Yeah, he makes me tired just watching him run from one side of the stage to the next. It's impossible to take your eyes off him the way he performs. So fascinating.

They also have recorded backup vocal tracks. They sing on top of them when they all sing together, not the solos. This is very common, even on broadway shows and things like that. That doesn’t take away on how amazing they are

I love JC & Joey’s dancing. Joey was so full of energy like the energizer bunny. I always felt like I related to Lance’s dancing skills. He was not the best dancer in the group, surrounded by guys who picked up choreo really quickly, it took him some time to pick up the choreography, but ended up becoming really good at it. I’ve always felt like I wasn’t the best dancer, but with lots of practice became really good at the numbers I performed in. I think Lance was really underrated. I love all the guys though. Each of them had their own vibe when they danced.
This 70MM film was made from several different concerts filmed in a 65mm film format called IWERKS, (similar but slightly smaller than IMAX) over a few nights at each location. We had up to 8 large format cameras shooting every night. It was filmed at the Pontiac Silverdome, Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburg and Hershey Park Stadium. The concert was the exact same show every night, exact song list, same wardrobe, so we could intercut the film from several different locations. The only difference that I remember was the Hershey Park Stadium stage was bigger which allowed set extensions out to the sides of the stage, so you can see that in a few shots. It took several nights to get all of those angles for each song, as once every camera was in place, we couldn’t move the cameras during a show. It was quite an undertaking and logistical challenge reloading those huge cameras many times during the shows. We shot a lot of Kodak film.

Watching the intro and NSA brought real tears to my eyes. They are PHENOMENALLY PERFECTION! Nobody can/could touch them. VOCALS, DANCING, CHARISMA, ENERGY...THEY TRULY ARE THE FULL PACKAGE.
Yes! Totally agree. They had it all & to this day, NSA as the opening number to the concert is my absolute fave. That song gets me excited. I can’t help, but to dance & sing along with them. They are my fave boyband. I still love them the way I did as a teen & in my 20s.

He's running and jumping around and still sings perfectly, always gives 110% the best singer for me, JC always! :-) He was in the audience of X factor celebrity a couple of weeks ago supporting his friend Kevin McHale, still so handsome cute and goofy! cute.....and always those eyes!!!!
Their entrance to the stage was just....wow! Gave me chills and made me tear up! Whoever choreographed and staged this show is equally as amazing as the boys. I wish I would have been old enough to appreciate this back in 2000 but alas, I was like 4 lol. I wish performances like this still existed. Wow.

Watching all of their performances now, I wonder if Brittany is the true reason everyone put Justin first. JC was just as crush worthy and on the vocals enough. And with all of their beautiful tones and harmonies, dancing, and looks- if others had been shown/featured more often who knows what could’ve happened
Honestly, I prefer this performance to the Madison Square Garden show. The sound is more balanced and is mixed so much better, and everyone is on their game.

Wow, I remember seeing this tour @ Foxboro in MA. This is bringing back memoriieesss. Steven Tyler flew in in a helicopter with his Daughters and came in after the show started. My Dad is a huge Aerosmith fan so he was happy that Steven had to suffer through the show too hahah.

I saw this show at East Rutherford, NJ and it was incredible. Never felt energy like that at a concert again. It was like they fed off the crowd and we fed off them. This was them at their peak.
and yet it is BSB that is still together to this day aging well and kicking ass. plus none of them turned out gay as fuck. BSB has proven that they were and are and always will be the better band.

Its so weird how western pop just fell off like that. I love kpop because it took everything good about 90's American pop music and amped it up and refined it. They took this model of each song having its own choreography and own look to it and made that the standard there. I seriously can't take American pop music! If there even is choreography, it's really not that great and they don't perform like this! I don't care about people singing "live"! Save that for the slow songs! I'f im seeing a group on stage and non of them are playing instruments, they better dance damn it!!!1
Yeah, back in the 80s and 90s, the performers gave you far more than what you paid for. The energy was amazing. But I feel for the younger generations that just don't have fun entertainers like we did back in the past.

I have six full length takes of them from back in the day, especially when they were doing all their promotional stuff for NSA and Celebrity, but it’s nice to see how there are these little differences even during the show than what they had in their HBO special. I never got to see them in concert. But if i could have THIS would have been the tour i wanted to see. I know someone who did go. And their parents said you could barely hear the music because there was so much screaming. And this concert footage always proves that to be correct. And i love it!!
I actually seen this at an Imax theater in Michigan. FIrst time seeing it since then. Also fun fact I tried to win tix for this concert they filmed by entering a dance contest but lost.
The movie was never released on DVD or Blu ray because the producers got caught up in a massive lawsuit over who owned the home entertainment rights. HBO initially claimed them. It took 5 years to sort out, which by then the group had split up. It did receive one screening on US TV. Linda Nelson explains this in her interviews with Indie Film Hustle on RUclips.

I actually seen this at an Imax theater in Michigan. FIrst time seeing it since then. Also fun fact I tried to win tix for this concert they filmed by entering a dance contest but lost.
So what did we miss from this concert? Cuz no one seems to have the whole concert!!

The movie was never released on DVD or Blu ray because the producers got caught up in a massive lawsuit over who owned the home entertainment rights. HBO initially claimed them. It took 5 years to sort out, which by then the group had split up. It did receive one screening on US TV. Linda Nelson explains this in her interviews with Indie Film Hustle on RUclips.
