Boxing Men's Light Welter (64kg) Gold Medal Final - CUB v UKR Full Replay from the ExCeL - South Arena 2 at the London 2012 Olympic Games. -- 11 August 2012
Roniel Iglesias Sotolongo (CUB) v Denys Berinchyk (UKR)
Boxing made its Olympic debut at the 1904 Games in St Louis, since then boxing has been staged at each edition of the Games, except in 1912 in Stockholm, owing to Swedish law, which forbade the practice.
The rules have evolved since the 1980s: 1984 in Los Angeles: protective helmet obligatory; 1992 in Barcelona: set-up of an electronic scoring system to strengthen the objectivity of refereeing; 2007: standardised point scoring. Women's boxing will make its debut at the 2012 London Games in London.

They don't seem experienced fighter as you can see the ukrain doesnt even throw jabs he just pushes the cuba guy and he just stands there doing nothing the cuba could use more the jab to keep the other fighter of him and damage him with right-left jabs/hooks

I really don't like this ucranian boxer, but you're right, against a cuban that is the right tactic.

Edu Nec In the Light Welterweight division you would be one of the smaller guys. There are fighters from 165cm to 180cm in this division. But most of them are about 172-175cm tall. InIn this case, the cuban is 177cm tall and the ukranian 170cm.

OOGS FYC141 amateur and pros are different, even then he shouldn’t state the obvious because that’s like saying a doggo can beat an American pit bull terrier. Two different breeds clear results.
