I agree. He went with the Diablo 100 which happens to be what I was thinking before finding this video. Is anyone familiar with any other ways or tricks to cutting mini-blinds?
ADCON Real I used a miter saw and it worked. You can probably try it with a hacksaw if you don't have a miter saw. Another guy on RUclips used a grinder and it worked also. You just need to tie it up or clamp it securely. I also taped where the cut was to be made and drew a line on the tape.
While this will work ok, ideally you want the top head rail to be half inch wider on each side so that it sits firmly in the bracket. Is there a way to do that type of cut?
You're backwards. The head rail needs to be (if anything) shorter not wider, because the end caps take up width space. The slats will be too short to cover the sides if you cut the head and foot longer. Keep them the same.
Worked perfectly. Thank you for your upload!
Oh my gosh that’s exactly what I need. I bought some wood cordless blinds and they’re a tad too big. This machine is awesome! Man wish I had one.
Wow, That's easy, Thanks.
What a good idea worked a treat with my sliding Chopsaw ...cheers....
Nice .
Grazie mille
So how do you trim down the mechanism inside?
What type of blade is on the saw?
Which blade did you use for the cut?
fusionstar916 Do you think it’s a 60T or 80T?
Probably more like 96 or 100. The one he uses actually looks like a Diablo 100T

@@adconreal8926 I wrapped the end of mine in a bit of masking tape to hold the blinds tight together, keep anything from jumping around.

use a piece of scrap stock to force the head rail away from the cut

Are you using a table saw or miter saw?
LMFAO miter saw
1:11 minutes.
Glory to God for everything!
Gritsenko: God is great!
What does this have to do with trimming blinds
God doesn't do blinds, that's why he created Home Depot
