It's wonderful that the 2000's are starting to get looked back on with nostalgia, much like the 80's or 90's, even though the time period wasn't that long ago.
Yeah because being a kid with no say in your life was really the best time of your life. Seeing your profile picture, I'm gonna say yes for you, it's clear you want to go back.
Yeah the 2000s were great but it wasn’t that extraordinary since there were some negative flaws that came to it. Virginia Tech Massacre, 2008 stock market crash, etc.
2000s pop rock, pop punk, emo, punk rock, post-hardcore, alternative rock, hard rock, and metal music, scene, and subculture, are what I love and miss from the noughties the most
Number one on this video wins the day children's television was at its absolute height from like 2002-2008 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2010 kids can not come close to our TV. It was an honor and a privilege to grow up in that era
This list is basically my whole childhood. I ate yogos, watched every single one of those TV shows, had a Wii, had pixel chix, and wanted an ipod so bad!
I still have an Nintendo Wii. Other shows then that were great were X-Men: Evolution, Jackie Chan Adventures, Yu-Gi-Oh! (all its spinoffs r keep getting more intense), and Toonami with T.O.M. and S.A.R.A.
Looking back on the 2000’s compared to today brings me nostalgia. The 2000’s were a great time to grow up in. The shows we had, the music we had, all the fun attractions we had back then made it so much fun. Times were a lot more simple and people were not offended by everything. Disney was King on TV, Tiger Woods was on top of sports, so many beloved celebrities were still around, and most of all, America was nowhere near as divided as it is now. The 2000’s were the best days! 😊
Ah yes. The 2000s. One of the best eras to grow up in. So glad I got that chance. I remember a lot of the things mentioned on this list. I got myself involved in quite a few of them. I still have the iPod shuffle my mom bought me for my 12th birthday. Plus I remember playing with many of the awesome toys back then as well. I got my PS2, my Leap Frog Turbo Extreme, DVDs, and other assortments of fun stuff. Not for sale btw. I also remember watching awesome shows like Avatar TLA, Suite Life, Teen Titans, Ben 10 etc. Thanks for making this video and making me remember the good ol days.
It’s hard to believe it has been 16 years since the "Things Change” finale of Teen Titans is aired and cut short way too soon after Trouble in Tokyo movie. While we can all accept that Terra wants to start a new life as a school girl and doesn’t want to be a hero anymore, we still have yet to know what Slade is plotting while the Titans are away battling the Brotherhood of Evil. Thus, a Starfire arc is never been made. Let alone explore more of Star's relationship with Blackfire, and their early history on their homeworld Tamaran. Also the minor character Jericho is the son of Slade (as seen in the comics). When we see his and Ravanger's connection to their father? Is Rose's characteristic is much similar of Karai of TMNT? But more importantly, when will this show be revived for season 6 or two more? Fans have grown restless and had been waiting for so long and all we get is the ongoing Teen Titians Go! Which displeases fans whom grown up with the original. Since we have see Samurai Jack been brought back, Warner Bros and DC Comics needs to consider it for this one!
Bro I’ll never forget that episode. That was the worst ending/finale to a great show ever. I got so heated cuz bru I wanna know so bad if beast boy actually regained her memory of him or na
@@j0rdan172 I believe Terra does regain her memories. Yet I have a theory that she wants to start a new life after all she went through as well as committed past sins and being manipulated. Guess you could said that she is trying to walk away from being a hero.
there’s way more to the 2000s that made it great. i think we’re the last generation to experience a good fun childhood. when my son is born he’s not going straight to a phone if he wants electronics he’s gonna use a PSP, Gameboy, nintendo DS, ipod touch, any of that and ima make sure he plays outside and lives that life! he’ll know what it feels like to eat a sandwich with doritos in it after playing in the pool 😆
@@brianodonnell4496 You may have a point. While the 2000's where full of unique and ambitious games, no console rivalry has been as legendary as Nintendo and Sega. When was the last time a game console add dissed its competition with ATTITUDE?
When I was in my early 20s, I used to say the same thing. I even discouraged my younger cousins from watching shows like Hannah Montana and CN Real (at the time I thought it was crap). Well, as someone who is now in her 30s, I've learned that while we loved our childhood, we can't push our childhood onto our children. They will experience their childhood in their own ways, and if they feel forced to love what we loved, they will just resent the past.
Ahh yes, my time to shine, I see so many videos talking about the 80s and 90s nostalgia and now it’s finally the 2000s kids turn! Which makes me feel young and old at the same time haha
I am born in 1997 which makes me the most 2000s of all 2000s kids, and 1997 is also the birth year to perfectly balance between the experiences of the Millennials and Generation Z. Those born in 1997 like me are the luckiest people because they experience the exclusive trends of the 2000s then later get their hands on the latest technology, like the shazam app for instance.

God I still have the shuffle I practically clung to as a kid. I was obsessed with music and I was that one kid who didn't have a phone or an ipod touch lol.
As a kid born in 2003 my favorite nostalgic moment in life probably was walking into a target that still had its 90s themed neon lights and cafeteria before the neon lights were removed and cafeterias replaced with Starbucks. Also walking into Kmart I miss :/
I still have and play the Wii. Man this video brought back so many childhood memories, I used to have a crap tone of those silicon bands. Perfect video WatchMojo!

I'm at the tail end of being a millennial, so this all was exciting! I missed out on some 90s kid stuff, but this was a wonderful nostalgic blast from the past
I didn't expect to feel nostalgia today! I really liked watching SpongeBob and Avatar as a kid.. Also, I got to experience watching movies in VHS tapes (it was around 2004), and my first movies seen in VHS cassettes were Shrek and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
Same here with VHS cassettes. I was born in 2001. I remember that when ever I wanted to watch a a movie, and episode of a recorded show, that we would have to rewind the whole thing. I especially remember watching Land Before Time, and a few Disney movies on VHS.
The 2000s-2015 were special times. Glad I was a 2000s kids. To everyone out there, the good old days in the 2000s cannot be replaced. 2000s, forever a fun legendary era
I agree I happy to experience this era I feel bad for my nephew he was born in 2016 so he could't experience it his generation are only experience technology like tablet they don't even watch TV at all and that made me feel bad there so addicted to technology yes we 97-2009 baby's did have technology but it wasn't very advance as it is today and that facts!- This is coming from a 2004 baby
As someone born in 1990, I still got to experience about half of the things mentioned! Great memories, especially with the Wii and the amazing TV shows back then :)!
1990 baby here! I enjoyed my teenage years in the 2000's, still feeling relevant to the ever growing technology but feeling aged by the new trends!!! Haha! Great times.
im also born in 1990, but i prefer my childhood years than teen years but my teen years werent so bad either, especially when compared to my adult years
Being born in the late 90s was a weird sweet spot to be in. Many 90s shows were still on/showing reruns and we got to enjoy everything the 2000s brought first hand. Young millenials and old Gen Z'ers have so much in common that I sometimes don't know what to call myself even though I am Gen Z. Kids born in 2012 are technically Gen-Z and I doubt I'd relate much at all with them, being born in 99.
I feel so sad for late 90s babies...no offence but it's not the same as actually being in the 90s :( loads of 80s shows were on when I was little but I can't claim to know what the 80s were like.
@@watermelonineasterhay That’s exactly how I feel about kids who were born around the mid to late 2000s they didn’t actually grow up during the time as I did being born in 95 like you said it’s just different but so many kids always be in denial of that 🤦🏻♂️
Damn! Now I feel old. 😁😁😁 How come we never realized we were living the time of our lives during that moment. We always see it through the lens of nostalgia. 😔
I was born in 1993 and I remember all of these things……except Bebo, which I apparently did not know existed until today. I mean idk about y’all but everyone I grew up with started on AIM or MySpace and went straight to Facebook. Also surprised Handheld Gaming didn’t make the list, especially the Gameboy/DS or the PSP
I'm not even in my thirties and I remember each of these commercials and the things we used to do and own. Even the commercials back then were fun to watch not to mention very nostalgic.
I hope watchmojo does a top 10 or 20 list of the best 2000's shows from Nick, Disney, and Cartoon network each. Cause I miss those Friday nights watching new episodes of my favorite cartoons and shows as a kid, not to mention the Saturday morning stuff.
90’s-2000’s was the best for TV. I wish we had TV like that again. 2010’s kinda had some bangers, but not like the 2000’s. Thank god for streaming services. 🙏🏾
I wasn't the most popular girl in school when I was in the 3rd grade. I remember asking this guy where he got his gel bracelets and he said students who only play sports get them. One day I just saw them up for sale at a shoe store. Of course when I came to school wearing two of them, he had the most surprised look on his face x)
As a 90's kid, i appreciate this video, when the days you are still on your TV and excited to watch the latest episode of the cartoons you are watching with..
I remember around the time the wii first came out. Every family gathering for the next 2 years or so had the whole family playing it. I don’t think there’s another console in my lifetime that’s been that iconic
9:11 "Buffering sometimes took as long as the video itself" Now in 2022, you have to sit through ads that take as long as the video you want to watch. Honestly, I kind of preferred buffering
My family got a wii a few months after they first came out and the controls were horrible and the sensor bar barely worked we actually had to return it and didn’t get another for like two years and that one worked so much better not sure if the first wave of wiis had bugs or if we just had bad luck.
I was born on March 3rd 2000 and i have experienced so many iconic and nostalgic things in that era, from Movies,Tv Shows,Cartoons,Anime,Videogames,Board Games,Card Games and even to Summer Camp Days, This was the decade and era that changed my life forever, even before the early 2010's. Man,i really miss the good old glory days.
Video Now, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, PSP, No Ads, Great Skateboarding, Ruthless Aggression Era WWE, Incredible Rock music and other genres, Flip phones and feature phones, Better fashion, Everything costed cheaper, Dating was more exciting, Toys were better (Toys R Us), funny movies such as Step Brothers, Super bad, 40 year old virgin and so much more!

Love your videos! I would just like to point out that Sony was actually the first to get into the “motion control” scene with the Eye Toy. It certainly had its flaws, but it was technically the first home console motion control gaming device.

@@_AdventureMan I was born in the second month in 2002. But my life there was still so much enjoyable then today's. I still remember the Wii, Xbox 360, PS2, the Old Disney, the Old Nick, and the Old CN. 2000s next to 90's and 80's has to be the best yearline.
Anyone else feel old watching this. No wonder I’m so picky on what tv shows to watch now a days. I’m still a kid at heart and watch my favourite kid shows that I grew up watching 😂😁
Nintendo Wii...Yeah I still remember it was nearly impossible to get one when they first came out. Too bad The Wii-mote was so unresponsive in certain games.
Being born in 1996 let me appreciate stuff from both the 90s and 2000s, but the 2000s were such an awesome time for me. Can I just go back to 2004 please?
Born in October 1996. What you speak are 100% facts. The first half of the 2000s (2000-2005) is vastly superior compared to 2006-2009 in my opinion. We had the best era of television because we still got to see the 90s leftovers such as Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy, and the Amanda Show. We had the Powerhouse and CN City eras of Cartoon Network such as Courage Cowardly Dog, Kids Next Door, Johnny Bravo, and the OG Powerpuff Girls to name a few. We got to see the first two Shrek movies and the Spongebob movie came out in 2004. If I remember correctly, 2004 was when Foster's Home for Imaginary friends came out along with the Incredibles and Part 2 of the live action Scooby Doo movies!
That’s exactly how I feel being 26 years old as well you mentioning 2004 makes me miss those MySpace days 😔 the only thing that bothers me is that when kids born around the mid to late 2000s try to act as if they grew up on the same stuff that we did when they didn’t we were honestly the last ones to actually grow up watching VCR before DVD players completely took over.

I agree I happy to experience this era I feel bad for my nephew he was born in 2016 so he could't experience it his generation are only experience technology like tablet they don't even watch TV at all and that made me feel bad there so addicted to technology yes we 97-2009 baby's did have technology but it wasn't very advance as it is today and that facts!- This is coming from a 2004 baby
yeah the kids today grew up with tech instead of nostalgia like what i grew up with, im born 1990
Who else remembers this commercial: "My daughter definitely knows how to use a computer better than I do half the time, and she's three and a half."
It was amazing to watch your favorite show every evening during the 2000s
As someone born in 1990, I still got to experience about half of the things mentioned! Great memories, especially with the Wii and the amazing TV shows back then :)!
1990 baby here! I enjoyed my teenage years in the 2000's, still feeling relevant to the ever growing technology but feeling aged by the new trends!!! Haha! Great times.
In between generation
im also born in 1990, but i prefer my childhood years than teen years but my teen years werent so bad either, especially when compared to my adult years
Being born in the late 90s was a weird sweet spot to be in.
@@watermelonineasterhay That’s exactly how I feel about kids who were born around the mid to late 2000s they didn’t actually grow up during the time as I did being born in 95 like you said it’s just different but so many kids always be in denial of that 🤦🏻♂️
2000s TV Shows were my childhood. I was born in 1994, but, the 2000s had the best TV shows!
the 90s too
Damn! Now I feel old. 😁😁😁
How come we never realized we were living the time of our lives during that moment.
My childhood's home I see again, and saddened with the view,
And still, as memory crowds my mind, there's pleasure in it too.

God I miss my childhood in the 2000s I never thought I would miss it as much as I do now
8:22 “Hey guys” (Wii Sports bowling ball goes into the other lane)😂
I'm a bit surprised that you didn't mention Digimon in the TV Shows section of this video.
I loved the living tweedle out of that program 🤘
Whoever missed Fox Kids?
My childhood 😭❤️ take me back
The 2000s was the best decade I’m glad I got to grow up in a legendary time
Same here
I'm not even in my thirties and I remember each of these commercials and the things we used to do and own.
Ahh, I remember the 2000s when I grew up. Just like old times...
Finally a list for me
I remember around the time the wii first came out. Every family gathering for the next 2 years or so had the whole family playing it. I don’t think there’s another console in my lifetime that’s been that iconic
90s and 2000s best time to be alive!
- Fox Kids/Fox Box
- Disney Afternoon/One Too/ABC Kids
- Kids' WB/The WB Television Network
- Toon Disney/Jetix(United States)
- Playhouse Disney
yep and was the top time to be a child, i was born in 1990, so i had the majority of my chidhood and teenhood in the 90s and 2000s how cool is that
@@brianodonnell4496 don't forget Adult Swim and Toonami!
9:11 "Buffering sometimes took as long as the video itself"
Now in 2022, you have to sit through ads that take as long as the video you want to watch.
Probably bad luck had no problem with mine.
Did you set yours up right the 1st time? I didn't on my 1sr Wii.
@@zacharycardon2353 yes probably more from luck than anything else 😀
I was born on March 3rd 2000 and i have experienced so many iconic and nostalgic things in that era, from Movies,Tv Shows,Cartoons,Anime,Videogames,Board Games,Card Games and even to Summer Camp Days,
This was the decade and era that changed my life forever, even before the early 2010's.
Man,i really miss the good old glory days.
Just imagine how stuff nowadays will be like in the 2040s.
they probably think all this be ancient
Yes. but I was mainly meaning 2020s stuff. Kids then will think about it the way we look at 2000s stuff now.
Hey kids remember masks 🤣
Pretty much.
WatchMojo video in 3... 2... 1...
Does anyone else remember those bracelets having a color code? Like, if you had a certain color it meant that you'd lost your virginity or something?

I remember because my granddaughter was born in 1998. We were devastated when we heard.
I was born in November 2000 and I look back fondly on these things
Funny, I was born in November 1990 so we're almost exactly 10 year apart.
Early 2000s kids got the best of both worlds. They experienced the best of of what the 90s and 2000 had to offer.
no, thats late 90s kids, 89-92
@@chadwellington2524 Its 2000s kids so if were child during this time 12 and under. The good things of the 90's carried over and the 2000s was the golden age of tv and cartoons. If ur born in 89-92, the likelihood of you watching half these cartoons is low, the same goes for the toys. I was born in 2000 and i caught everything 🤷🏾♀️. Earliest i'd give credit to is 95
@@chadwellington2524 Media wise yes i did. All the movies that were in theatres was on tv and re-runs a good 90s shows which why i said the best. They werent gonna replay the worst. Ppl born before 95 missed alot when it comes tv. I grew on what they watched and experienced what was new at the time
@@katmossa3503 ok fair enough
yep i had my childhood during the best time
getting back from school to watch xzibit on pimp my ride and play with the hot wheels cars man those were the days
No one born in the late 90s/early 2000s was watching Pimp My Ride.
Yeah. That was for adults
You’re wrong cuz I was definitely on mtv watching pimp my ride at a young age
Nope my brother and I were watching it and we are 90’s babies.
I mean I was born in 95 and still remember that show along with mtv cribs and the yo momma show.
You know you're getting older when the Internet starts advertising to your childhood nostalgia lol
I still have 4 gel bracelets that are still on my left hand for 5 years lmao
I was hoping to see a comment like this -laughs- I was afraid I was the only one.
MySpace best social networking ever ✌🏾💪🏾
I remember playing the Snake game with the RUclips Buffering 😂
I really love and miss the 1990s better than the 2000s! By the way, I was born in 1990.💁♀️
1991!! Evolution of technology happen b4 our eyes 👀
The 90s were just magical! And 2000 - 02 rode that wonderful wave too
im also born in 1990, yep we all had our childhoods without tech unlike someone born in like 2010
The ipod shuffle was perfect for skiing and mountain biking, honestly wish I still had mine
The early 2000's were the good years man awesome
late 90's and early 2000's was a great time to be a kid
I was born in 1985. But for me, 2000 - 2009 was the last good decade. Since 2010, almost everything just doesn't seem as good. Sorry, I'll take my nostalgia goggles off now. 😊
Lol nah, I was born in 88 and you're spot on. I would say the drop off point was 2008 with the financial crash though.
Who else remembers this commercial: "Hello, zombie here!"
Every milenium has ITS own experience
Who else remembers the McDonald's commercial where the judge of the art contest calls the sunshine and rainbows picture nice, the starry night ripoff interesting, and the fountain impressive? The girl with the fountain responded "I know."

Love your videos! I would just like to point out that Sony was actually the first to get into the “motion control” scene with the Eye Toy. It certainly had its flaws, but it was technically the first home console motion control gaming device.
2000's kids are like 1992/3-2001
Sounds Accurate
2002 might be the last year to be considered a 2000s kid imo. Maybe 2003 as well but idk I feel like 03 is pushing it 🤷🏻♂️
@@mando7323 yeah I could say 2003 even tho they lean 2010s. They were 6 in the late 2000s and that’s enough imo.

Nintendo Wii...Yeah I still remember it was nearly impossible to get one when they first came out. Too bad The Wii-mote was so unresponsive in certain games.

I totally remember the silicone bracelets. I actually had so many I got in trouble in school for trading them with my friends lol 😂

Yeah same here! Born in that year as well
Born in October 1996.
@@RockNRollSurf Yes as the 90s were still in effect in the early y2k, later on it got bland
