    Recipe LARGE PORTION (as in the video) equals ~40 caneles
    1500g whole milk
    50-100g sourdough levain (optional ingredient)
    90g butter
    600g sugar
    380g wheat bread flour (mejnerts type "00")
    6 eggs
    60g eggyolk
    10g salt
    180g rum
    ½ - 1 vanilla pod
    SMALL PORTION

    130g wheat bread flour (mejnerts type"00"
    2 eggs
    20g eggyolk
    4g salt
    60g rum

    Hi, Thank you for sharing beautiful Canele. My most favourite since my first bite from French cafe.
    I never try canele made from wheat fl. and sour dough and never seen any one using. But I believed your experienced and really want to try yours.
    I already got beeswax from the beesfarm but after watching this I m aware it will stuck on my kitchenware 😅😢😅😢.
    Canele is very unique beautiful and sexy, hard to forget. That s why I found you here.

    Hey, I'm myself a baker and this is the first time I see some cannelé (and I'm from bordeaux 😁) with sourdough ? What's the go ? Does it give extra acidic taste ? I'm very curious.

    Canelés are awesome! I'm just wondering, doesn't the sourdough make the batter a tad heavy?
    - and sorry to nitpick, but it's written Bordeaux :)
