They really cannot fly that well without the tail, losing it really throws off the center of gravity
@@minigunuser25 ever seen the inside of the ka-52 tail? Cables and emptyness, you can even put some cargo like bags in it if you want. Plus the electronics does the job to stabilize the chopper so the point of gravity doesn't change that much even with the tail off. It would be a bit less manœuvrable for sure but nothing alarming.
And one round actually going into the rotor assembly would destroy the chopper,there is a reason choppers are considered a controlled crash and no one likes traveling in them they shake and are sketchy to be in lol
But do you have proof of the KA-52 being able to do this? I would love to see this in an actual environment highly unlikely they wouldn’t go down…

ka50 and ka52 can fly without tail

Imo the biggest possible issue with helicopter rushes is rarely the helos themselves but the guys in the tanks in general, because they just keep ignoring helicopters.
5 tanks drive in a group, helicopter takes the dumbest approach for a solid minute and just starts blasting. How many tanks start spraying at it with their machineguns? None. But they'll all start spraying venom about how broken helicopters and no-skill the pilot is.
And that happens all the damn time in GRB, it's much easier to complain about helicopters than to actually do something about it. Even at 8.3, it's not an Mi-28 you're looking at. It's either a Cobra, a Huey or even Mi-4. It doesn't need an AA to take any of these down, just start shooting at it. They're loud as fuck and not hard to hear at all.

New Game mode idea: combined arms. A player would choose what branch they play I.e. tanks, planes or helicopter (naval on some maps) where its all the current game modes mashed together on a air RB scale where tank players fight for their caps on the ground (maps would need to be bigger but also more varied in terrain) planes do their bomber and fighter stuff and helis have a long distance to travel and have their own objectives I.e. troop transport or capture points they land at. This is all happening at the same time so airplanes can do their obj or be CAS for tanks ect.

Ground battle units are weaker by default, at least in open maps. They are good for securing positions and urban combat, but in open maps, air superiority is what makes or breaks wars. Planes/Jets/Choppers can handle both ground and air threats, ground units have to specialize between the two and usually are sitting ducks for the faster air units.

Small thing but the S-13OF rockets are the fragmentation rockets intended for taking penetrating light armor in a good sized area. There are also Fuel Air Explosive rockets but those are the S-13D and S-13DF

The Mi-28N is a first spawn then just spawn the Ka-52 second, also 17:22, just use G-Force experience or do you consider that cheating?

@phly when pñaying choppers, use 90-95% of your engine's power when going in a straight line or doing non aggresive manouvers. Use 70-80% engine power when doing aggresive manouvers.
Yeah I'm leveling my US choppers through realistic ground battles. I recently unlocked the first Huey at 8.7. Definitely flies different then the AH-1G.
Ah-1g still a better ground pounder, Huey kinda sucks, even after unlocking the atgm

Day 1: The Stormer is usable now. Take the Stormer HVM out first spawn and cancel the helicopters. For best results make sure the server has a low ping.
The Mi-28 is the most menacing and beefiest heli ever.
Crazy idea what if choppers you could squad up with a homie and one of you fly and one is a weapons office. Might make choppers more enjoyable
16:00 WT' biggest issue with all forms of aircraft balancing spawn costs and BR for ground RB by airframe instead of by ordnance carried. Also to be a British Apache with brimstone behind that defilade that game, (note brimstone isn't currently in game, but if it was...).
