Quite a good review, the one you can definitely trust. I was always convinced that it's a very good phone but unfortunately it launched on a steep price in India and didn't sell well. However it's was on festive offers and I got it about ₹36000 USD430 12/256 GBs. Except Camera its way better than iPhone 15 or pixel 8. Software experience is too good n even battery lasts 24 hrs straight. Camera is acceptable to most does the job unless someone want to post every pic on Instagram.
I went from a 7 Pro to Nothing 2 at launch and I've been generally impressed. My reasons for switching were the anemic battery charging speeds and lackluster battery life of the Pixel. Top 3 gripes after months of usage: I miss the camera more than I thought I would. The lack of AptX HD/LDAC support as I have both current Sony XM5 models. Herky jerky switching between cell service/non-cell service situations. Pleasant surprise: The fingerprint sensor on the Nothing 2 seems to be head and shoulders than the one on the 7 Pro.
@@bpotato3310The camera array on the Pixel Pro is better than the one on the Nothing Phone 2. In particular, the telephoto lens which the Phone 2 doesn't even have. But beyond that there's also the special processing that Google employs on their first party phones. Taking photos on the Phone 2 isn't bad at all, just (understandably) not as good as the phone that takes arguably the best photos of all phones on the market. I knew this would be the case going in and I still stand by the decision. But the gap in photos is more noticeable than I thought it would be.
@@bpotato3310Nothing is not yet at Samsung/Oppo/Pixel level when it comes to camera in an android device. You buy this if you have a decent camera or Pixel/Samsung for camera.
I have a question about phone calls. How about the speaker? Is it loud enough in your opinion? Right now I have iPhone 13 Pro Max and I am thinking about switching to Nothing. Maybe I should wait until Phone 3 will be presented?
I'm using nothing phone 1 and i just love it. I bought it as soon as it was launched. I wanted to get pixel 7 but it was just too pricey at that time. Maybe in future I'll get pixel series as I've never owned one. Current pixel 8 is all about AI.
@@rythmater yea it's true many ai features cannot be used in day to day life. Only a person staying in a non English country would use it to translate on a daily basis.
I would say Nothing Phone has least lag on games, and I’m not going to argue that the Pixel doesn’t have a better camera, but the camera on Nothing Phone is solid. I use it to record b-roll close ups on a lot of my videos.
Here in Sweden the P8 Pro is twice(!) The price of the phone (2).. the Phone (2) is priced like a TON better than the P8 Pro. Nothing must have used dark magic to get the UI/OS running so damn smooth! The animations are fantastic as well. I sold my iPhone 15 Pro for the Phone (2) (the iPhone 15 Pro costs around 2.5 times the Phone (2) here in Sweden.. Battery Life is fantastic as well. The only thing that i find worse are the cameras. But other than those i would pick a Nothing Phone any day of the week before a Pixel (ive owned and loved several Pixels).
Yes, you can go for it. It's a solid build I am satisfied with all the features. I was little skeptical about camera when ordered but it exceeds my expectation. Now the price got discounted in India. Definitely a good buy.
The review is clearly unbiased and totally relatable to my experience using Nothing phone 2. Kudos.
Thanks!

The phone 2 does have at a glance, it's a widget that you can place on the home screen. It's called "quick look" and it's also dot-matrix themed.
Yeah, definitely, I have that on my Home Screen, doesn’t quite work like on Pixel, but close. Thanks!

If im not mistaken LDAC is available on NP 2, isnt it?

Thanks for the review. I'm leaning towards the nothingphone 2... OnePlus is still a contender too... tough choice!
Love the Nothing Phone 2! I’ve also been checking out the Nothing Phone 2a, both great phones!
Watching this video on Nothing phone (2) 😊
Love to hear that!
Guga is doing phone reviews too???
Don't waste your time in this video he is not comparing to pixel he just talks about the nothing phone

Can Nothing phone 2 can do double tap sleep and double tap wakd up, this small thing can save button life..
I’ve got an 8 and am looking at the Nothing 2. Thanks for the video.
You got it, thanks for watching!
No optical zoom on nothing phone, 5x optical zoom on pixel 8 pro
A lot of average phone users don't use zoom though. I only ever do on the extremely rare instance

Let me know!
Is phone is ok for normal use. Can you please tell me about the camera ? is it ok ?

@@AnandMoorthyJ Thanks ji. For 34k with card offer. Is good to go Or Pixel 7 40k
I would suggest Nothing 2, but do your research.
Turn your music down, I literally can't hear you.
Its high time for you to consult a doctor 😂
Will it run android 14?
I think is just about artificial intelligence. in the pixel 8 you can do more things
Same here
