant wait to see it too. When Cobra kai season2 comes out on RUclips premium ill watch Boy Ban Con too.
Yeah, it was great. And it seemed pretty fairly and honestly done. (unlike the mainstream media - - which is nothing but lies and omissions)

Still in love with Lance Bass 💕😍
Molly Riley he’s still GAAAAAYY!!!!
So what if he is gay, he’s still adorable and in your fantasies he can be whatever you want. You know how many woman fantasies about Matt Bomer.
felineco99 exactly. He wouldn’t marry me anyways
He is hot! Gay guys can marry girls. Straight men married for 30years can come out gay like kaitlyn jenner. Sexuality is fluid.
Lance!!! You have such a SICK voice! 😍forever a fan😍
